Steps from here, the full kitchen is any chef's delight with its granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, center island, and nifty gadgets like a Keurig. Off the kitchen, you will have access to a washer/dryer.

No one's comfort goes unattended to in each of the bedrooms, complete with private TVs, soft linens, and central air.

Back outside, enjoy marvelous sunset views from the wrap-around balcony and rooftop deck. Al fresco meals can be enjoyed under the warm glow of the twinkle lights, and reading sessions can be conducted in the hammock. A tennis court and pool are available just steps from your stay. We had the best week! Perfect weather!! Beautiful home in a wonderful location. Nice walks to the beach, tennis or pickleball courts! We’ve stayed here many times and always look forward to coming back again. Thank you for helping make our vacation one to cherish and remember.

Dissatisfied

Standards and cleanliness did not meet the standards of the rental price paid. Filthy furniture, kitchen cabinets and drawers were full of crumbs and grease. Broken trash cabinet with exposed pipes behind it. Gummy bears stuck to chairs and deck floor. Broken outside furniture, screens and upstairs deck door was off tracks. When we arrived the upstairs sink was clogged. The refrigerator and freezer were not working correctly. It’s a good location but very disappointed on the lack of cleanliness and upkeep of the property.

Pros and some cons

It is a beautiful and comfortable house, we especially appreciated the comfortable beds and we used and enjoyed the side porch everyday. Lots of open space, easy walk to the beach and tennis courts. There were some issues on check in. Despite inquiring ahead regarding getting into the gated entrance, we received no guidance and needed to wait at the gate while someone from Vacasa was called - it took 20 minutes to confirm. We can appreciate things breaking with so many guests, but for the amount of money charged we did not expect the following issues: The upstairs handrail is broken at one contact point and could pull off easily with a firm grip and cause a fall so a repair is needed. We noticed it and did not use the handrail. Kitchen: The garbage disposal did not work and standing water would not drain unless we used the plunger - which we did everyday. Maybe you could supply more than 1 thin dishtowel, and supply a full dishsoap bottle (ours was nearly empty), Master BR - closet door handles falling off. No trash can Upper kids bedroom, in which an adult also slept. Broken shade screen in front of deck door so that light filled the room at sunrise and interfered with sleeping in. It would be helpful to have a full curtain or shade. The lamp had no lightbulb I still gave a 4 star because the house really is lovely, but those issues were unexpected and we felt should have been fixed. Thanks

Overall we loved the property. It was not cleaned fantastically before our arrival. It would be nice to have a few more hand towels in the bathroom and kitchen towels. It would have been handy to have some tupperware in the kitchen too. We went through a lot of foil with leftovers. The space is great and we love the screened in porch!

Never received bands for entry into pool we paid for even after several calls and texts.Refrigerator had food stuck on shelves, clear Keurig reservoir still had water in it. Had to be cleaned. Kitchen cabinets had coffee stains dripping down.Master Bed had no bottom sheet. Upstairs bed had sand between sheets. Upstairs tub was dirty.Location of home was great for beach access. Except for cleaning issues home was nice.

Disappointed

The location of this house was ideal for the beach access and pool. Unfortunately the property was unclean and needed a lot of maintenance and repairs. The kitchen trash did not have a cabinet door and exposed pipes behind trash can. Couch, chairs, tables, surfaces and rugs were dirty. Kitchen drawers and cabinets had crumbs in them and very disorganized. Gummy bears from previous guests were stuck to chairs and melted on deck floor. Broken outdoor furniture, upstairs sliding door to deck was off tracks, broken kitchen drawers. The upstairs bathroom sink was clogged when we arrived. The freezer would not stay cold. We were quite disappointed in the upkeep and cleanliness of this property.

Family trip to litchfield by the sea

Very good layout and location. Couple minor Cleanliness issues upon check in. Beds very Comfortable and worked very well for our family Of four adults. Have stayed at LBTS for 30 years and would recommend this property.

Beautiful stay on Pawleys Island

This was our first time booking through Vacasa and staying in Pawleys Island, so I'm going to review those, in addition to this house. First of all, Vacasa was great to work with. We had an issue with a booking which they quickly and happily resolved. We've booked with other big-name house rental companies before, as well as local beach companies, and Vacasa was way more responsive than the big-name companies and every bit as responsive as the local ones (and in some cases, better). Second, this was our first experience in Pawleys Island. We've vacationed for years in the Outer Banks (Duck) but the last time we were there, we were dismayed by the narrow beaches. There was almost nowhere to go on the beach, even at low tide- there is so little beach space left (this was not the case years ago). In contrast, Pawleys Island has wide open beaches with plenty of space for all. We happened to have several days of rough water because of the Northeast wind, but my older kids still had fun boogie boarding and going in the water. We only ate out a couple of times, but the restaurants were great. We loved Huntington State Park, only a few minutes away. We saw lots of alligators and all kinds of birds. Finally, getting to the property itself, we really enjoyed it. It's part of a big complex, but it never felt crowded or busy. The younger kids really liked having the small pool so close by. It's a little small for my older teens, but it was great to have this for my younger crew when the waves were too rough at the beach. Also, it was a less-than-five-minute walk to the beach so we could go back and forth easily (and check out the gorgeous sunrises for the early birds!). The house was pretty well equipped. I know a lot of people eat out on vacation, but for those who like to cook, I recommend bringing your own knife. Also, there's no large colander for draining pasta, etc. And the pics show a coffee maker, but there's only a Keurig, so come prepared (I had brought ground coffee and filters, but had to run out for k-cups). But the Food Lion is just across the street from the complex entrance, so it was easy to get things. These minor kitchen issues in no way detracted from our lovely vacation- just wanted to give others a heads up, fwiw. All in all, we loved our time there and would be happy to stay again. Thank you to the homeowners and Vacasa for a great vacation stay!

Don't stay here unless you like roaches!

We did have a good time but I would never stay in this house or Litchfield again. Our house had roaches. It was a nice house but needs some maintenence. There were 2 empty propane tanks for the firepit, the fan on the porch needs replacement according to the maintence man and was never fixed. We had to empty out several of the dresser drawers and closets that were stuffed with junk before we could use them. I was told that we could use the lazy rivers and pools which we could not. We were told that we needed wrist bands and had to be staying in that building. There is no office for information just property managers that are who knows where

Litchfield Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay for a few nights. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean, but the hardwood floors needed attention. The cleaning products in the closet were very dirty, and the vacuum would overheat. With that said, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Vacasa. They were helpful when problems arose.

Great Family Home

The house was perfect for my two children, their spouses, and the 3 grand sons. The rooms were comfortable and the foosball table gave us hours of fun and competition. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool around the circle was real close and always lightly attended. The boys could have fun and play with rafts and toys. The walk to the beach was a piece of cake and the grandsons had a blast. The sand and waves made for hours of adventure and digging What a great location! The hammock was a wild ride for the little ones but they also did fall asleep one time. The cutest picture ever. All in all, a very perfect week at the beach for my out of town family.

Easter Break

We were fortunate to rent a nice home in Lichtfield on short notice. A really short walk to the beach and back which the 5 and 3 year old grandkids made easily.

Well-Decorated Home - Wonderful Experience

We loved all about this home. Perfect location, close to the beach, gated community, felt like home away from home. Nearby shopping. We would definitely want to stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Pawleys Island, SC.
