THE BAY HOUSE - Less than 11 miles to Dauphin Island.
NO STAIRS. Air-conditioned lanai, for those who want to stay cool and enjoy the view of the bay. Enjoy, beautiful sunrises.
4 BR 2-1/2 BA, 2000 sq ft home. Plenty of parking. Outdoor kitchen, natural gas grill, deck and bar. Starlink WIFI. Launch your boat or jet ski, less than 4 miles away. Bring your fishing poles and bait. Fish, crab, and throw a net for shrimp off of the 300-foot pier. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen. Beds, Master has a king, #1 Queen, #2 Queen, and #3 has a trundle. There is also a fold-out bed on the lanai. A sunroom, with beautiful views of the bay. Washer/Dryer and no carpet. Amenities abound!
I do want to caution people with small children. There is no fence, and the property is located on the water.
If you are looking for relaxation, you will not be disappointed with visiting The Bay House.

You can tell the owners really worked hard to get the property in great shape and have worked hard on maintaining it. The backyard sitting area and outdoor kitchen was worth the stay in itself. Highly recommend

Oh to stay at the Bay...

The perfect place to sit by the dock of the Bay and waste some time :-) The family had a blast fishing from the dock, and I thoroughly enjoyed every sunrise. The area is great, and a short drive to Dauphin Island. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house on the bay

We spent 3 nights at this wonderful place. It is big house with all the amenities. The private dock was such a great experience. The hosts provided crab pots and we took full advantage of them. It is in a great location with the peace and quiet we were looking for.

Exactly what we wanted

The place was immaculate and had everything we wanted for some "off the beaten path" solitude. Georgeous view of the bay where we sat & watched the thunderstorms blow throught and listenec to the thunder rumble off the water.

Everyone had a great time. The weather was a little windy a couple of the days but still had a great time. Kids fished, rode the waverunners and checked crabtraps. We grilled out and chilled.

Bayside calm!

The property was exactly as advertised. Clean, tidy and well stocked (even candies left out for sharing). The hostess was lovely and does a great job. If the weather had been better on our trip we would have made great use of the lovely outdoor kitchen. Just a wonderful calm place to stay.

Amazing house with an amazing view

This is one of the best houses we have ever rented. Perfect location. Communication with the propery manager was top notch. The fishing pier is set up perfectly for relaxing and it allowed us to enjoy watching our kids fish. We look forward to renting this house again in the future.

Really lovely home in a wonderful location . We really enjoyed the outdoor space with the view of the bay in a comfortable & welcoming environment. Absolutely no steps was a huge advantage for my elderly mother & uncle who were traveling with us. The kitchen is well appointed. The hosts responded to all communications quickly & professionally.

We had the best family vacation!! The house was top notch. We could not have asked for more. The sunrises from the dock were breathtaking. What a wonderful experience all around. The location was breathtaking. The property was fantastic. They have everything you think you may need on site. The hosts had fantastic communication from booking all the way through after we even checked out. I had forgotten an item and was able to go back and get it with no issues. Highly recommend.

Family Visit for Mardi Gras

Our family are regular visitors to the Mobile area during Mardi Gras and this property ended up being a perfect place for us to stay! The house was clean and well supplied. The hosts were very welcoming. Our teenage children enjoyed the access to the water and the dock. They even tried their hand at fishing. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our family time at this house. Highly recommended!

Great Stay!

We have a group of 8 men in their early 60’s that have a group golfing outing each year. All 8 of us agree this is a world class place to stay. The outdoor entertainment area was the highlight of the trip. A great place to enjoy the view and spend time with family & friends. The house itself was very clean with plenty of room for all of us. I highly recommend The Bay House for any occasion. Thank you to the owner who communicated each day to make sure we had everything we needed. 5+ Star Review well deserved.

Beautiful home on the bay

We really enjoyed our family Thanksgiving at the Bay House. The owner was so sweet and checked on us to make sure we arrived safely and all was what we expected. There was plenty of room inside and out. Not only is there a gourmet kitchen inside but there is also an outdoor kitchen and plenty of seating. It has a very nice pier with a swing and rockers. The sunrises across the bay are absolutely breathtaking. On our last night, we were fortunate enough to have a full moon that lit up the whole bay.

A 5-Star Stay at The Bay House

The Bay House has everything you need to relax indoors and outdoors. Outside we enjoyed the great fishing pier - caught a flounder! The outdoor kitchen was set up to boil the blue crabs we harvested from the pier and to grill the fresh shrimp, oysters and veggies we got from local fish markets and farm stands nearby. The outdoor sitting areas have wonderful views of the sunrise, the bay, and beautiful birds passing through as they migrate back to their northern homes during May. The house is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Definitely worth a stay and deserves five stars!

We have been here for 16 years and love the Bay. We never get tired of seeing the sunrise, provided we get up early enough. :)

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Come relax and enjoy this beautiful 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath waterfront home on Mobile Bay. Drink a cup of coffee on the lanai and watch an awesome sunrise.
The house provides many comfortable living spaces. A full-house generator will practically guarantee you will never be without power! There is also great sunbathing, fishing, or crabbing off the pier.
Outdoor deck with plenty of seating, an outdoor kitchen with bar.
Come and discover what beautiful Mobile Bay has to offer. Eleven miles from Dauphin Island you can visit the Alabama Aquarium, Dauphin Island Sea Lab, miles of bicycle paths, hiking, bird watching, Indian shell mounds, gorgeous white sand beaches, and fishing charters.
Linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted gourmet kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, dishwashing soap, and a selection of spices. Please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great bay vacation is waiting for you!
