The house was clean and in a convenient location to downtown and the ballpark. The air conditioner on the second floor wasn't working but I got in contact with the owners and it was fixed ASAP. They even gave us a giftcard for the trouble. We would definitely stay again!
The house was great, spacious, clean, and well appointed. Kitchen was a great space to cook, serve, and eat in, but cookware needs to replaced. What was there was in good condition, but there was only one small pot for cooking, certainly not ample for a house that sleeps 14! Otherwise, great place in which new family memories were made! Thanks to the owner for sharing your Raleigh home with us!
Our family spent a week in Raleigh to celebrate our son's wedding. We were joined at the house by our two other sons, their spouses, and a total of five grandchildren.
The property was exactly right for our family. The house was clean, spacious and had plenty of sleeping options. The first floor open space was great for the whole group, and the kitchen was great for my wife to bake the wedding cake!
The house was well stocked - particularly with towels! We had all we could use.
We were close to all the important locations for the week, as well as downtown Raleigh with its myriad of dining options. There is a wonderful park with a splashpad and carousel just a few blocks away - great for the grandkids.
Admittedly, the house could use some TLC - loose tiles, a missing stair nose, burned out light bulbs and a very noisy bath fan. The cushions on the deck were wet all week and showing obvious signs of mold.
Overall, though, the experience was great - a perfect home base for our family. I would not hesitate to rent it again.
