De nombreux invités reviennent année après année pour des vacances à Wrightsville Beach - la manière traditionnelle! Cette maison de campagne historique et saine plaira à coup sûr! Profitez de fantastiques vues sonores et couchers de soleil depuis le magnifique porche enveloppant avec des rockers confortables! Juste en face, les enfants adoreront jouer dans les eaux douces et saines. L'accès à la plage est du côté de South Lumina, juste en face de la rue. Faites une agréable promenade jusqu'à l'hôtel Blockade Runner et dînez dans son restaurant primé.

Le chalet est vraiment charmant! Le niveau principal comprend une petite cuisine, mais fonctionnelle, un salon / salle à manger, 1 chambre (AC / fenêtre chauffée) et une baignoire extérieure sur le porche avant. A l'étage, 3 chambres (AC / fenêtres chauffantes) et 1 salle de bain. Cette propriété ne dispose pas de chauffage central ni d'air, et n'est pas disponible entre les mois de décembre et avril de chaque année. Ne manquez pas l'occasion de découvrir la façon dont Wrightsville Beach était autrefois!

Apportez votre bateau et louez un slip à côté au Blockade Runner qui a toujours un slip disponible au nom de "Persil".

Annual Beach Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friends and I rent the Parsley house for a week every year and it's the perfect place to spend a beach week. The house is comfortable and has everything we need. We love the fact that it's a classic Wrightsville Beach beach cottage and is well suited for a leisurely stay. The beach on the sound side is perfect for hanging out and for keeping our boat moored. We'll keep renting this cottage every year for sure!

Very beachy, need AC

Well appointed in terms of dishes, cups, etc.; I was worried that the outdoor shower would be an issue, but it ended up being fine. The porch is amazing! If you are ok spending most of your time outdoors and don’t want to be inside at all (which is the intent at the beach!), you will enjoy this home.. it was a bit stuffy downstairs with no AC in July.

It was everything.

went in for a quiet collective experience, as I was turning 30, and came out feeling more at peace and loved than I knew was possible. Just a couple close friends and me, but the place can happily sleep more. It was quiet and a thankful spot. Alot of the artwork was images of what this place had been before the realty business saw its beauty in location. Just behind us was the ocean, but we spent most the time on our own private beach just outside the front door. When i say it was transformative, I mean it. I dont think I'll ever rent a different house on WB and nor will I let my friends!! I've been in the area nearly 10years now and the oasis of this place is unmatched. Be prepared for amazing sunsets, a private feel in a bustling beach town, and for true character in the house. So much love. Thank you to the owners.

It's a great place to enjoy the beach with friends. The house itself is comfortable and casual and the wraparound porch is ideal for hanging out and enjoying the sound views. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the charm of the Parsley Cottage. Very comfortable until the heat index reached 107•. Bedrooms were comfortable though. I loved the porch. If I were to add anything it would be a table and chairs on the porch so you could eat out there and enjoy the view. The children loved spotting rabbits in the bushes! All appliances wereed well. The kitchen is well equipped.

Great...for anytime BUT summer

The description was very clear that there was air conditioning in the bedrooms but DID NOT specify there was NO air in the living areas. We went the week of July 4th and we melted all week. Also no ceiling fans on the porch and not close enough for an ocean breeze. If you plan to be out of the house and only sleep here, it's great...nice cool air in the bedrooms only. But do not plan to come in the summer. We were given 2 fans, but they blew HOT air and you would need some kind of commercial grade fan to get any relief from the heat. We enjoyed docking across the street and spent as much time as we could away from the house during the day.

Really Neat House - rustic but we enjoyed it

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great home, loved it for our guys paddling/surf trip to Wilmington. Laying on the porch was amazing. Very historic and charming home with prime location.It could be a bit more clean (dust bunnies under the beds, etc). But superficially it was fine. Trip was in April so temps were perfect. Not sure how this house would be come July and August with just window units. I probably would not take a family trip with grandparents or babies here. But perfect for us. No cable or internet even thought it was to be provided. We were not offered compensation for lost amenities. That was a bit disappointing - more of a Bryant Real Estate issue over the actual home. But it's nice to see these old historic homes with a story around the island, and not just new construction mansions.

Great Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cottage is vintage, old school WB! Wrap around porch is the main draw! Sleeping perfectly comfortable with bedroom AC units. Overall as advertised! Two suggestions - 1 - we didn't use the oven once but there was a constant smell of gas in the kitchen and into hallway. That's a concern that should be addressed in the name of safety. 2 - owner doesn't want bikes on the porch but it rained every night and leaving them outside not the solution. No other roofed area to store them and everybody wants a beach cruiser at the beach.

We had our own beach access on the waterway and across the street from the ocean. The house was very clean. The wraparound porch was amazing to sit out on in the evenings! The Bryant Realty staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful! I would highly recommend this cottage to everyone!

Don't expect Bryant to follow up...

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented the Parsley for my Sister, Brother-in-law, Mother, Girlfriend, Myself, and our dog for a weekend in Wrightsville beach as we were attending the wedding of a close friend. Upon arriving, we noticed a overwhelmingly pungent musty smell throughout the entire house, and found out that this house DOES NOT HAVE A SHOWER FACILITY INSIDE. I immediately called the Bryant office to notify them, and they're response was "the photos on the website were clear on the amenities". The outdoor shower door was broken, the old wooden slats on the shower floor had exposed nails popping out, and the shower floor felt like you would fall through at any moment. Housekeeping arrived, confirmed that they were shocked by the overwhelming musty smell and sprayed air freshener around. This was AFTER we had opened up every window that wasn't painted or swollen shut and turned on every fan in the house for 2 hours. Maintenance stopped by and repaired the door to the outside "shower" and pounded in the nails in the shower floor... He said that there was nothing he could do about the safety of the floor and if I was going to shower in there, to make sure that I stood on the support beam in the middle and not just on the unsupported floor. (mind you I am 6'1" and about 200 lbs... I'm not "petite" but I shouldn't have to worry about falling through a shower floor naked)Admittedly, the maintenance guy, and the housekeeping couple were more than pleasant... Although both were shocked that the house met the expectations of the realty company. When I called the office at the realty company, I was assured that I would be able to voice my concerns to the owner or a manager... no one returned any phone calls... no concessions were offered. If I were you, I would stay away from the Parsley house, and Bryant Real Estate. Find somewhere else to stay.

Reviewer Comments: Way to many roaches, they were everywhere.They were in the bathrooms, bedrooms, living room , dining room, awful.we were given a can of bug spray to "handle"the problem. Not my plan for my vacation. Porch bathroom was not very clean and the rust around the sink was really bad.A little paint would really help.We love the shower but it needs repairs.The house is showing it's age.

Quaint old school beach cottage

To open, this is an excellent rental - if you have the right expectations. This is an early 20th century beach cottage that has stuck around even as newer houses and condos have gone up nearby. With that in mind, if you're someone who is looking for a condo or resort atmosphere, this is not it. It has a great wraparound porch and the location is just several blocks from "Downtown" where all of the little shops are, easily walkable. The house includes in a mini-beach area on the bay side across the street, and also has path access (they don't tell you this) shared with the house opposite on the beach side. Window AC units are in the bedroom but shared spaces are not air conditioned. The second bathroom is on the porch and designed for people coming back from the beach - it would be considered semi-outdoor. It appears the same family has owned this house for several generations as there many family photos and items throughout. It has basic cable TV although the Internet is NOT high speed - it is fine for checking e-mail but if you are planning on working you will need to go to Starbucks or elsewhere. To address Amy H.'s extremely negative review, yes, there is a "public access sidewalk" - known to most as just "a sidewalk" - next to the house as Wrightsville Beach is set up like a small town on a street grid - 3/4 of the houses front a sidewalk! The houses are on city lots and so yes, parking is tight - 4 mid-sized cars would be the max, and if you have country-folk sized pick up trucks, probably 2. Parking is in short supply everywhere on the island as it is pretty densely packed. The road is busy as it is a main road on the island, and it would help if the bushes were trimmed back from the road for visibility. I slept in the living room (no AC) in 95 degree heat and survived (!), so I would imagine most dogs would as well unless they are made of ice. The rental was not dirty, just "vintage," like old beach houses are - wood paneling and flooring throughout, cute. We walked to the beach and to the shops are restaurants daily and it was so nice not to drive. Also fished on the bay side beach area and checked out the boats. There was some beach gear and also washer/dryer. Rental company was nice, deposit refund 30+ days. Bottom line, with appropriate expectations this is a great rental, but if you want to lounge in a condo watching Netflix and not getting the beach experience, this is not for you, and you will pay accordingly elsewhere.
