New remodel family friendly and just minutes from downtown and ski resorts
Brand new remodel, perfect for family or friends. Centrally located just minutes away from downtown Salt Lake City, Sugar House Park, 15 minutes from the airport, and less than 25 minutes away from Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons & the greatest snow on earth! Hiking, mountain biking, historic Temple Square, and City Creek shopping center and much more all within 15 to 30 minute drives. Plenty of free parking too. This is the lower level of a newly remodeled duplex. Everything is brand new. There is also a work station with desk, keyboard, monitor and mouse.
Home was very nicely remodeled. The neighborhood looked a little sketchy at first, but we had no issues during our stay. Only issue was a small ant problem in the very front of the house. Other than that, it was great.
My family of 6 stayed here for three nights and we were excited about all the great reviews this home had. We were disappointed when we walked in. Yes, the house was big and had ample room for all of us and parking was easy, but the house was filthy. Kitchen had dirty wash rags and used paper towels under the sink with no cleaning supplies to use. We had one dish towel and kitchen equipment was lacking. Bedrooms had dust bunnies and garbage under the beds. Bathrooms had dirty shower curtains and grime in corners. We were excited about the idea of using the BBQ, but the back patio was over grown with weeds and old construction materials. The house also had no window coverings in the front of the house where anybody walking by can look into the house. The closets had random clothes and even a pile of old socks. Needless to say we would not stay here again.
Nice rooms with plenty of space and gathering area for our group of 8. This is a duplex and the upper area was unoccupied during our stay. We had a short visit, but the area was quiet and we felt comfortable and safe. Plenty of amenities nearby and a short drive to the arena. Recognize that the 4th bedroom has triple bunk beds and is really set up for children since the space between the beds is small. Very enjoyable stay and the host is friendly and helpful.
Everything was great, except the house was really cold. Next time add curtains to the living room that will help with the cold living room and cold floors. Other than that it was great. Will stay again.
The townhouse is large and comfortable, we only had 6 people and the space could have accommodated more. Good location in South Salt Lake, easy access to grocery stores and the freeway
Interior nice but can hear occupants movements in rental above property
The furnishings are new. The triple twin bunk bed is definitely for small children. We heard the occupants upstairs walking around and moving their luggage, even their talking at times. It kept some of us up at night. There were four bath towels, three wash cloths, and three hand towels in the rental. The dishes had not been removed from the dishwasher. There were no condiments in the rental. Renters must bring everything.
Very nice and spacious. But the real challenge is there is an upper level that had people check in the same night we did and they were loud and jumping up & down. We can feel all that downstairs - need to do something about the noise. All else was superb!!
Recently remodeled and well done. Beds were comfy and having three bathrooms was great for our competing cheerleaders to be able to get ready. My complaints were that there was nowhere in the house for our group to sit and hang out together or to eat a meal together. One small table in the kitchen with three chairs and three barstools at the counter. We had wanted to play a game but it wasnât comfortable. The living room also does not adequately seat the amount of people the house advertises. I would suggest providing extra toilet paper to your guests- we had about three squares in one of the bathrooms on arrival and running straight to the store after a day of travel was not what we wanted to do.
