Cheryl and Brett were great. We mostly dealt with Cheryl and she was awesome!! House was clean, location was perfect, relaxing and the yard was amazing for our pups! We really enjoyed our experience and hosts and would 100% recommend this amazing place!!

Love staying at the Forest Retreat. It is such a relaxing property and so enjoy sitting on the patio watching our dog play and the animals roam by. The hosts are fantastic. Perfect for us.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Our dog had a fabulous time playing with the Owner's two dogs and we appreciated their kindness with him. It was everything we hoped it would be!

Hands down, an amazing place to stay! The hosts and their 2 dogs were very welcoming and easy to talk to. Dog friendly was also a huge bonus. Great first stay in Montana for us and the perfect place to get engaged. Plenty of nice places to boat and eat on the lake. Hopefully we can come stay here again soon!

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed (and more) for our stay. The location was perfect - walking distance to Flathead Lake (my new favorite lake) and close to local restaurants. We swam, kayaked, and rented a pontoon boat. Our dog, Luna, enjoyed playing with Huck and Cooper (the retriever and lab hosts). I have stayed in many VRBO's in my 71 years, and must say that Cheryl was the best host EVER - offering excellent communication, special touches, local knowledge, and providing a warm and inviting environment.

We had a wonderful stay! Cheryl and Bret were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The space was very clean and comfortable. Our kids and dog absolutely loved the beautiful fenced yard, which gave everyone plenty of space to relax and play.The thoughtful extras really made this place special. The kids enjoyed the crafts and books, and we appreciated all the little hospitality touches like coffee pods, dog bowls, soap, and other essentials that made our stay easy and comfortable.We also loved the short walk down to the small rocky beach. It was a peaceful spot to explore and enjoy the scenery. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we would happily come back. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about this place. The indoor space was clean, modern, and stocked with everything we needed. But it was the friendly, welcoming demeanor of both the two-legged and four-legged hosts that made our stay really special. Cooper and Huck are great playmates. Our Westie came home exhausted!

This was such a great stay! Cheryl is so kind and communicative, the place was clean and had everything we needed, and check in/check out is a breeze. This is such a gem for Flathead lake. Definitely stay here!

Wonderful stay with pups!

The best stay we have ever had that we could bring the pups! The owners pups were so well mannered and were ours best friends! The owners were respectful of our privacy, but open to wonderful chats! Perfect stay!

Comfortable, well equipped & well located

This property was near our relatives’ house and close to town. It was a cozy, comfortable lower level living space. Cheryl was friendly and responsive to questions. A great place to relax- and enjoy the deer that wander around!

Well appointed. Clean, nice and modern. Kayaks were offered to us though we did not take advantage. Easy to get in the space and was given a dedicated parking space. Would stay again.

Cheryl was an excellent host. The property is well taken care of and has a very homey, comfortable feel. We had a very relaxing quiet day which was exactly what I was looking for. Having the fenced yard for our dog to run and play in just made our trip so much easier. I would be very happy to return if the opportunity presents itself

It was Pefect!

My wife and I and our two pups stayed here on the final days of our honeymoon. The apartment was perfect and exactly what we needed as we got ready to return to life. The host went above and beyond. She was super communicative and even let our pups out to play with Huckleberry while my wife and I were exploring the area. We absolutely intend to stay here the next time we visit the area. The place is a 10 out of 10!

The best of Montana

We loved it! Our dog enjoyed a very large, fully fenced yard. Resident dog “Huckleberry” was a gentle and enthusiastic playmate for our dog. Cheryl and Bret loaned us kayaks and navigated us to local launch sites. Our apartment was very clean and stocked with all essentials from shampoo to coffee K-cups. It was quiet and the outdoor patio was so pleasant to enjoy at night.
