Emplacement exceptionnel ici à Glaciers Reach! Cette maison de ville de plain-pied est située dans un beau complexe directement en face de la place du marché IGA. Sur la route de la navette gratuite vers la télécabine, et à quelques pas de la promenade du village de Whistler, des restaurants, des boutiques et de la vie nocturne dans le village de Whistler.

Everything is great about this place. It is as advertised. Location is truly ideal. One drawback is it is not a place where you want to relax and unwind with the family. There is no really central space where you feel comfortable relaxing/cooking and having family time. If you are looking for a great crash pad right beside the village this is it. Really enjoyed our stay.

very nice place to stay for skiing

Many positives about this accommodation. For starters, it is right across the street from the #4 free shuttle stop that takes you to Whistler transit exchange (base of Whistler). There is also a great grocery store just a stone's throw away. Also nearby is the start of the village stroll, taking you through the heart of Whistler. So you have the peace and quiet of being separated from the village, while having it right there. You can park and forget about your car. The staff at reception are very helpful. Everything was set when I arrived, and when I accidentally left behind some important things after check out, they were very helpful in making sure I got them back. When I called, they picked up on the first ring--no cumbersome leaving of messages and delayed call backs. The accommodation itself is more than adequate. The second bedroom is a little small, but having two bathrooms eased any crowding issues. We used the private hot tub every day. The kitchen, though small, is better equipped than any I've stayed in, with all the utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. a normal home kitchen would have. Parking is convenient. The room is a little worn, with missing moulding in the kitchen and some banged up places, but by no means as bad as some places I've stayed. Cleaning was good, but could have been better. Without going into too much detail, the toilet needed another going over before we arrived and some sweeping behind one of the chairs, where there was also a champagne cork. Both kitchen and bath had all the soap, shampoo, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, etc. we needed for a week, without having to ask for more. That sounds like a no brainer, but I've stayed places that left only, say, one dishwasher pod for our week's stay. It was a hassle to have to ask for more. In short, I'd definitely stay here again and I am impressed with the responsiveness of iTrip Whistler, the property management outfit.

I don't usually give a bad review, and overall this condo was "fine." though It had lots of deferred maintenance; trim falling off, scuffed-up doors, and holes in walls. All of that I can look past. Here is what needs work:1. only 9 hangers!! no place to hang wet snow gear, we had 4 people.2. the pillows were horrible... lumpy, oversize, hard... we found 2 decent pillow. however bed was comfortable.3. The pots and pans were missing lids, and had burnt food stuck on the bottoms and kitchen knives were DULL.4. No scrubby sponge for the kitchen ( probably why pans had burnt on food that couldn't be removed... )4. No place to store our own food.. just piled on the little counter space there was.5. There was a horrible low droning noise that was always on.. I suspect it was the hot tub on the balcony above the unit.. It was loudest back in the bedrooms.. 6. There was only one 18" long towel rack in the bathroom... no place to hang wet towels, unless you only have 1 person per bathroom. Is it so much to ask that you put some hooks in?? or another towel bar at least? I'm generally pretty laid-back, but I kept getting frustrated in this unit because I had no place to put "stuff." I wouldn't rent this unit again. I've stayed in nicer places for the same money or less, with just as good of a location. they need to step up their rental game.

Broken dishwasher

The condo was fine. It could use an update on dishes and glassware. There was no hair dryer, that would have been nice. Some cracks in floor and baseboards. One broken kitchen cupboard. Patio was dirty and not nicely kept up. The dishwasher was not working when we got there so I contacted the property manager. He sent someone the next day who looked at it for 30 min before deciding he had no idea. We ended up going out to eat more than I wanted because I really didn’t want to spend my short vacay washing dishes

Quiet location

A girlfriend and i stayed there for 3 nights. It was very nice to each have our own bedroom and bathroom. I can't imagine 6 people staying there however. Its smaller than it seems in the picture and living room seating really only accommodates seating for 3 or 4 unless they sit at the kitchen table. A few updates to the furniture would be a nice touch. ( chips in the tables etc). We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go but it is at the north end of the stroll. Hot tub was very nice and the beds comfortable but I think it's time for new pillows... all in all we enjoyed our stay. We didn't cook so can't weigh in on the kitchen.

Whistler in April

We really enjoyed our stay at glaciers reach! The unit was just as described and the hot tub at the end of a ski day was a perfect way to unwind. Shuttle stop to the lift is a short walk. We will be back :)

Great location near the Village

We enjoyed this unit at Glacier's Reach. It was exactly as listed, comfortable, and clean. It was everything we needed as a family of four with our dog, very easy access to the Village, as well as the bus to the lifts/base, as the stop is just across the street. We have stayed at a number of units at Glacier's Reach and would stay in this one again. The unit does not get a lot of natural light, but we enjoyed the hot tub and the proximity to trails. Overall an excellent stay!

Great base for skiing, walk to the lifts, hot tub apres!

This townhome/apartment in Glacier's Reach makes a perfect base camp for skiing in Whistler. The fireplace and hot tub are incredible after a long day! The house is roomy and well-equipped. Glacier's Reach is a bit longer walk than staying right in the Village, but it's a pleasant one, and that also means it's quieter and parking is easier. You can't go wrong staying here, and we hope to come back!

Very dissapointing

Just writing a review on our recent stay at Glacier Reach Townhome Unit 38. We arrived from the Okanagan and the condo was so hot, around 85-90 degrees, there were air conditioners (that were so loud we couldn't sleep with them on) in the bedrooms but we had 2 kids on the pull out couch and it was so hot they couldn't sleep. Also there was a terrible chemical smell in the condo, we tried to leave the doors open to air it out but again it was so hot. We notified the property manager and they offered to re-clean the place but they didn't come to do it. The bathrooms were dingy, not much cutlery or kitchen supplies, and there was still a dryer going with laundry in it when we arrived at 4pm and housekeeping came in while we were checked in. I had senior parents with me and was concerned the smell was toxic and put them up in a hotel. When I asked about cancelling my booking or any refund so we could all move into a hotel they said it was too short notice, but we were genuinely concerned about our health from the smell. We would have gone home but our city had a huge fire and most people we knew were evacuated and loosing their houses so our house was filled with evacuees.

The unit is looking tired & old. The common pool is very small for the amount of units. For the price, in my opinion wasn’t worth it

An okay stay

The location is very close to the village which was very convenient. Unfortunately, the apartment is quite outdated. The carpets were stained and there were quite a few scuffs on walls and some furniture. In addition, it wasn’t very clean. Some furniture had dust on it and there were towels that had stains. There were also outdoor patio stones and dirty cardboard being stored under the master bed.

Great location

We enjoyed our visit, beds were comfortable, and within walking distance of Whistler Village. It's probably time to remove carpets, as they looked dirty, but with pet friendly, to be expected but vinyl flooring would be a better option.

Unit had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Check-in was easy and communication with Bob and Reception services was great. They arranged for an early check-in time for us, which was greatly appreciated.
