This is a cute cabin studio in the town of Harrison. You can walk into town for great food and entertainment or to enjoy the public beach and free boat dock. Here is a link to all the fun things you can do in the area. There is no lake access from cabin just a great view of the lake.this-outdoor-adventure-town-is-a-year-round-blast.html. The cabin has a queen size bed and a couch 1 guest could sleep on if needed. The bathroom is small but does have a shower. I did mark no pets but dogs are OK just no cats.Harrison is a mecca for cyclists and roller bladers on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. This 72-mile paved rail-trail stretches across the Idaho Panhandle from the Coeur d'Alene Indian Reservation in Plummer, to Mullan, a few miles from the Montana border. The Harrison trailhead is at mile 15.3.
Location was incredible- an adorable cabin nestled just far enough from the town square to feel very remote. Appliances and shower are updated- the rest of the cabin is what you'd expect from an "old-timey" lake cabin.
The house was cozy but the heat source was barely hot enough to keep the place warm. Parking is pretty tight but it can be done. I was pulling a boat so that made it a little difficult. The road coming in is basically a one lane road so if somebody else is coming in at the same time you have to back up down the road or try to find a spot wide enough to pull over. The lake view is nice from the deck. The host was very good at getting back fast with any questions I had. It's an old house that has been fixed up on the inside. Nothing fancy but a decent place to stay. Batteries in both remotes for the tv were dead.
The delightful cabin was a lovely place to stay. The lake view from the deck is wonderful! Itâs quiet, clean, and close to town. We would stay here again.
Seemed as advertised. A little on the rough side, but i think that was the intention. A little further from town than thought. But definitely a charm. Damn trees blocked sunset
This was a last minute booking for us. The price was ok but it seems high compared to the stay. The building is old-easy to access though. The inside has a decent floor and nice planks on the ceiling. A couple of the windows look newer but the rest is worn and outdated. If the interior and exterior were to be refreshed and the grounds landscaped, this would be a wonderful place to stay and the view from the rear deck is great.Of note, their isnât a curtain on the back wall of windows and it gets really bright in the room very early-no sleeping in!
The view is lovely. Yes, the cabin is small but fine for a couple or small family. Deer came through each day. Apple trees, plum trees and berry bushes abound! The cabin could use a bit more attention to detail such as having foil, plastic baggies, a dish cloth. The couch needs a good cleaning and the extra bedding seemed like it could be better stored. The bathroom was clean but still seemed to have a urine smell. At some point, the trees surrounding the deck could be trimmed a bit to expand the view. Very cool to step out onto the deck in the middle of the night to check out the stars.Overall, a nice stay, just a bit rough around the edges.
I wanted a cozy getaway, and this cabin was clean, easy to access, a very close drive to town (groceries etc), the bed was comfortable, and I had a great time. I even had a front row seat (on the covered part of the deck) to a spectacular summer rainstorm. This is not a luxe lodging, but a basic & slightly quirky place, and it suited me perfectly. I kayaked from the Harrison waterfront & walked the trail. I saw wild turkeys, a covey of quail, an osprey and many other birds.
My wife and I stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The cabin was exactly as described. It has the charm of an older cabin but is fixed up really nice. Had a nice kitchen with electric range and full size refrigerator/freezer, dual coffee maker, air fryer and toaster. Bed was comfortable and had a small bathroom with a nice size shower. There is a nice deck with a great view of the lake. I would definitely stay there again and hope that we can.
Nice quiet place, good bed, well outfitted kitchen. Harrison has limited dining choices with limited hours pre-season. Grocery store was small but had a good selection.
This property is exactly like it is described in the advertisement. The cabin was roomer than I expected but it is a small unit. More than two people would be crowded. The deck really makes this property a great place to stay. The kitchen is cramped but has good appliances. The shower was a great surprise because it is very roomy, has nice tile work and lots of hot water. Parking is tight but doable. Access to the rails to trails is a little inconvenient but you just have to walk a little farther to have access. I would stay here again
Property was amazingly gorgeous, exactly as described, pet friendly, check-in process was simple.....would highly recommend both the room and host. Extraordinary experience!
The cute cabin is small, clean and well kept. It was very peaceful and the windows made the whole place beautifully light up. The deck was partially covered and very large, with safety rails all around. There is a gas grill, outdoor couch and metal tables with chairs for outside enjoyment.
