The Inn unit 109 - July 7th-11th 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2 straight year visiting these rental properties for our family/friend vacation. We enjoy the pools that are located right out of our units so we can watch our kids swim from a safe distance. The walk to the beach is a beautiful view.

Perfect family stay!

We loved this place so much! The pool is so close that you can sit on the porch and eat while watching your kiddos in the pool. The beach is perfect and not overcrowded like others. We will definitely be back again!

Dauphin Island Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay on the island! This condo needs some upgrades!I did not feel the room was cleaned!When we got there, it smelled like something was burning. There were tortillas in the oven. The sheets in the master bedroom had sand all in them. We had to wash them before going to bed. Pillows were very very flat! Bring your own pillows and any extra blankets!It is a nice place. We've stayed at the Inn the last 5 years. I do think the condo might need to add more things for the kitchen. Measuring spoons & cups, cutting boards, mixing bowls. Etc. I didn't think we would have to purchase these things. The last couple of rooms we have stayed in had more kitchen supplies! Also, the refrigerator did take two days to cool. My milk and cheese had to be thrown out due to this. Ice maker never turned on!We will be back but, will not use or recommend this condo from the Inn. There are other rooms at the Inn that provide for families to stay! This condo had the bare minimum. We always enjoy our stay! Dauphin Island is our second home!

This time the weather did not want to cooperate and we had some rainy stormy days but we always enjoy the stay. The condos are well furnished and clean and so close to the beach with two swimming pools. This was our fourth visit and we will definitely go back.

This unit has the best access to the pool with it being literally steps from the door and it has a beautiful view of the beach. I would recommend this unit without hesitation and will likely return! We visit DI every year and where we stay varies upon how many family members come along.

Perfect Stay

My family and I really enjoyed this property. It's the second time we've stayed at The Inn. We like to stay on the 1st floor to access the pool directly from the back porch! I accidentally locked our car keys in after we checked out on Sunday and the on-call management was so kind in helping me out after check-out. 10/10 recommend!

Love Dauphin Island!

We have visited and stayed on the island several time and love the small town laid back vibe. There is always something to do. We stayed at The Inn. It was the perfect location, ground floor right infront of the pool which made it convenient with the kids. The kitchen is fully stoced with the basic needs, decent towels, plenty of hot water for us all to shower consecutively. I had to call and ask some questions before arrival and the staff I spoke with were friendly, professional, and helpful. The negative: The condo itself needs some deep cleaning, walking barefooted proved the floors have not been mopped in quite sometime. The rug thing in the livingroom was gross, hard and horrible to walk on. The small bathroom floor is pretty nasty all over. The master bath floor was nasty behind the toilet and around the walls. We put a towel down infront of the tub to step out onto after showering and the bottom of the towel would be dirty from the floor. I was hoping it was just from old grout thats lost its seal. The bedspreads were stained or just not washed ever. The white curtains in the living room are filthy from guests going in and out of the broken sliding glass door. The patio furniture coushions could be cleaned up too. Spare bedroom fullsize bed needs updated also. Maybe they just need a new cleaning crew. Even with all that, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Family friendly!

Loved being on the first floor and that the patio leads right into the pool, so nice with the kids. Fridge took forever to get cold…..we were worried about our groceries. Dishwasher didn’t not wash good so we ended up having to wash by hand the whole time. Otherwise greatly little condo that I’m positive we will go back to!

Perfect location for older and young kids

We stayed in 109 and the gate off our patio to the pool and grill access was a great perk. The pool closes at 9pm a few hung out after hours but noise was not an issue being on the first floor. We had 4 adults and 1 kid. The living room space was a little small and uncomfortable. It would have been night to have something that reclined or foot stools. The 2nd bedroom could use something to place luggage/items on we pulled the stools from the bar to set our stuff on. The 2nd bathroom could use a small shelve on the wall next to the sink to place bathroom essentials on. Overall we we enjoyed our stay we spent most of our time at the beach or in the pool so these small things are just ideas for improvement but would stay here again.

Our experience was fantastic at the In at Dauphin Island! Condo was super clean and the island is a great relaxing vacation spot. Only issue is I messaged the host Tim about a possible early check in or possibly just using the parking lot and enjoying the beach before our check in time and never received a message back. Could possibly be a VRBO error with the message but overall was a great experience!

Great location if you want a quiet relaxing vacation.

Over good, clean, well stocked. Hot water did run out to soon to be able to use jets on the garden tub or for 2 showers back to back. Couple of things could be cleaner such as ceiling fans and drapes. Will stay there again.
