This historic 1905 cottage is a wonderful way to experience Bisbee and the charm of the turn of the century. Tastefully decorated with period pieces yet with all the comforts of modern life. This romantic getaway is located less than a mile from Historic Old Bisbee, just a walk away from restaurants and antique stores for you to enjoy. The house has several terraces with privacy gardens and breathtaking views. A peaceful, quite location for you to unwind, relax and appreciate a slower time.
We enjoyed our stay at the painted lady, it was very close driving distance to downtown Bisbee, as well as for day trips to surrounding areas like tombstone. House was clean & comfortable with a really cool outdoor area. Would recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and tidy! Great amenities, great communication. We will definitely try to stay here again if we visit Bisbee again!
This house was excellent! The outside patio and views were amazing and the host was very easy to communicate with. We were easily able to walk into downtown from the house and enjoyed the quite neighborhood.
Our family comes down to Bisbee every year for a vintage baseball tournament at Warren Ballpark and this is our second time staying at this property. We love it here. Super clean and orderly and allows my son to bring his small dog. The owners are very easy to work with and respond very quickly to messages. Great place!!
Just the right balance of historical charm and modern convenience. Beautiful, well-appointed, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. Very close to downtown Bisbee but out of the chaos. We look forward to staying here again.
I reserved this beautiful little house based on the wonderful reviews as Iâm extremely obsessed with cleanliness. I was not disappointed. I would reserve âThe Painted Ladyâ again just to spend time in this perfect little turn of the century gem. The house and decor are from the early 1900âs with all of the high end modern conveniences. The owners are absolutely the best and even left us a bottle of wine as a gift. I hated having to leave. Thank you for a wonderfully memorable family weekend.
The property is exactly as described and thoughtfully appointed. We couldnât have asked for anything else. Being just slightly out of town made it very peaceful especially sitting out on the deck in the afternoon. The steps werenât too bad and street parking was available. I wish we could have stayed another day.
My brother and I really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, fully stocked with supplies, and very charming. The host hosts were very accommodating and responsive. I would definitely recommend this place!
Such a clean, organized, and charming home! We loved each terraced sitting area and made it a point to enjoy them all. The home was perfectly stocked, and extremely comfortable for our family of 4 and pup!
One of our favorite rentals thus far!
Four members of my family stayed here for two nights. We were given very clear instructions about where to park and how to get in. The hosts here were very quick with messaging me back when I had questions. The property itself is beautiful. Everything was very clean and very well equipped. The updated bathroom was appreciated after having stayed at other rentals in the city with gross bathrooms. I would love to go back for another stay. Great experience!!
The Painted Lady in Bisbee is THE place to stay. The location is perfect, just a mile or so down the hill from old town Bisbee. There was safe on-street parking for my (large) car too. The home is fabulous, extraordinarily clean throughout, and the Owners have tastefully appointed it with period-correct furnishings that brings back the past from those many decades ago. We especially liked the trees on the property, situated on three separate levels, allowing just the right sun and shade. There are plenty of chairs and tables on each level, where you can lay out for the sun or just relax in true tranquility. The Painted Lady is not overdone, it's just right and you'll love it if you are appreciative of history. The best of all are the hosts. Very fast response to any of my questions, and they responded to my inquiries within minutes! Outstanding home, and outstanding hosts. I cannot possibly write enough good comments about our experience at The Painted Lady!
We booked The Painted Lady for our short trip to Bisbee to visit the town where I was born and lived in for 12 years! This house is absolutely gorgeous and the owners have done such a beautiful job of restoring it. Everything in it takes you back to the good old days! The furniture and decor are stunning. The pictures donât do it justice!
Besides being beautiful, there is any and everything you need in the house. Our first night, we didnât even have to go to the store as coffee/tea was provided. The attention to detail is exceptional! Communication with the owner was quick and painless. We had concerns about parking our car and weâre assured it would be safe! Iâm happy to say, we had no issues. The area where the house is located is a great location for touring around Bisbee. The view from the porch is wonderful. I canât say enough good things, you will not be disappointed!
Spent 2 days/nights in Bisbee at the lovely Painted Lady. It was exactly as promoted, actually better. So charming. Remodeled but much of the house kept the old country charm. Very nice, large kitchen and bathroom, both completely updated. Multiple terraces for nice views and quiet sitting areas. Even a gas firepit. Fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. No grass, but there is a little park about 1 block away that was perfect. Plenty of street parking in front of the home. We really liked the location. Would be a long walk to Old Town Bisbee, but a 4 minute drive. We liked that it was close but not in the heart of the crowds and traffic. The owners were fantastic. Very communicative and helpful. Offered many recommendations on things to do and where to eat. BTW we tried Banshee Pizza and Taqueria Outlaw, not impressed. Highly recommend the Main Street Bistro and Bisbee Breakfast Club. Some of the best service we've ever had at each of these establishments, and the food was great! And big portions. We recommend the Queen Mine tour and the Saturday Farmers Market in Warren. Next time in Bisbee, we would certainly stay at the Painted Lady. It was just what we needed.
First, the communication and detail given by the owners were exceptional. Before we arrived, we knew everything we needed to know, and the owner labeled everything in the house so you knew where everything was and where it needed to go when leaving. The house is a beautiful mix of historic Bisbee, matched with just enough modern upgrades for a comfortable stay. I will be returning to Bisbee for more adventures, and I won't look anywhere else for a place to stay!
Hi. My name is Bill and my wife is named Ada. Like many people, we fell in love with Bisbee. The people who live in Bisbee are friendly and the town is charming. The downtown area has quaint little shops and great places to eat. We live in the Bisbee home 6 months out of the year to escape the Tucson heat. We love the Bisbee house and hope that you will also. It is in a very desirable location but is still less than a mile from Old Bisbee.
The neighborhood is the best of Bisbee. Quiet, serene, yet located very close to the well-visited downtown area. The house itself is built on the side of the mountain and has several tiers with ample seating and breathtaking views of the Mule Mountains.
The house was refurbished within the past few years and each room was redone, as well as the outdoors portion of the property. While the house maintains a turn-of-the century charm, the kitchen and bathroom were redone to accommodate all the modern conveniences. This house is one-of-a-kind.
