Or adventures to Tahquamenom Falls, Shipwreck Museum, Crisp Lighthouse and Whitefish Point for fun. Lots of snow for winter snowmobiles, snow shoe, cross country skiing! Start your getaway in Paradise on the bluff. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our second time here did not disappoint. It is the perfect get away & so completely tranquil with the view of Lake Superior from the back deck, Lake access that allowed us to snorkel & swim and now there are kayaks to use, which made the trip that much more wonderful. I napped in the hammock everyday & ate Lake Superior Whitefish every night. Itâs our favorite cabin in the UP. Side note - Host, Jason, is awesome!
Great location, we were able to visit the falls, whitefish point and the bear ranch with short drives. Great views and a nice new dock, my kids swam in the bay multiple times.
We absolutely loved our stay! The views were incredible and location was perfect. The house was very clean and had everything we could have needed. We hope to come back in the near future. The host was very responsive when contacted. Thank you for a great stay!!!!
For starters, we had the misfortune of arriving at the end of the hurricane, so the area was pretty unsettled. In spite of that we managed to have a wonderful time in the spacious home. We would be happy to go back again in a more tranquil setting.
Perfect spot for a few quiet days on the shore of Lake Superior with family. Hosts are quick to respond and very helpful. Even though it's not isolated, you feel like it is because of the trees.
Great location for taking in sites in the eastern UP. Perfect accommodations for me and my 2 nieces, though sharing one bathroom was slightly challenging. The beds were comfy, the living room was cozy and the kitchen well stocked with dishes. A highlight of the property is the deck on Lake Superior which proved to be ag great spot to watch the community fireworks. Thanks for sharing your home!
Jason was a great host, insuring snow was plowed and room to park snowmobile trailer. The location close to town and snowmobile trails was perfect. The house was clean and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The views of the sunrise over the lake were outstanding. We are already starting to plan a return visit.
Paradise Lost? Nope, found a slice of Paradise at this perfect little 2-bedroom home. Very well stocked kitchen and a fireplace makes it a very special place. The view is over the top, and you can almost see the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald from the front porch. Can not say enough nice things about this place - including a very nice neighbor that help me out with a battery jump - thank you.
Erin and Jason were amazing hosts and even offered to lead us to a beach we had never been able to find. Their house was open with spacious views of Lake Superior yet cozy and warm. My favorite room is the kitchen! We will definitely be back and bring our kiddos! A weekend just wasn't long enough! Thank you, Jason and Erin!
Our stay in Paradise was just that, Paradise!
We were blown away by the spectacular views from the patio & especially the private dock with access to the lake. My daughter swam, we fished & sunbathed, it was wonderful.
The views at night, watching the moon rise over the lake were absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for more.
The property owner was so kind and easy to communicate with. Very prompt with responses and we had no issues.
The home was clean & lovely decorated, with every amenity you could need from streaming services to a huge variety of board games to towels and bedding.
Everything worked properly and we were in need of nothing.
Thank you for a fantastic stay!
Great little house by the lake when mosquitos arenât active
The first week that we stayed there was absolutely lovely! The house is cute and the views were amazing. At the beginning of the second week, it got quite warm and there were HUNDREDS of mosquitos IN the house. (We had not left windows or doors open.) Neither we nor VRBO could get in contact with the owner.
This was a beautiful and cozy place to stay in Paradise. The kitchen had everything we needed. And coffee out on the deck was so peaceful with great views. The living area cozy. Far enough off the road that you didn't here the cars much. The only downside is that the owner accidentally double booked the first night of our stay and we didnât find out until 2 days before, which meant we were scrambling for alternatives. It also would also have been nice to have the fire pit in a better spot so we could enjoy it while looking out at the water. It was sort of tucked away in a weird spot so we didnât end up using it.
I was unable to use the property and had to cancel
I found out on Aug 5th that I had a family situation with my father who was in a rehab center and I was advised that he would need to be discharged the week of Aug 12th - so I let the owner know that I would not be able to use the rental - I guess I was too late to cancel the rental I sent the owner a message and advised them of my situation and asked if they would consider and potential of which no one replied I was not able to get anyone else to use the rental so I was just out the $1,100 that was paid I realize it was unfortunate I could not go and now Im out the money for a vacation I was not able to take thansk Beth Naber
Had a great time staying in august. No flies, weather was perfect the whole week, and hour or less drive to tons of things to see and do. House was great with Lake Superior just out the back. Highly recommend if planning a vacation to the UP.
