Family-sized ranch style home with front balcony, bay window and back deck so you can fully enjoy the long views of beautiful Big Creek Valley any time of year. Quiet country setting close enough to everything you need but just far enough away to relax in peace and comfort when you're "back home" at the property. Tastefully furnished throughout, including a fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances, cookware and table service you might wish for to whip up your favorite dishes.

Only a few miles from the Elroy/Sparta Bike Trail, canoe and kayak rentals, Sparta's municipal golf course, snowmobile and cross country ski trails, and iconic parks with unique bridges. The Local History Museum and Deke Slayton Space and Bicycle Museums are fun stops. Take a half hour drive to Cashton's Amish communities to do a bit of shopping at farms along the way - or head West toward West Salem and La Crosse where even more adventures await!

This house is great. Lots of room for a family and pets. my mom is in. Wheelchair and was able to maneuver around the house, no ramp to get in but we didn’t expect one. Property owners did an amazing job fixing up the place and were very accommodating.

This home is awesome!! Wonderful, peaceful location with amazing views. Would have loved to stay longer and just relax! Hosts were great - Larry happened to be going by when I pulled up and introduced himself and had a really nice chat! It was nice knowing they were close by .....Don't hesitate to book this gem!!

Perfect Peaceful Location

Great location for our biking trip to Sparta. This home is beautiful and surrounding property is Great to sit and appreciate the view. Everything you need for your stay is provided. Our hosts made it easy to arrive and immediately felt very comfortable.

Family Friendly Home

This home is an easy drive from Sparta. There was a good choice of restaurants and a Walmart handy for groceries and other supplies needed.Larry & LuAnn were wonderful hosts, easy to reach & very accommodating. I would strongly recommend renting this home.

This home is very well maintained, clean & comfortable. It's decorated & furnished nicely, not with some "hodge podge" mismatched stuff. The furniture is comfortable & clean (not stains, holes, etc.) The beds were also very comfortable with extra blankets available in the closets if needed. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. I don't have a bad thing to say about this place & wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. The hosts were extremely prompt in messaging back, kind & courteous.

Last-minute July 4th Getaway

This property is true to its listing!! We absolutely loved it; in fact, out of the dozen or so properties we've booked through VRBO, this was one of our favorites!! Relaxing views, clean, comfortable...and the hosts are super nice and accommodating too (they also own a cute furniture store next door with absolutely beautiful items)!!! If we are ever back in the area, we will DEFINATELY book again!! Thank you!!!

Great country home!

Beautiful open concept layout perfect for family to gather. Location is just outside Sparta and not too far from other nearby towns for additional activities. We enjoyed our Christmas holiday weekend at this home. Larry was super helpful with communication if any needs were to arise.

Amazing property

We had a fabulous stay! The property was clean and extremely well appointed. The owners were quick to respond. The home is large, the beds were amazing and there were great small touches that we appreciated such as heating lamps in the bathroom, books and puzzles and extra blankets. We would definitely stay again!

The Sparta Home Away from Home

This home certainly met and exceeded our expectations. If there was a way to give it 10 stars, I would certainly do that! The woodwork in the home is beautiful, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The views are picturesque. Communication with the host is friendly, prompt and very helpful.

Elroy Sparta Ride Getaway

We stayed at the property for 2 nights when visiting from Illinois to ride the Elroy Sparta trail. The home is comfortable with everything you need. It sits aside scenic farmlands. It's very quiet and peaceful yet close to town for coffee, restaurants and shopping. Larry and LouAnn were great hosts. They responded quickly to all our questions and requests.

The property was lovely. 7 of us stayed at the house, 5 adults and 2 kids, for our brothers wedding. We were all incredibly pleased with the house, the owners, the area, everything. It was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Thank you SO much! And visit the shop next do-or Used Anew.

Absolutely perfect vacation rental set up!!!

Everything from the beautiful country setting, to the extremely comfortable beds was set up perfectly For a family to enjoy a vacation of one night to one month or more !!! One of the things that we really appreciated was the amount of open table space for dropping stuff off, plenty of room to store all of the stuff you bring along on a vacation so that it was handy for you. The three very good size bedrooms, and the closets and the 2 1/2 bathrooms were awesome and everything was beyond clean and extremely well set up. Also really appreciated that I didn’t have to spend the last two hours of my vacation cleaning up the house. When we were charged for cleaning service it literally meant we got to just leave. The owners own a little log cabin next-door. It is set up as reclaimed wood home decor shoppe. So cool! They were so kind, and accommodating, and extremely quick with Any questions we had. It was just beautiful and so relaxing. The house is sitting near a road in the front, but it is very rarely used road and then there’s acres behind you until the homeowners house which is set way up on the hill. And it is absolutely exquisite setting all around. Farm fields of corn and beautiful bluffs and quintessential Church set off in the distance. The fall colors were starting and it was absolutely picture perfect. I honestly could keep going on and on, but you’re probably pretty sick of reading by this point but don’t let that stop you from booking this place!!!!!
