We are proud to offer this gleaming gem of a property to our guests seeking a refreshing and beautiful getaway just moments from the heart of downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. Every aspect of this newly remodeled home is joy personified, from the crystal-clear windows and skylights through which brilliant sunshine spills itself across engineered hardwood flooring in every room, to the aesthetic décor with organic accents.
The Space: The exterior of “Carmel’s Jewel Box” shines in crisp white. Its interior color palette consists of warm neutrals and glowing whispers of color – oranges, blues, and light pinks that meld graciously with the sunlight and complement various natural elements, including a stone fireplace in the living room. The overall effect is at once calming and invigorating, with the eye gradually seduced by subtle nuances of hue and tone, as if it were beholding a sherbet sunrise over Carmel Bay.
The fully accoutered kitchen at “Carmel’s Jewel” is a marvel of white and gold, with a panel-ready Bosch refrigerator, a stainless-steel Bosch oven and six-burner range, a built-in microwave, a coffee maker, a Miele dishwasher, high-end dishware, and innumerable other tools and amenities you or your private chef will need to create all your favorite gourmet dishes.
A massive skylight overhead fills the space with restorative sunshine. Savor breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the formal dining room, or take your meals outside on the backyard stone patio. Fully fenced and featuring a grill, a small table, and a firepit, this is the ideal spot to relax with your friends in the shade and privacy of towering oak trees.
Listen to the roar of the Pacific Ocean, appreciating just how near you are to world-class natural beauty and iconic attractions on the Monterey Peninsula and beyond. The gates of Pebble Beach are just minutes away, as is California Highway 1, from which you can access historic sites in Monterey, Butterfly Town charm in Pacific Grove, the luscious vineyards of Carmel Valley, and the redwoods and scenic hiking trails of Big Sur.
Once the martini shaker is empty and movie or game night has concluded for the evening, take sanctuary in one of three spacious bedrooms, each of which showcases the same gorgeous simplicity that defines the rest of “Carmel’s Jewel.” Hardwood flooring, sumptuously soft blue rugs, big windows, and natural accents compose a delightfully refined aesthetic.

Monterey County Ordnance requires we collect Transient Occupancy Tax equal to 10.5% of rent. Some Vacation Rental websites do not support collection of T.O.T. In those cases, the Tax must be paid directly to Property Manager prior to or upon arrival for all Rentals shorter than 30 Days.
Monthly rental rates are discounted to reflect that guests booking reservations of more than 28 days are required to pay Gas, Electric and Water Utilities in addition to the quoted rental rate.

Wonderful getaway in central location
I stayed 2 nights with my family and we had a wonderful experience. From communication before checking in to the absolutely clean house, it made our vacation so comfortable and stress free. The place is well decorated and everything you need is prepared thoughtfully in advance. The location was also very close to town which made it easy to explore anytime we wanted. Will definitely recommend!

Carmel Jewel Box is a Jewel
Lovely renovated house, with great design. Top of the line fixtures, appliances and finishes. You can't ask for better in Carmel. Outdoor spaces are as thoughtfully designed as the interior. What a treat to stay here!

Bliss just a small distance from town
We loved the property. It was light and airy, with a luxurious simplicity. Perfect for our family. Easy 20 min walk into Carmel. Wouldn’t want to walk back in the dark but ubers were plentiful from Carmel’s great choice of restaurants. We did a family electric bikeride around 17 1/2 mile road which was really fun with Mad Dogs and Englishman shop. Would book this house again in a heartbeat.
