About this space
Spotlessly clean, comfortable, family-friendly and roomy apartment with a private entrance. We offer 2 bedrooms with queen beds, pull out sofa, inflatable bed, a fold-up padded cushion bed for children, a portable crib, and a wall of toys for the kids! The full bathroom is accessible via the main BR and the living space. Close to Medstar Washington Hospital Center, restaurants, shops, & the Metro. Quick trips to the White House, the National Mall, museums, universities and Nats Park!
The space
You'll enjoy a full kitchen, free washer/dryer and plenty of space to stretch out and relax!

Feel free to use the small lower patio area but not the upper part of the deck - thanks!

The accommodations are exactly as advertised. Location is very convenient to everything with eateries and grocery stores within walking distance.

This was a great homebase to explore the city and had everything we needed. Very clean. Great central location. Communication was great! The hosts were amazing!

Everything was great. The property is clean, we felt safe in the neighborhood, and Arty was extremely communicative and helpful. Our kids loved the toy wall and we were able to walk to multiple places nearby including restaurants, grocery stores, the zoo, and the metro. We would definitely stay again!

Great place in a great neighborhood!

We rented this place for a week during April. We arrived to a welcome basket of goodies and a welcome note from the hosts. The place was clean and well maintained. We loved the neighborhood and the restaurant recommendations were spot on. I highly recommend dining at Thip Khao!

Great place to stay in DC!

Our family stayed here for a week while visiting DC. The location was great; just a short 8-10 min walk to the subway station. Also have a CVS nearby for any snacks or toiletries you might need. I loved how quiet the area is. Much better than staying at a hotel in the city and dealing with a bunch of noise. The hosts are fantastic, and the place has lots of extras. We loved having the kitchen as well as the washer/dryer.

Wonderful everything

This was a wonderful stay. Everything as advertised - we had space for all of us - two of us and our kid my mom.The sofa in the living room was very comfortable. I can tell, that the beddings for our bed were so comfortable, I even slept better than at home - this does not happen usually.The location was also great. 10 minutes away from the Metro. Lidl was conveniently located next to it. Hosts were very kind and responsive. Hope we can be back one day.

D.C. Getaway

Great property in an awesome part of town. We had access to every amenity that we needed and were very comfortable. We were close, walking distance to several restaurants and we were about a 7-10 min walk to the Metro which made it easy to park our car when we got there and left it there until we checked out.

Awesome DC stay

If youre traveling to DC with kids, this is the place to stay! Stop looking elsewhere and BOOK IT! Super clean, packed with amenities, great water pressure in shower, very convenient location to get anything, seeing the sites was a breeze- Bonnie and Arty (hosts) are fantastic - very welcoming and informative of things to do, places to visit and delicious dining!!

Perfect DC pick

This place was wonderful and the hosts could not have been more accommodating. We were in town for the DC half marathon, and the location worked so well for us. The neighborhood is great and groceries and food are just a few minutes walk away..if we run the race again next year, we will absolutely book again!

Walkable neighborhood and cute place

Perfect spot for the 3 of us. Nearby restaurants and shopping. Close to our son who lives nearby. The hosts were communicative and friendly when we interacted. Good secure location! We had everything we needed. Thank you Arty, We will definitely stay again when we come back to DC.

DC in December!

Nice quick family trip to see the sights and decorations for Christmas. Took the subway, bus and Lyft wherever we went. Apartment was perfect for our needs. Clean, quiet, comfortable, safe, street parking and great hosts. Close to everything. No issues at all. We had everything we needed for our stay. We would absolutely stay again in the future. Thank you.

Delightful Stay

This is my second time staying here. Arty and Bonnie are wonderful hosts. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. Very clean and well maintained. Nice neighborhood. It’s very comfy and cozy! Likely to stay here again later in the year when we return to DC for our daughter’s wedding.

Kids didn’t want to leave!!!

The photos are an absolutely perfect depiction of the beautiful apartment- the thought and care put into the apartment is perfectly evident. You’re about a 10-15 minute walk from the Metro station, maybe 15 minutes from a grocery store, and a max of 10 minutes from nearby restaurants. My kids absolutely LOVED the wall of toys and had a blast playing with all of them. The kitchen was very well stocked with a Keurig and a drip coffeemaker, pots and pans, microwave, pantry staples, snacks, bottled water
 The beds were super comfortable but to be fair we were all pretty exhausted by the end of each day, ha! Communication was a breeze with Arty, they even popped out on their deck to say hello when we first checked in. Checking out was simple and clear- all in all I wish every place was just like this. We hope to revisit in the future.

Good apt for small group

Communication with Arty was great - he was very responsive and gave us all the information we needed for our check-in and departure, and responded right away when I asked about a couple additional items. We had no problem finding parking right in front of the house. Getting down to the entryway was a somewhat tight squeeze, but not an issue. The place was super clean and the A/C just right. I stayed here with my two daughters, ages 12 & 17, and even though most of the toys were for younger kids, my 12-y-o still had lots of fun playing with them! Having the washer & dryer in the unit was wonderful, and I was very appreciative to have detergent and dryer sheets supplied. And it was a quick walk to the Metro, which we took advantage of most days. Also a quick walk to grocery & Target so we could stock up on food.There are only a couple of cons / suggestions: - More forks, spoons and bowls would be helpful. We found we were running out of them after only one day, and had to run a load in the dishwasher before it was full. - For the overhead lighting, there's only one switch that controls all the lights, so it's all or nothing everywhere except the bedroom and entryway. Would be great to have dedicated overhead or under cabinet lighting for the kitchen / sink area. - The area around the closest Metro station (which also is where the Target and Lidl are) felt a little bit sketchy in the afternoons and evenings.Overall, I would recommend this property.

Super Unterkunft fĂŒr einen Kurztrip noch Washington

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und hatte alle wichtigen Dinge, die man fĂŒr einen Kurztrip braucht. Auf WĂŒnsche wurde direkt eingegangen! Lediglich Kleinigkeiten und die Lage haben einen Punkt Abzug gebracht. Wie wĂŒrden jederzeit wiederkommen :)
