Seven miles from the historic town of Mineral Wells, the Crazy Water and Baker Hotels and close to the new Palo Pinto Mountains State Park.
This place exceeded our expectations! It was so clean and charming, and we really enjoyed all of the Texas history in the cabin! A super easy drive to Rocker B for my sonâs baseball tournamentâweâd love to stay again!
My two boys and I stayed here for a baseball tournament. The location was very convenient. Mineral Wells had numerous options for food, groceries, and more. Michael was highly responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout our stay. I recommend.
It was so peaceful and quite here! Just what we wanted! We came in for baseball and it was a short drive to food and to the ballpark. Great communication from owner!
We stayed here while our son played baseball at Rocker B. Only 17 min from the baseball facility. Great set up for 2 kids and 2 adults. Owner is super friendly and the cabin was clean.
Great little cabin in the hills. Just as described. Food and groceries nearby, yet far enough away from town to be in the country. 6 minutes from Mineral Wells Fossil Park.
Really enjoyed it !!!
Location is close to town, but far enough away to feel peaceful and away from it all. Cute cabin. Clean. No frills but we brought most of what we needed. Really enjoyed our stay and appreciated Mike's welcome. It's a plus that it's located just down the road from the Fossil Park.
Country Living and Loving Atmosphere at Its Finest
HIGHLY recommend this cute cabin if youâre looking for a cozy space for quality time. From the accommodations to the notes left to welcome us⊠Michael really made this cabin feel like a home away from home. Will be coming back. đĄâ€ïž
From the moment I saw the property I knew I had to stay at The Hideout. The location of this cabin offered a quiet, uninterrupted stay for me and my husband. When you walk out the back door it feels like your in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what we wanted! The hikes are gorgeous with endless big boulders covered in lichen and moss, cacti and cedar trees. A welcomed landscape coming from the city! A short trek across the pasture takes you to a prime spot on the Brazos river. The ranch owner, Mike, was kind and more than accommodating. He offers his guests a charming retreat and we are already planning a trip back.
My husband and I stayed during the weekend while spending time at the Brazos River and Possum Kingdom Lake. It was so nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.
