L'emplacement idéal de cette maison vous permet de profiter facilement de tout ce que Denver a à offrir, mais les rues tranquilles bordées d'arbres ont une véritable atmosphère de quartier. Lorsque vous êtes prêt à vous diriger vers les montagnes ou à retourner à l'aéroport, l'autoroute est à moins de cinq minutes.

Construite en 1909 dans un quartier rempli de vieilles maisons, cette maison en brique a encore des boiseries et des fenêtres de traverse d'origine, mais tous les systèmes ont été mis à jour selon les normes modernes. Nous avons meublé la maison avec un mélange de pièces anciennes et d'articles de confort plus récents. C'est le mélange parfait d'ancien et de nouveau!

Avec un salon / salle à manger ouvert et une fenêtre sur la cuisine, il est facile pour tout le monde de se mêler et de socialiser pendant les repas et entre les deux. Le salon dispose également d'un écran plat 40 pouces T. V. et d'un lecteur DVD Blu-ray avec câble de base et d'une petite sélection de films disponibles.

Il y a quelques chaises de patio sur le porche couvert avant, un endroit idéal pour siroter votre café du matin. La cour arrière est une belle oasis privée, parfaite pour se détendre l'après-midi. Il y a un grand gril à gaz pour préparer facilement vos articles de barbecue préférés et une table de patio ombragée pour les repas à l'extérieur. Les enfants adoreront la vaste pelouse verte.

Il y a deux chambres au niveau principal avec une salle de bain partagée. Une chambre a un lit queen et l'autre a deux lits jumeaux. A l'étage, vous trouverez une très grande suite parentale avec un lit queen, une salle de bain 3/4 et un dressing. Niché dans les coins du placard se trouvent un lit pour tout-petits et un futon simple. Nous avons également un pack-n-play et des rails de lit disponibles pour accueillir tout enfant de taille. Notre canapé se retire si vous avez besoin d'encore plus d'espace supplémentaire.

De nos jours, beaucoup de gens prennent des vacances de travail. Nous faisons. Internet sans fil gratuit est inclus et il y a un petit bureau dans la salle à manger ainsi qu'un grand bureau dans la chambre à l'étage.

Le centre-ville de Denver est à seulement 4,8 km avec accès à d'excellents restaurants, terrains de balle, musées, vie nocturne et boutiques fabuleuses. Que vous soyez ici pour une convention, un mariage, un jeu ou tout autre événement, c'est la base idéale pour toutes vos activités.

Si vous êtes intéressé à faire un peu d'exploration, les quartiers d'affaires du quartier ont beaucoup à offrir. Assurez-vous d'explorer Highlands Square, Tennyson Street et LoDo. Il y a des restaurants fantastiques, des boutiques, des antiquités, de l'art et du caractère en abondance.

S'il y a des enfants dans votre groupe, vous voudrez visiter Elitch Gardens ou l'historique Lakeside Amusement Park, le musée des enfants, l'aquarium ou le zoo. Vous vous promènerez peut-être cinq pâtés de maisons à l'est et ferez le tour du parc Chaffee.

Fantastic location, close to downtown Denver but in neighborhood. Close to parks and Catholic church

The house is well supplied with kitchen items and other comforts to make the stay easy. Great for kids with "play room" stroller etc.and nice backyard. Comfy beds. Our stay was perfect.

Perfect city house for young children

We stayed here for six nights and it was perfect for our three kids (4, 2, 6 months). There are toys and sleeping arrangements available for young children and the fenced in back yard is great to play in. This is a perfect location for Denver or mountain activities, we will definitely return!

Charming home that’s easy for the whole family to enjoy

This is our second time staying and again really enjoyed the house. It is amazingly well stocked for babies and kids and makes our travel easy. We loved the garden and patio in the summer- we ate fresh cucumbers and tomatoes all week thanks to jays generosity. The house is charming and spacious - a great base or spot to enjoy your own brunch.

Great stay in a charming home

We had a very comfortable stay at this property. We found it clean, equipped with all the necessities needed for the week that we stayed, and is very conveniently located close to downtown and the major attractions of Denver. An unadvertised bonus is the vegetable garden for use by the guests. Most of all, we found the owner incredibly kind and responsive. Look no further! This is where you want to stay!

An absolute gem in Sunnyside

This house is truly wonderful. Haven’t felt more at home maybe ever?? It’s very homey and cozy. Adorable backyard with an apple and peach tree and garden. Perfect for dinner parties. The house has great original woodwork and feels like a true craftsman home in a way most modern houses do not. The host is very attentive and a good communicator.

Summer in Denver!

The house was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed needed to cook and the rooms were great. Our favorite part of the house was the backyard! It was a great spot to grill and hangout! Jay was incredibly responsive and he was helpful with any questions we had about this house. If you are looking to stay somewhere in Denver, I recommend this house! The neighborhood is great and there are multiple restaurants nearby.

Great place for families!

We enjoyed our stay at Jay's house. The layout of the house is ideal for families with multiple children. Each room had all of the amenities needed to be comfortable and there is a huge backyard with a nice patio area. The home also has lots of kids' toys, books, and other helpful items. The location can't be beat! Close to parks, restaurants, and stores. Jay was very responsive to our needs and we would highly recommend the home to family and friends.

Clean charmer at convenient location

We booked our stay here for my brothers wedding and it ended up working out so well! The house is adorable and has a lot of pluses for people with young kids- access to a stroller, baby bath, baby monitor, kids toys. It really worked out well for our group of 4 adults and 3 young kids. Jay was super helpful before our stay and while we were there, helping us to be able to stay an extra 1/2 hr past checkout which gave us time to give kids one more bath. Overall the stay was great!

Great location

We had a great time visiting in Denver and staying at Sunnyside. It's a great location to anything in Denver. The neighborhood looks a little rough but chatted with a couple of the neighbors and they were all very friendly. Everyone could not have been nicer. Communication with host was exceptional. Very quick response and friendly. We would stay again.

Clean and Convenient.

This is a clean rental in a nice neighborhood.Comfortable beds, and well equipped. Great to have washer and dryer.The large upstairs bedroom with toddler bed worked well for our son 's family, who have a 4 yr old. Parking is a little more crowded at times with the new restaurants walking distance away.

Like staying at your friend's house

This house was perfect for our family of five. Had pretty much everything we needed, kitchen stuff, grill, nice backyard, quiet neighborhood, close enough to major highways, 1 mile to the supermarket, toys and games, etc etc. Can't think of anything else that we needed, so when we come back we will absolutely look to stay here again. Although now everyone will want to stay here so it will be harder for us to rent the next time, ha ha! Thanks for sharing your home!

Traveling with Twins

Jay- was prompt in responding to all my questions. The house was exactly as pictured but with better than expected amenities and perks specially for our 2 yr old twins! Location was great, no more than 10 min drive to grocery, favorite restaurants, aquarium, children's museum which is awesome since our kids don't tolerate car rides😉. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Thanks for sharing your home.

A wonderful home

My wife and I stayed for 7 weeks and LOVED our time. The neighborhood is very nice, and so close to everything. The home is nicely furnished and the upstairs is really a suite with so much extra room. The kitchen is well equipped. We brought some of our favorite pots and pans knowing we'd be there 7 weeks, but never needed them as high quality cookware is ready to use. The front porch was a favorite spot. You'll certainly feel the same way, and the evenings in the back yard with the lights on make a magical feeling. We brought out bikes and rode downtown regularly and followed the Cherry Creek trail and the South Platte trail too. So close to downtown. We will be back for sure. Tom

Perfect!

This home had everything we needed and more. It was clean and comfortable, and more than we could ever ask for. They even had a Pack and Play, a booster seat and anything else that could be thought of for traveling with little ones! Clover was most helpful and promptly answered any questions I could come up with. Also, our deposit for the rental was promptly refunded. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Denver area. The neighborhood was great and we started off each morning with a walk to Starbucks followed by another walk to the Columbia School so the kids could play at the park. During our stay we did as much as possible, and with it's central location, this property helped make it easy to do everything we wanted to do. We also enjoyed eating breakfast burritos at Chickee's Lil Kitchen! I can't say enough about Jay and Clover and their "City House." They really went out of the way to make us feel at home. Should we visit the Denver area again, you can bet this home will be the first place we look at!

Perfect!

Our family visit at this home was was perfect. My daughter and grandchildren (4.7) from Australia joined my husband and I here for our annual visit. The house design gave us privacy as well as great family time. The basement playroom and fenced in, landscaped backyard was perfect for relaxing, cook outs and young children playing . The home was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Everything we could have wanted was there. Grill, washer/dryer, well stocked kitchen, TV, toys, comfy beds, everything. Jay was easy to contact and promptly responsive to questions. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and parking was convenient. I enjoyed my evening walks. It was easy access to highways to explore the area. The cooling system kept the house comfortable day and night and it was hot outside. Highly recommend! It was perfect!

Dentist Reunion

Great experience and the perfect property for our reunion. Not only was the property exactly as advertised, but Jay is an incredible owner/host. He is the most responsive owner we've ever dealt with as he responded to texts in minutes. All appliances worked and the home was very clean. The neighborhood was totally safe with many children and young families walking. The local restaurants, bars and shops are terrific. Our two best meals in the 4 days we were there were within 2 blocks at Bacon and Sunny's. Highly recommended!! My classmates want me to book Broken Spoke for next year!

Jay runs his own home theater business. Our favorite activities are mountain biking and snowboarding in the mountains surrounding Breckenridge and throughout Colorado and Utah. We get back east (NYC, New Jersey) whenever we can to visit friends and family, but our home is here in the beautiful Colorado mountains. Just recently, we've been enjoying Denver so much more!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The winters in Breckenridge get to be a bit long come April and the cabin fever really sets in. We are incredibly fortunate that we were able to purchase a home in the city to broaden our summers and our horizons. The easy access to this neighborhood combined with it's proximity to downtown were probably the biggest draws for us. The house is very welcoming, bright and cheery. The cozy feel of the tree lined streets, the numerous restaurants, and other entertainment options nearby sealed the deal.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love being able to walk out the door and around the corner for breakfast. Every time we are here we try a new restaurant and haven't found one we didn't like. We ride our bikes through the neighborhoods and into LoDo to watch the trains go by. We spend a lot of time just playing in the backyard - tending the garden, sipping lemonade under the patio umbrella, grilling up our favorite meals, and always keeping an ear out for the ice cream truck!
