This âluxury resortâ is terrifying and no where near luxury. We walked through a parking garage to get to our room, through a strange door to get to a hallway with towels in piles outside doors (mind you itâs about 6pm), and a boarded up stairwell. We open our door to our room, but a dresser is blocking it so it only opened about half way. The room smelled of mold, and was very dank. I sat on the bed and it nearly collapsed under me. The security latch on the door was loose and could easily be broken into. We decided we needed to get a drink based on the state of our room, walked down to the only open restaurant, past like 8 feral cats. The restaurant smelled awful, like they hadnât cleaned the fryer or something. We sit outside for a drink trying to figure out what to do, to find piles of cockroaches right next to us. After being assaulted by stray cockroaches on the restaurant deck we decided to take our drinks to go. We walked down to the beach and kept walking to find a drink in a more relaxing environment. After a long trek on the beach we were rescued by a kind hotel manager and wait staff at a hotel north of compass cove. It didnât even matter if we didnât get a refund, they couldnât pay me to stay in that nasty, unsafe room. We left, and will never return to this awful âresortâ.
Knew it would be small and it is, but the bathroom appears to have a mold issue. Otherwise, it was a nice little place for 2 people to stay for a few days.
Friendly Nice Staff and the Check-in process was smooth. Beautiful oceanfront room view. However, the constant mildew smell, overall cleanliness of room and poor condition of bathroom and kitchen stove was disappointing Requested for maintenence to address some of the basic issues multiple times during our duration there. However, it was never addressed properly during our entire stay. The room and bathrooms and appliances requires renovations. Recommendations is to replace the mildew carpet floor with tile and to address deficiencies seen wirhin the pics.
Visited for my daughters graduation celebration. Location was absolutely perfect - 10 minute drive from the airport, restaurants and tons of entertainment minutes away. With airport being right there we were expecting some noise but couldn't hear anything, even from the beach only heard planes a small number of times and they didn't bother us at all. Furniture and rugs could use replacing but everything was kept clean. Staff was great too. We will definitely return - thank you!
It was not bad for the price, your not in north Myrtle. The beach was amazing and right off the room. Everyone was polite. Its a place to stay for sleeping and wasnât to bad
We had a blast while staying here. The room was clean. The only little hickup was we didn't have a shower curtain when we arrived but called housekeeping and got a shpwer curtain first thing the next morning. We slept on the inside of the room ( not balcony) and our bed was soft. We loved all the pools on the premises and the life size checkers and chest games. We enjoyed our stay.
This property has so much to offer from multiple dining options just in the resort. numerous swimming pools, hottubs, and lazy rivers. The tiki bar was awesome.. if youâre trying to have a great time one of the rum buckets in the way Togo but the âlava lampâ or the âmudslideâ are so so good! There was entertainment from a poolside DJ who interacted with his crowd AMAZING to karaoke. Not to mention how itâs just steps away to the beach with amazing views from your room as well. I 10/10 will be back again I loved it here!
The person who checked us in gave us wrong directions as to where to park and to elevator. Ended up walking around in thecdark with luggage trying to find correct elevator. Ended up back by lobby to get better directions. Should have been told we could park on same floor as room. Room was ok, very drab looking, could use a paint job, carpet very worn. Ocean front room was good. Front bedroom heater was noisy, people on the other side of hallway on their balconies voices very load due to echoing of the parking garage. On site restaurant does breakfast buffet, not included, we dont like buffets so asked for recommendation from lobby staff. She looked at us like we were crazy and suggested the waffle house. Did not have any opportunity to use amenities but walk by fitness room and it looked pretty good.
