Myself, my sister and my dog stayed four nights here. The cabin is nice however the way the outside pictures are cropped you don’t realize there’s others so close. Upon arrival the windows were open and the smell of cleaning products was very strong. Later realized it was like that to smell like it had been cleaned well when in reality the floor was so dirty we both ruined a pair of socks, the tub wasn’t clean, AC return was dirty and ceiling fan looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. We noticed there was no blind on the glass door in the master bedroom that leads to the patio. I called one of the owners Garth, whose number was on a sheet in the cabin. When I voiced my concerns as to there being no covering on the door and that anyone walking by or sitting on a balcony across would be able to see in he told me that was Whitefish, nothing ever happens there and sarcastically asked where I was from. Where I’m from we don’t invite people to look into our bedrooms. I said I could cover it with a sheet for the night and he said they would take care of it the next day. He never did anything about it or contacted me about it. The day before we left the cleaning lady was in the unit behind ours and left the bathroom lights in that unit on and the bedroom blinds up. The light shined into my bedroom all night even with the blinds down it was almost like daylight, that’s how close together the units are. Not what I expected.
