THIS CRAFTSMAN FOUR BEDROOM HOME IS IDEALLY LOCATED A FEW BLOCKS FROM THE BEACH, RIVER, CITY PARK AND A SHORT WALK TO DOWNTOWN RESTAURANTS ON SHERMAN STREET OR THE FAMED COEUR D'ALENE RESORT. The remodeled beach house was a great place for my family to stay. The five of us had plenty of room to spread out. The bedrooms were really comfortable. We loved hanging out in the backyard and on the front porch. Such a great location right near the park, the lake, and downtown. Location can’t be beat!

The property is wonderfully located near the lake and allowed for multiple walks to the water each day we were there. Our family also went to Silverwood theme park, which was a reasonable drive. The house had a large main room and the perfect amount of sleeping spaces. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival, and check out was simple.

50th anniversary

All inclusive, fenced in yard, plenty of open family room, kitchen space and bedrooms. Walking distance to the beach, park and community activities! A great way place to celebrate with family!

Golf Trip

As a group of eight senior men (all school friends) who go on a one week annual golf trip, we are always looking for the perfect house. Our requirements are simple, eight separate beds, ample bath/shower facilities and a larger fully stocked kitchen with plenty of space to prepare meals. This rental fills all those and many other needs. This listed property is well represented in the listing but I don't think that Bill the owner has shown potential renters what a beautiful, private back yard he has. The large fences make the back yard very secluded which is important for our after round socializing. There is plenty of grassy space to play other outside games. The owner was very accommodating. We had a slight problem inside the house that was quickly remedied by making himself available to us. Bill quickly called his local handyman and in no time the problem was corrected. We will be back again in 2016 and have asked the owner to pencil in the dates. This is a perfect place for a golf group both men, women or both. Coeur d'Alene vacation

The location of this property was close enough to walk to the lake and park. The open floor plan was roomy for our group. My only complaint is there were a lot of spiders and bugs. It was a nice house and we enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous house walking distance to lake and restaurants

This house was wonderful. The pictures don’t do it justice. The great room is really beautiful and provided a spacious place (kitchen, dining room, living room combo) for our family of my husband and me, plus our three 20-somethings to cook, read, watch tv, and generally hang out together at any times of day. There are three bedrooms which are very nice, plus one that is a little funky with four twin beds, but my husband and I put two twins together and it was a great little room for us, and gave us privacy from our children. It was also a plus having a second family room downstairs. We ate dinner almost every night outside on the patio which is part of a very private back yard with a nice green lawn where my husband did his workouts every morning. If we came back to Coeur d’Alane, we would definitely want to stay here again. Bill, our host was quick to respond to our every need. Alice Amspoker

Great family space and excellent location

My family of 7 slept comfortably in this clean, well-stocked house. We especially loved all the family space on the first floor. The kitchen and living room were perfect for playing games, cooking meals, and chatting. A large dining table was a plus! Most importantly, the location cannot be beat. We were close to the beach and downtown, but just a few blocks away so the area felt very quiet. The air conditioning was much appreciated on the hot summer days! Definitely recommended.

Great Location

There are many wonderful things about the property – great location (close to city beach/park/downtown), lots of room for a large family (there were 9 of us), central A/C, comfortable beds). However, the kitchen is not stocked as well as other rental properties in the area, especially for a 4 bedroom house (i.e. no cookie sheet, no oven mitts, no sharp/decent knives for chopping). You may have to buy or bring a few items if you are doing lots of cooking. Communication with the owner prior to arrival wasn't great (i.e. there was supposed to be 4 beach chairs...there were only 2, there was supposed to be a play pen...but we couldn't find one, I asked him to let me know when he received my cheque, and he never got back to me). Also, the communication at the house (white binder) wasn't as clear as it could have been (i.e. recycling pick up only every other week, lawn maintenance needs access to the backyard, so cars need to be clear of the back gate, parking permit details, etc.).

Comfortable/Beautiful Home

Rented this and another home from same owner for a weekend. Both homes were just as represented by description and photo on VRBO. Close proximity to each other was perfect for my large extended family, we could walk to and from each house in a matter of minutes. Great location, we needed to be near resort for a wedding. Wedding party used the homes to get ready for the wedding as the resort was over booked and could not provide a place for them to change prior to ceremony. The homes were well decorated, well stocked and very comfortable for our family. Will definitely rent again if in CDA again.

Close to everything,yet peaceful.

Very spacious property.Air conditioning great to escape the heat.Excellent kitchen with everything you could possibly need.Comfortable furniture throughout,is a lot bigger inside than the property looks from the outside. Quiet neighborhood yet walking distance to beach and downtown.Would defibately stay there again.Owners very helpful.

Great time. Close to downtown, lake, prefect location.

Thanks for sharing your home with our family. The home is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, The downstairs area is very nice and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. It was more space than we needed. We enjoyed sitting in the back yard eventhough we had some snow flurry's. The price is more than reasonable. I will stay here again in the summer if im lucky enough to find it available.
