Quiet, Central, Free Level 2 EV charging, Close to I-83/Route 30, Country Vibe
Highly rated. EV charging (Level 2, Tesla and J1772) included at this peaceful, centrally-located, classic 19th century Pennsylvania home. Minutes from the intersection of I-83 and Route 30 in Emigsville, Pa., yet with a rural vibe and silence of the country. Quiet neighbors, host lives next door. Kitchen, office, living, dining, three bedrooms with two queen beds and one futon double. Shaded back deck for outdoor eating. Park right in front of your door or enjoy off-street parking. Well-equipped kitchen, coffee bar with assorted teas and snacks, laundry, Adirondack chairs on front porch and outdoor dining in back. I keep you clear if it snows.
We had a fantastic say at this location. The host was accommodating to any and all of our needs was kind and polite. We had absolutely no issues with our stay, the host or the accommodations. Would highly recommend a stay in this location with this host. Communication with the host was easily accessible, prompt and courteous.
It was perfect! The attention to detail was amazing. I can really tell that Paul cares about his guests! He has definitely raised the bar for my expectations of a vacation rental. We will definitely stay here again!!!
We were in York for a sporting event and stayed here for the weekend. Itâs one of the best rentals we have visited. The whole home is upgraded with amenities around every corner. Very comfy beds and a lovely back porch. Paul was attentive to our arrival and made us feel very welcome. I would hands down recommend this location to anyone visiting the York. Avoid the hotel and enjoy yourselves here! Thanks again, Paul.
We stayed over the Christmas holiday to visit with family in the area. It was perfect for our needs. Cute little place with great beds! It had everything we needed for our stay. Paul was very accessible, knows the area and is close by to help with any unusual needs.
My family had a wonderful stay. The house is adorable and well equipped for cooking meals or just enjoying the views from the back deck. Our Tesla had no problems when plugged into the available EV charger.
Heck, if all rentals were this attractive and the owners so accommodating, why stay home? We had the pleasure of meeting him before we left. There is a list of recommended restaurants and directions on the things most wanted, such as groceries. some guided
We drove from the Boston area to PA to see Gettysburg, Lancaster, and Hershey and found Paulâs Emigsville home to be the perfect place to escape the city and explore. The house was clean, stocked, and quiet and definitely had that country vibe. The convenience of the homeâs location (being equidistant to our three destinations) plus the availability of the level 2 charger on site for our EV (Ioniq 5) allowed us to maximize our vacation experience. Paul was a wonderful host - communicative, attentive and respectful. Highly recommend!
Compact, comfortable, quiet historic townhouse. As the groomâs parents, we needed a quiet location that would allow us the ability to help with logistics. This delightful location allowed us to help when needed and relax in between. Paul (host) is next door for questions and assistance. Add the history of the area and you have magic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This was a perfect location for us to use for visiting family in the area! It was only 10 minutes away, well equipped, and quite comfortable. The host was super communicative and easy to contact. The garden was also a lovely place to hang out in the evenings. Stairs are a bit narrow, but we felt that only added to the character of the place. Very comfy; we'd love to stay again.
I have lived in the neighborhood next to this listing since 1990. My main gig is a journalist, mostly visual, for a national media organization. I graduated from Gettysburg College. I like to build things and the outdoors. I enjoy sharing the quiet street with business travellers, and people looking for something more than a hotel room, yet minutes from major roads.
It's a quiet neighborhood with a country vibe, yet in close proximity of two major routes, Interstate 83 and Route 30. While the house is connected to two others, there are 15-inch brick firewalls between the homes and quiet, mature, single neighbors with no dogs. It's much like living in a stand-alone home. A classic 19th century Pennsylvania working class neighborhood that once centered (and still is) around agriculture and industry. Also within walking distance of a deli, post office, pizza place with italian dinners and full-service healthy independent grocery store.
It's a quiet escape in a very centrally located place. Close proximity to Interstate 83 and Route 30, and industrial parks and businesses around York for easy access, but quiet rural setting. Free Level 2 Electric Vehicle charging for Tesla (NACS) and J1772 common with most other EVs. There is a small garage available at the rear of the property for motorcycle travelers or people needing storage during their stay.
