Amazing Location on the North end of the island in a quiet neighborhood, VIEWS OF THE GULF, 1 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH, and PRIVATE BACKYARD POOL! Minutes from all the popular restaurants, Margaritaville Resort, Times Square, Lani Kai, Beach Bar and the Tiki Bar! Enjoy Awesome Sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico on the beach from public access located right at the end of our street.

Salty Air Retreat is fully updated with a fun, beachy vibe and we can easily accommodate up to 8 guests with 2 spacious living areas and private heated pool. Our backyard oasis features full sun throughout the day for enjoying sun-filled days swimming, or relaxing after a day at the beach! We provide all that you need for beach day adventures - you'll find beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and a beach buggy to haul all your gear - available for guest use. Salty Air Retreat is perfect for family vacations and couples' retreats - just bring your swim suits & sunscreen and ENJOY YOUR STAY!

The main living area opens to the kitchen and has 2 reclining couches and lazy boy chair with 55-inch flat screen HDTV. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless appliances, dishwasher, and all the items necessary for preparing a home-cooked meal or family barbecue. This beach house has a king size bed in the master suite with queen size beds in 2 additional bedrooms plus a daybed with trundle and sleeps up to 8 guests. The master bedroom suite has a private bathroom, walk in closet and TV. Upgraded bathrooms include tile showers and a tub. High speed Wi-Fi internet is provided and we have 5 flat screen televisions in the home. There is an upper level screened in lanai/outdoor area with seating and dining for up to 8 people. The lower level has a family room with TV, kitchenette and dining area for six located directly off the pool area which also has a gas grill. In-home washer and dryer is located on first floor and available for guest use. Interior entry from ground level. This home has everything to offer for a family or group of up to eight.

Our property is locally owned and owner-operated to ensure the utmost care and personal service is provided to all of our guests. The minimum age to rent is 30 years old. If you're younger than 30 please reach out to discuss your scenario - rare exceptions may be granted.

We welcome furry friends - up to 2 dogs with payment of a $125 pet fee, no breed restrictions. This is a non smoking residence. For guest safety and property security, two cameras are located on the exterior of our property and will collect information at arrival and throughout your stay. From our ideal north-end location, take a quick walk north to Times Square for dining & activities or drive south to Lover’s Key Beach and beyond to Bonita Springs and Naples. From off-shore fishing excursions to boat & jet skiing rentals, kayaking nature tours, and even parasailing nearby, water sports enthusiasts will find plenty of adventures here! From Fort Myers Beach take a short drive or boat ride to Sanibel Island, Pine Island, Captiva Island and beyond. Southwest Florida is home to Major League Baseball Spring Training - catch a Boston Red Sox or Minnesota Twins game at our local stadiums.

Nice house and location

My husband and I stayed for 5 days/4 nights. The house was a nice house & updated very well from Hurricane Ian. Our hosts were very friendly, and quick to respond. We only had one issue with the microwave not working, which was fixed. There was plenty of room in each room in the house. The master shower was a bit small, but very nicely tiled, but we also had 2 other bathrooms to choose from that had larger showers. The only complaint we had was with the temperature we had to leave the thermostat at. It could not be turned down past 72. My husband & I usually keep our own home at 70. This may not seem like a big difference, but when it's 94 outside during the day, and 82 at night, it got a bit stuffy in the house, and made it hard to sleep because we were both hot. The upstairs didn’t cool as well as the downstairs. Overall, we would stay here again.

Relaxing stay

Place is great for a family to stay - plenty of room, pool and walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook and grill, and plenty of gear for enjoying the beach (umbrella, chairs, cart, cooler, sand buckets/toys, towels)

Amazing home

My husband, his cousin and I spent 10 days at A Salty Retreat. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. It had everything you needed to enjoy your vacation, from kitchen supplies to beach wagon and chairs. The location was a short walk to restaurants and the beach. Lauren was helpful and great to work with. Will definitely stay here when we return to Fort Meyers Beach.

Paradise by the Beach

This paradise is a wonderful place to stay.....location..location...location. you don't have to deal with beach traffic as it is a minute walk to the sandy, beautiful beach. Short walk to Time square and Margaritaville. The beach wss hopping but not crowded even if the water was chilly. Lots of outdoor restaurants and beach bars and music filled the air. You can see the destruction fron the hurricane but there is plenty to do. We went Lover's Key park, Lakes park, Dolphin sunset cruise, pirate cruise. Walks on beach early in morning and moonlight walks as well. Lauren was the perfect host. She was very accommodating and even answered out call on Christmas day when the pool wasn't running. She walked me through how to reset timer and came out next day to check on it. The kitchen is well equipped as we ate most of our meals there. She provided luxurious towels for beach, pool and shower. Cooler, beach toys, chairs and beach wagon made our daily walk to the beach very enjoyable. The backyard with heated inground pool and palm trees was like a private resort.

Hi - I’m Lauren McCabe, and I can't wait to welcome you to our Beach House! Our family calls Southwest Florida home, and I’ve been playing in the sand and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico since I vacationed on Fort Myers Beach with my family as a child. We love to start our mornings at Salty Air Retreat with a walk on the beach, savoring the salty air and picking shells with a cup of coffee in hand. We usually end our beach days on a blanket in the sand, watching the most beautiful sunsets over the Gulf.

Our family loves spending time together at Salty Air Retreat - we hope you'll stay at our place, and love it as much as we do!

We love our slice of beachy paradise - we’re close enough to be just a short walk from Fort Myers Beach’s Times Square with restaurants and shops, and we’re far enough away that our place is a peaceful retreat. But the best part of our location is that you can see the beach and the Gulf from our front door - less than a block from door to sand!
