It was so convenient to everything, including Parris Island the food at the local restaurants was amazing. Very Clean and decorated so cute beds very comfortable, love the moss on the trees The whole area was very nice. Our Host was very helpful.

This property is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect place for my bridesmaids and I to relax at before my wedding. It was within walking distance of Fishcamp and Shellring Ale Works, both of which we walked to and enjoyed! Would love to be able to come back

Mother’s Day Meet Up

The Happy Place is aptly named…the house is exactly as pictured and the location was great! Quiet neighborhood and very walkable to the Main Street of Port Royal! Slight hitch when trying to get in the house, but through no fault of the owner. There had been major storms which caused the power to go out and rendered the key pad useless…but they were very apologetic and came up with a work around so it was fine! We truly enjoyed our stay and the house really is just so cute and welcoming and the perfect size for our group of 5!!Would definitely book again!

Perfection in Port Royal

This is truly a beautiful home. It is so beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable and was absolutely perfect for this weekend. It has now become our very favorite house in Port Royal!! The home is very well stocked with everything you need including beach chairs if you forgot yours like I did! The layout of the house is great as well as the cute yard. My two tween daughters and I were visiting Port Royal for the one year anniversary of the death of my husband, their father. We have many precious memories together at The Sands. Unfortunately, The Sands Beach was closed for construction of a park/restroom addition so we weren't able to enjoy shark tooth hunting this trip but we still enjoyed the Observation tower and walking pier and enjoyed the dolphins playing in front of us!! We still enjoyed the beach at nearby Hunting Island for our day at the beach and got t-shirts from Barefoot Bubba's. Dockside restaurant was wonderful and worth the wait as always. We will be back!!

Close stay to Parris Island!

It truly was a beautiful, spacious home and would definitely stay there again. Alyssa was very responsive. Anything you could think of that was needed was available to us! If I could rate it 10 stars, I would!!

Our "happy place"

We had a wonderful time. The house was in a perfect location for us and tastefully decorated. It was within walking distance to the cypress wetlands, the sands beach and boardwalk. Must go to Maynards for donuts and ice cream!

Wedding Stay

We brought the whole family for a nearby wedding. The house was perfect. Very comfortable and homey. The pictures don’t actually do it justice. Much larger than it appeared in the photos. Very clean and well equipped. Short walk to a number of areas downtown, beach and restaurants. We would definitely come back if our travels take us to the area.

Parris Island Family Day and Graduation

House was perfect location for easy access to P.I. Spent most of our time on base - wish we had more time at this great house! Walked to dinner at Fish Camp on 11th - beautiful sunset, great food! Loved our time here!

Perfect spot for family getaway

We came for our son’s graduation and needed lots of room for a large family. This was perfect. Location was convenient to all of the places we needed to be and the house was beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay

The house did not disappoint. Looks just like the pictures. We stayed for sons graduation from Parris Island which is just a short drive from the house. So it turned out to be a perfect location for us in a nice quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!

Great location

Our stay was amazing. Loved the filtered water pitcher in the fridge… was a life saver. With tons of water bottles to fill up we didn’t have to stand at fridge for long periods of time. Location was great. Their options of where to dine in Welcome binder were spot on. Beds were very comfortable.

Nice house in Port Royal

Cute and comfortable. It was very clean, but there is some white upholstery that has gotten dingy, which made it feel a little it hadn’t been cleaned. There is plenty of space. We went for my son’s graduation from PI, it’s very close to base.It isn’t really 4 BR the twin beds are in a loft area upstairs, which might impact privacy.

Wonderful location

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Happy Place! It was well appointed and comfortable. The neighborhood was quite and friendly. The location was conveniently located to Parris Island, Beaufort, and Lady Island.

Excellent Location and Propery

The Happy Place in Beaufort, SC is a beautifully decorated property located in a lovely area to explore. Our family especially enjoyed the Cypress Wetlands and Hunting Island Beaches. The restaurants, shops, and history museums of both Port Royal and Beaufort are exceptional. This vacation house is well-appointed with more necessary items supplied than we have been given at other rentals. This made us feel at home. We highly recommend The Happy Place to other vacationers.

Wonderfully stocked, great location, quiet neighborhood.

This isn't just a house, it's a home. They thought of absolutely everything that you need from cookware to supplies, far better than most STRs that we've stayed in. The neighborhood was peaceful and clean, located close to restaurants, coffee shops and not far from beach access. Parking was great, and we loved the ambiance of the huge Spanish moss covered trees.

The Happy Place is Amazing

We came to watch our nephew graduate from Marine bootcamp and could not have picked a better place to stay! Quick drive to the base, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. 100% recommend this home to anyone coming to the Parris Island area!
