About this space
Welcome to Bangor! A cozy town with quite a bit to offer which may surprise you. Only one hour to Acadia!
The stylish home offers all the amenities you will need during your stay be it a few nights or a few weeks.
The home has 4 bedrooms each having a queen size bed with luxury liens that are all provided, even towels! You are close to everything you will need, a grocery store only 2 minutes away and Downtown Bangor and The Waterfront Concerts only 5 minutes away by car, cab or Uber.
Other things to note
As a host I’m new to Airbnb but this house has been an Airbnb for 5 years with a 4.7 rating. Im planning on keeping everything the same, but I’m going to add some new features. The cleaning people, Internet, etc will all be the same so everyone should expect the same experience if not a little better!

While the home is an older home its clear the owners have made improvements and updates to make sure guests are comfortable. Everything was clean and very comfortable for the three of us. And the location was great -- close by to groceries and stuff plus super close to downtown and other places we wanted to get to. It was great to have a deck to enjoy the weather too.

We had a great stay at Travis's house. A group of friends met from all over the state to attend Shania Twain. The house was clean, roomy and conviently located. We had a great time. Travis was very responsive. We will stay here again!

This home was in a perfect location for three of us to shop and offered plenty of space, which was really nice! Good communication from the host. We did find the living room setup a bit uncomfortable, the couch was quite firm, it could really benefit from some extra seating, like an additional chair. One of us ended up sitting on an outdoor lawn chair, which felt a bit out of place. Overall, it worked well for our stay.

Thanksgiving Celebration

Headed to my daughter’s for Thanksgiving weekend. Nice little home to stay all together rather than a hotel. Easy check in and easy check out. Very quiet neighborhood.

Great Place!

This place was the perfect venue to celebrate our adult daughter's undergraduate graduation from Unity Environmental College while she visited the University of Maine to possibly pursue her master's after separating from the US Navy. Coastal Maine was always our best family vacation. This rental offered us the new flavor of interior Bangor while being close enough to revisit Acadia, Bar Harbor, and Tidal Falls Preserve. In addition, the people we met in the neighborhood were super friendly. When our week was up, nobody wanted to leave. This rental helped us relive old memories and celebrate new.
Brewer's Nutrition in Bangor offered the best chicken salad croissant sandwich and protein shakes!
Zillman Art Museum is affiliated with the University of Maine. It's free and you can view a Pablo Picasso!
Downtown Bangor offers an eclectic flair of shopping and eating.

A lovely and beautiful cabin

It is easy to see the love that was placed in this cabin. Everything you need plus things you would not even think of have been provided. But it is the location that is wonderful. You have a feeling of being totally secluded yet not isolated. They were very happy to have had the privilege to stay in this home

what a perfectly located property for almost anything in the bangor area. We had 7 family members in town for my daughters wedding. this property accommodated all our needs. the host was quick to reply to our inquiries and went out of the the way to see to our needs. Much better than a hotel

The owner was very responsive and pleasant. They made everything very easy. We ended up getting a heck of a winter storm wish there had been a shovel. There weren’t enough silverware but we got some plastic throw aways. There were a few dust bunnies around but all in all a nice place. The neighborhood was quiet. Maybe in the future a new couch and stove would be nice.

A cozy little home

This was a great little place! 4 bedrooms, a fire pit, lots of dishes available. The general location is pretty central, with easy access to highways and the mall. The street is not the easiest to access, unfortunately. The floors were pretty squeaky, and the front downstairs mattress was not the most comfortable. The other 3 rooms had relatively nice mattresses, however. Lots of pillows and blankets were provided. The internet was fast. Hosts Travis and Ann were courteous and responsive. A great stay overall!

Overall condition of property inside and out was shabby and sparsely furnished. Furniture was old and looked second hand. Toilet upstairs was not a half bath. Full bath downstairs needed a good cleaning.

Perfect for what we needed

Communication with Travis was great. He was accommodating which was very much appreciated. The home did have a musty animal odor to it, which may have been due to the basement, there was a dehumidifier which was full. In the left downstairs bedroom the mattress protector has blood on it. The sheets were clean, but the mattress protector was dirty. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Other than the odor and the mattress protector issue, we would stay here again. Very safe area.

Great space, convenient location, quiet neighborhood

The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The area was just off the interstate making it extremely easy to go to and from points of interest. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house had everything we needed except for washcloths, even had a hamper to place our towels in. The only thing I would have liked to see was a vacuum. I took the broom around the corners and ceiling edges, swept the floors, shook out the rugs, cleaned the bathroom, but did not locate a vacuum to clean the rugs better.
