TrĂšs belle maison moderne dans les bois. Totalement meublĂ©es. TrĂšs grandes chambres, draps, serviettes fournis. Cuisine trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, un bain Ă  remous privĂ©, une piscine extĂ©rieure beaucoup trĂšs calme et Ă  l'Ă©cart des animaux. Vue magnifique donnant sur Ă©tang privĂ©. Salle de jeux pour les enfants avec de air hockey et une table de ping-pong. Surface habitable tout plancher de bois franc. Prestige a mis en place, des canapĂ©s en cuir vĂ©ritable. AccĂšs au lac se trouve Ă  400 mĂštres de la maison. A 14 m bateau de canard peut ĂȘtre louĂ© pour 50 $ par jour. Un endroit pour profiter de la tranquillitĂ© et de la nature, pas un endroit pour regarder la tĂ©lĂ©vision. Beaucoup de possibillities plein air, 300 acres de terres privĂ©es avec le chemin de randonnĂ©e, Ă©tang de castor. Pourtant, trĂšs proche de la ville et des commerces. 10 miles Ă  la ville, Ă  40 miles au parc national d'Acadia et le bord de la mer. Beaucoup de restaurants, terrains de golf, mini-golf, Kart trac Ă  proximitĂ©.

We had a nice relaxing time here! Not far from Acadia NP. The lake nearby is beautiful. We saw tons of wildlife! Host is wonderful and very accommodating!

Nice property, cool turtle

Very nice property, the hot tub in its own shack was super cool as well! The pond has a bunch of fish and a snapping turtle that ate hotdogs, very fun! You can see the stars amazing from the backyard

Lovely home in a great spot! Convenient to UMaine.

We visited for the long weekend and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The house is perfect for a family. Two huge bedrooms upstairs with king beds and two rooms each with two twin beds in the basement. The living area is comfortable and the yard and pond are lovely. We didn’t see a moose or porcupine, but we did see some deer. Everyone wants to go back for another visit!

Great Place

This was our second time staying here. The place is clean, well equipped and has comfortable beds. The yard is great. Secluded with lots of wildlife and a great hot tub. Andre made sure we had everything that we needed. We also rented the apartment which was nice. I would highly recommend staying here

Martin is an amazing host. The hot tub was clean and nice and warm completely accessible from the house and a wonderful compliment to my weekend. The kitchen was immaculate with all of the Comforts I need it and more. I cannot wait to go again.

Family Getaway

Upon arrival, we received a tour of the rental from Andrea. He was just a text message away and friendly/responsive to any questions we had. The rental is nicer than the vrbo photos portray. Cozy home in the woods, no sounds of the highway - just nature. Also, just a short 5-10 min walk to the lake and a 20 min drive into town for groceries. We can't wait to go back!

Fantastic Time - much needed relaxed vacation

Beautiful home! Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We are a busy family that was in need of a quiet, relaxing vacation. We got just that!! Toys for the kids already there. We sat on the decks and enjoyed the quiet, serene property while the kids explored the woods and grounds! LOVED IT!

Great property, very nice home and close to Bangor

The home is just 5-7 minutes from Bangor, yet it is situated on such a nice piece of wooded property you are away from it all when you are at the home. The home is very nice and spacious. Martin makes sure everything is just perfect for you and it was during our stay. We saw deer in the evening and enjoyed a walk in woods during the day. Being so close to Bangor, we could pop in town for groceries, shopping etc, and be home in minutes to relax. We can't wait to come back.

Perfect!

We came up for a graduation at University of Maine. This house could not have been more perfect. It was clean and well equipped. The grounds were beautiful with lots of chairs and a fire pit. The hot tub was a nice addition too! Andre was very helpful and made sure we had everything that we needed. All in all I would say that we couldn't have asked for more! We will definitely stay here again.

Our Vacation!

Everything about our stay was great! The property greeter and caretaker was very flexible with our arrival time and provided a very warm welcome. The house itself was lovely, well appointed and clean. The information book was a blessing and led us directly where we wanted to go. The owner of the house, Martin, arrived in Maine during our stay and was kind enough to introduce himself, check in on our visit a few times and make sure that there was nothing that we needed. He even provided some insight on places to eat and travel that are off the beaten path and more for the locals. We cannot say enough good things about this experience. Great secluded getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at Martin's home. Every morning we sat on the porch, drinking our coffee while watching the hummingbirds at their feeder. They were close that we could have touched them! We were also visited by a beaver and a deer in the evenings. The house was very clean, good location, and had everything we needed. The only thing we missed was the morning news (no satellite or cable) and the internet didn't always have a strong enough signal. It gave us a reason to not check work emails! We were a bit worried that the two window air conditioner units wouldn't cool down the house in the hot 90 degree weather but they did a fantastic job. When we first arrived we were also worried about the big home in front of the property (another owned by Martin) but it's far enough away that you aren't on top of each other. We met Martin's brother, Godson and friends from Switzerland. They were all very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them on the porch. Please feel free to look at the amateur video of the property, located on this VRBO page, that we took using a tricopter. At the very end you'll see the lake off in the distance. We are sure to be repeat customers. Thank you Martin!

I lived many years in Europe and this is my place in the maine woods. It reminds me so much of Germany/France with the many lakes and forests only that there is much more nature and animals here in Maine. Paradise for me.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Because I fell in love with it. It is in the woods but only 20 minutes from the big shopping centers or the airport. The people who live year round there are very nice and helpful. And the House is very beautifull.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The air is so pure and the water is so clean and the people are so friendly. I have traveled the whole world, but this is home away from home, just perfect and beautiful. Take a cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the pond, watching the deer passing by, what more can you ask for.
