Perfect place for a mini get away

Everything was amazing! The place was so clean, the communication with the owner was positive and friendly. It is located near the miller ferry and we had no problem getting around. During the week it was so quiet and the kids basically had the pool to themselves. Definitely would come back with just adults for the weekend! We have already recommended this place to our friends who have children and those who want a fun adult weekend.

had a great time place is easy to find fishing was slower than slow but friendly town, parking is a issue with a big boat.

Hi Nadine! Thank you for your feedback. I certainly wish you would have called during your stay so we could have stopped over to address your concerns with the grill. In the future, don't hesitate to call. We have a full staff on the island ready to assist if needed. As for the golf carts, we are one of the lowest rental companies on the island since we only rent to the Island Club guests.

Nice location but house very dated and in need of repair

First impression not great. When you step into the entry door, you realize that there are literally holes in the trim that lead to the outside porch and the door leaks water very bad if it rains. In all of the corners were a ton of dead bugs and spiders. The washer and dryer are also within the entry and when we tried to use the dryer to dry our swimming clothes and towels, the knob very easily came off of the dryer, and it was non- functioning. The kitchen was newly renovated with pretty much everything you would need, and was nicely shared by a large living area with a TV and fireplace. We quickly found, however, that the very old and dirty curtains that were supposed to cover the two sets of sliding glass doors in these rooms were not big enough to cover. Therefore, everybody at the swimming pool next door could see into our house in the evening. There were also no locks on those sliding glass doors. The two bathrooms were fairly clean, but very dated and dark. The small skylight in the largest bathroom was ridiculously filthy and covered with bugs, and it leaked when it rained. We found that the skylight in the kitchen also leaked. The beds were OK but the box springs and mattresses were all on bed frames with wheels, so if they weren’t locked just right, they moved while you were trying to sleep at night. Also, the blinds in two of the three bedrooms were basically see-through. Probably won’t stay here again unless major repairs are done.

The bark is a bad things should have concrete to walk on. Your maintenance program is tearable! the gas grill has uneven flame. The windows don't open and close to get fresh air in. Could be more clean when we arrive.

Fishing 2017

There is no cord on the dryer , so we could not use it . Not a lot of utensils in the kitchen. Refrigerator door needs racks so you can utilize the area for storage. The cabin was rough though. Nothing was clean from the carpet making your feet black to the dishes and silverware stuck together with grease. Maintenence was an issue too. The ceiling fan sounded horrrible, there was only one screen left in the entire cabin and the toilets barely flush. They need to get back on top of their staff and pull the quality up.
