Great stay in the Mercer/Hurley area. Lots of trails & roads to UTV ride right out your door. The cabin was clean, well-appointed and quiet. It is a beautiful setting!

Great Cabin Adventure!

We loved our stay at this cabin! There was something for everyone to do and we especially loved having the kayaks and paddleboat. The cabin owners had timely communication and were available to answer and questions or concerns we had. Will definitely consider staying again!

Amazing cabin

We loved everything about this cabin. It was so very nice, and so clean. Kayaks and canoe were provided, and we really enjoyed getting out on the lake. It was nice to have air conditioning when needed, and firewood available too. The communication with the owner was great too!

The cabin is beautiful, it is well stocked and filled with beautiful treasures of the owners. We had an amazing time. Steve and Sandy are great people. We are blessed to have been able to stay in their home. Would definitely return.

Peaceful cabin getaway full of nature, sunshine, and family time

We had a perfect stay at this peaceful lake cabin up north. The weather couldn't have been better, and we soaked up every moment-quiet mornings with coffee and sunrises, afternoons spent kayaking and fishing, and evenings enjoying the sounds of loons calling across the water.We loved spotting turtles while kayaking and fishing and chipmunks at the cabin. We all got a surprising amount of joy from finally conquering the triangle peg game! A visit to Copper Falls state park added to the adventure, but honestly, the best part was the time spent around the table together-sharing meals, stories, and laughs as a family.It was exactly the kind of slow, simple, soul-filling trip we were hoping for. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Cabin But Difficult to Get to

We loved the Eagle Point Cabin. It’s clean, nicely furnished and quiet. The lake is tranquil with good fishing. My family and I really enjoyed the time there. But it must be mentioned that the gravel road to the cabin is long, tedious, and must be taken slowly. The last stretch which is narrow and deeply potholed is the worst stretch of road any of us had ever driven! We adapted by minimizing our trips to town. But the destination is certainly worth all of the time and effort to get there.

Our stay in the Northwoods

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. It is very remote and away from the hustle and bustle of life! It is so quiet and relaxing there. We enjoyed hearing the loons throughout the day. The cabin was very clean and accomodating. The gravel road to the cabin seemed a bit long but it was a manageable drive and well worth it when we got to the cabin. We appreciated all of the water craft that was available for us to use as well as the washer and dryer. The owners were very helpful with any questions we had. We would recommend this vacation spot to anyone!

Peaceful getaway

This property was a beautiful spot to relax at with our family for a week. The property is very private with beautiful water views. The house had everything we needed, and our adult family of 7 had plenty of comfortable beds to choose from. The big table was the perfect spot to share many meals together as well as some card games. We made good use of the two kayaks and the paddleboat. There was a family of loons that visited us a few times during the week we were at the cabin. The only complaint we would have is the mosquitos and black flies were very abundant, so be sure to bring some good bug spray. Steve and Sandy were very easy to communicate with and work with for check in and checkout. We would highly recommend this cabin for a family vacation!

Beautiful property, very private

We were worried as we traveled the long gravel road to get to the property; however, once we got there, it is beautiful! Very clean, new and nice. The property is gorgeous! The boat landing is close to the property for launching our personal boat, and our kids loved using the kayaks provided by the owners. This spot is very private; and not much traffic on the lake. We enjoyed boating over to Bear Chasers bar and grill for a snack and game of darts. The only downfall is the gravel road. It takes 40 minutes to get to town because of the road, so make sure you bring all the supplies you need for your wonderful family get away!

Awesome Northwoods getaway!

We had a spectacular two weeks at Eagle Point Cabin! Lots of personal touches and many above-average indoor (cooking supplies, hand-made dining room table) and outdoor (boats, fire pit, gas grill) amenities helped make the stay even more enjoyable. The lake is fairly quiet with lots of interesting wildlife: we saw loons, otters, beavers, eagles, osprey, deer and more. Two docks with two different views! Excellent star-gazing. The cabin and the lake are well off the beaten path down gravel roads, so come prepared: groceries and restaurants are a good 45 minutes away. Great place for a quiet Northwoods getaway!

Relaxing vacation!

This was our 4th year at this property, and we had a great time, as usual! Very secluded, lots of wildlife, and not much lake traffic. A clean, modern cabin with lots of room, satellite/smart tv, and internet. Great communication with the owners, who are always helpful & nice. We hope to stay again next year!

Beautiful!

Our family enjoyed every minute at the Eagle Point Cabin. Beautiful views and peaceful nights on the water. The house was very clean and had everything we would ever need. The location was perfect if you want privacy, but also not too far away from the UP if you want to do any day trips. Our kids enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and swimming. We would definitely love to book again.

We rented this cabin with two other couples. It was amazing. It’s a beautiful home. It was so nice and clean and felt very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to friends!

Amazing little getaway in the middle of the Northwoods!

Let me start off by saying this property is beautifully kept and was immaculate when we arrived. It’s clear they take very good care of their property and we’re well prepared for guests. They even had ice already made for us! The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake and the screened in porch was fabulous! It’s where we spent most of our evenings. We were primarily up here for an ATV trip and were able to leave right from the front porch, which was awesome. This house was near all of the iron county trails so it was perfect for us. There were only a couple hiccups, one being that the water/toilet seemed to run intermittently in the middle of the night. You could hear it run as if the toilet was still filling but would eventually stop. The shower also squealed quite a bit when people were using it. Other than those two minor things, our stay was amazing. We really enjoyed our little vacation and would gladly come back!

Great family Cabin

We had a wonderful week at this clean, modern cabin. The bumpy gravel road trek was worth it for the great location on a big, clean lake. We enjoyed exploring and fell in love with the river otters that would visit us occasionally. Already thinking of booking again next year. A big thank you to this family for sharing their much loved cabin with us!

Great family vacation!

Beautiful, modern, quiet, large cabin, with wonderful owners & great scenery with a view of the sunrise over the lake. The kids love using the kayaks and rowboat, watching all of the wildlife, and of course fishing all day long. This was our 3rd year (the trip up was even better now that the potholes in the last half mile have been fixed!) and we just booked for next year! :)
