Ce magnifique et lumineux condo de 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain est situé au 3ème étage (dernier étage) avec une vue imprenable et un cadre calme et isolé. Le condo dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert avec une cuisine mise à jour et toute l'observation de la faune que vous pourriez espérer dans votre nouvelle cour! Spanish Cay D5 est l'endroit idéal pour profiter de vacances abordables et inoubliables avec un accès rapide à la plage situé juste en face de la rue!

Les équipements du condo incluent: 2 chambres / 2 salles de bains - 1 lit Queen size, 2 lits jumeaux et un canapé-lit (6 personnes), 3 télévisions à écran plat, lecteur DVD, câble gratuit et WIFI, piscine commune chauffée, piscine dans la suite et laveuse , cuisine entièrement équipée, pas d'ascenseur disponible. Animaux interdits. Draps et serviettes de bain inclus. Cette unité est fournie avec des chaises de plage, des serviettes de plage et un parasol.

Great Property at a Great Location

Loved the condo. Clean and all of the comforts of home. All the kitchen appliances, gadgets, pots, pans and utensils that you need for cooking. Friendly residents too.

We found the condo vert clean and the kitchen well supplied with every kitchen tool you will need. Always love spending time on the lanai and sitting poolside visiting with the other residents. Local of the condo is great for beach access and biking.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed: the location of the unit within the complex (which itself was clean and well-cared for); the owner-neighbors were so very kind and friendly; a clean pool with average water temps of 85 - 87 degrees; the kitchen was well-appointed; many many towels were provided, as well as beach towels. The bike trail was adjacent to the complex, which we appreciated, since we brought our own bikes and rode them a lot. This complex is a short 5-minute walk to a very pretty, and relatively quiet, stretch of the beach. I gave the unit a "4" for cleanliness (rather than a "5") because the laundry room, which doubled as a store room, could have used a good sorting out and cleaning). All other areas were spotless.

Sanibel Condo

We really enjoyed our stay we did have a couple things that could’ve been better. The king size bed was not the best bed to be sleeping on for two weeks. The sheets wouldn’t even stay on the king size bed and that was a real issue. We really like the location and the size of the condo it was very nice. It was very nice with all the kitchen supplied the way it was with all the dishes and silverware. We did book on short notice and we’re very pleased with being able to get it quickly.

March on Sanibel

My husband and I stayed at the Spanish Cay for the month of March. The condo was pretty much what you see in the pictures. It was great having the canal view. We sat and watched the wildlife each morning and afternoon. The beach is just a 5 min walk across the street. So convenient. There is also a nice pool at the condo. The location was perfect. Right on the bike path and close to everything. There is a place to lock up your bikes and there are beach chairs to use. The condo itself was ok. The kitchen was well stocked with all that you need. However, the beds and furniture were not comfortable but we were rarely in the condo so it was not a big problem for us. For the money spent though, it would have been nice to have decent beds to sleep in. I would stay at this condo again.

Great location and comfortable condo

This was the first time we used VRBO and first extended stay in Sanibel. We were not disappointed on either count. The location of the condo was a very short walk to the gulf. The bike path is right out the front door. The Middle Gulf Rd. Area makes most of the restaurants and groceries a 5 minute drive away. Our condo was very clean and had all the amenities you would need. The carpeting and furniture was a bit dated and could use some replacement but nonetheless was a great place to spend a month.

We return every year because the residents there are like our second family and they have a very social low key program that involves all the renters and residents.The view from the Lanie of the river, to us, is captivating and sitting out there trying to read is made difficult by the constant parade of alligators and other wildlife. A distraction that is welcome.Another bonus is that the pool is never overcrowded and the pool furniture is new.Every year the condo gets small upgrades which makes it better and more comfortable.I must this year give Sanibel Vacations 10 stars because being from Canada we had to leave 4 weeks early because of border closings and Rob Pailes and company handled our situation with compassion and great thoughtfulness.If anybody is thinking of renting in Florida I would suggest you check Sanibel Vacations FIRST.

Beautiful Getaway

The best part is the screened in porch looking out onto the water watching the birds, fish and alligators. Very quiet and peaceful. Overall the condo was nice. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at Spanish Cay D5. The condo is comfortably furnished, nice and quiet, has a lovely calming view from the porch, well lit bathrooms with attractive details, comfortable master bed and living room sofa. The kitchen is adequate, although it could use a few more glasses and mugs. SBL were easy to deal with and left us lovely welcome gifts to greet us upon arrival. My only suggestion to them might be to have a better lock on their night box and an outside light illuminating the lock. Sanibel gets really dark at night. The pool area was always pretty quiet and the residents we did meet were welcoming and friendly. We rented bikes and used them daily plus we did lots of walking. The walk to the beach from Spanish Cay is easy and the miles of bike trails on the island are great. We recommend this condo highly.

But exterior maintenance work including sanding, drilling, breaking up concrete stairs directly outside the door throughout the stay was a nightmare. However, this property management company bent over backwards to help us- giving us an alternative place to stay and a discount.Rob Pelas (and Charley) could not have been any nicer. This was an unexpected event that they nor us knew about in advance. We will be back

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spanish Cay is a very quiet friendly condo complex that is located 4 minutes from the beach. Every Thursday they have a happy hour for the residents as a meet and greet, which is very good for renters as the residents are very friendly. The pool is never busy like some of the bigger resorts. We think one of the biggest attractions is the lanai which overlooks the Sanibel River. One can view the alligators, cormorant fishing,snake birds, turtles, iguanas, pelicans diving and many other birds in their natural habitat while having coffee and meals. The beach access leads to a section of beach that is also quiet and not busy.Overall a perfect location to stay and enjoy Paradise.

Nice place with a few glitches

Reviewer Comments: We have spent several vacations in a different Spanish Cay unit which we preferred, but is no longer available. We like to have a small dining table on the lanai and had to use a card table, alongside the two armchairs and ottomans. A bit crowded. This time we had problems with the microwave plug, missing tools in kitchen and light bulbs out. Paper supplies were inadequate. Sometimes it took more than a day sometimes to get help. This unit cost $400 more than our previous one, so I guess our previous owner spoiled us.

A beautiful place to stay and play

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The island is a very welcome change. It is family friendly and peaceful. The beaches are beautiful and rich in history. We enjoyed reading about the history of the island where and why the name came to be. I enjoy the pride the store owners take in the shops as well as for the area in which they live and serve.
