Mix things up with a stay at the Salty Lime Villa #2, a contempory, tropical retreat! It's more than just a place to stay, it's a place to experience! With beautiful views of the Manatee River and situated steps from Mineral Springs Park and the 3 mile long Bradenton Riverwalk, you have quick access to fishing, dining, shopping, beaches, gardens, and historical sites. This newly updated villa is one bedroom (with queen size bed) one bath with walk in tiled shower and fully functional stocked kitchen. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The front patio has stunning views of the mile wide Manatee River. The back patio has a fabulous garden view complete with palm trees and a century old Live Oak Tree with babbling waterfall underneath. Head out back to walk the gardens, sit by the waterfall, nap on the hammock, or take a dip in the heated pool (the pool is shared with 2 other villas). While sitting out back, you can read a book, listen to the birds, watch the abundant butterflies, lizards and dragonflies or play cards/boardgames. If you bring your well behaved pup along, Fido will definitely enjoy the fenced in dog area in the back yard - complete with toys and lots of grass for him to roll around on! While outside, you may detect the faint smell of oranges in the air (we're close to Tropicana)! You will enjoy walking through Mineral Springs Park complete with a spring, boardwalk, fishing pier, big trees and observation tower. You can see manatees, dolphins, sting rays, sharks, pufferfish, crabs and much more! The fishing is awesome here and you have your own grill to bbq whatever you catch. If you'd rather dip your toes in the sand, head over to Anna Maria Islands beaches. It's a quick 15 minute drive from the villa. You will love the sugary sand, turquoise waters and breathtaking sunsets. Another option is to eat and shop on Bradenton's Main Street, right off the riverwalk. Or check out Bridge Street on Anna Maria Island which also has many shops and old Florida charm. Plus it's close to many attractions such as the Manatee Village Historical Park, Bishop Museum, Lecom Park, IMG Academy, Village of the Arts, Mote Aquarium, various nature preserves and the most beautiful beaches in the US. After you enjoy your day doing whatever makes you smile, unwind by watching the gorgeous sunsets over the river from your villa. Once the sun is down, the yard is illuminated by twinkling lights so you can continue to enjoy the outside space.
