In the winter you are only 8 minutes away from skiing at Tahoe Donner and in the summer you are only 10 minutes from boating, fishing, or lounging at Donner Lake.

**We are available to you for standard check in times should you require any assistance from 4pm - 6pm. For after these hours we may be available for emergencies only and only then via Airbnb message app. We apologize if this causes any issues, but please consider this ahead of booking. Likewise, please advise us before traveling, on your estimated time of arrival so we can accommodate if possible.
Ski resorts within 20-30 minutes’ drive include: Tahoe Donner, Sugar Bowl, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, Boreal, Northstar, Homewood, Donner Ski Ranch, and Royal Gorge. Easy access to other seasonal activities like hiking, river rafting and biking right out your front door. Come here for the beach, summer concerts and so much more.
Please note that in winter periods a vehicle with 4x4 may be necessary. We are unable to offer refunds or credits if your trip is affected by weather/weather conditions.
IMPORTANT INFO - Please follow the instructions below so you don’t get any extra charges, fines.
1. When you check out or leave the property do not turn heater off, always leave the property heated to at least 55 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent freezing the pipes.
2. Maximum number of vehicles allowed is 4. On street parking is not allowed at anytime; all vehicles are to be onsite in designated/allowed parking area.
3. Be cautious while walking outside especially at night during winter time in icy conditions.
4. Do not use the electric wall heaters. Only use the central heater with Ecobee thermostat.
5. The house is stocked with quality wood, do not burn anything other than the provided wood in the wood burning stove. Keep the wood stove door closed at all times. Local ordinance says no outdoor fires of any kind.
6. After a heavy storm guests may be required to shovel snow around front door and driveway.
7. After a heavy storm neighborhood streets may not be plowed immediately
8. Four-wheel-drive or tire chains are advised all winter.
9. No Rec Center access available for STR guests.
TRASH INSTRUCTIONS:
- Regular trash must be in a bag and placed inside the trash can inside the bear box.
- Please ensure the bear box is secured when putting trash inside.
- NEVER leave trash outside the bear box.
- A fee will be charged for trash left outside of the bear box.
FIRE SAFETY RULES:
The Truckee Fire Department has made it ILLEGAL to use any Charcoal BBQ, Fire Pits, and as always, fireworks in Truckee.
NOISE:
This is part of an HOA community so please be mindful and courteous of noise levels. Quiet hours are between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. During that time frame please keep noise to a minimum.
SNOW PLOWING:
Please review the following information regarding snow plowing during your stay:
1. This home is set up for snow plowing services after snow has accumulated.
2. You will need to move your cars from the driveway for the plow to be able to clear snow. If the plow comes by and cars are in the driveway they will skip the home and come back around on their next route.
3. Plow services are not available by phone when out in the field. If your driveway has not been plowed in over 24 hrs please contact the host.
4. Plow service does not include shoveling.
5. Guests are responsible for removing/shoveling snow from their cars, as well as moving cars from the driveway to allow the plows to clear the driveway.

We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.
- All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID).
No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
- Please respect check-in and checkout times. Check-in: 4pm-10pm. Checkout: 11am
- Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside Airbnb.
- The maximum occupancy for the property may not be exceeded at any time.
- Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.
- This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
- Maintenance/Vendors schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. Guests should understand that such vendors must be able to access the home as well as service the property so we request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay.
- Absolutely no parties or loud music.
- This is a NON-SMOKING property.
- This is a pet-friendly spot. If you are allergic or don't like pets, this might not be a good fit!
PET POLICY:
-One adult dog up to 50lbs allowed. Cats are not allowed anytime.
-Dog must be house and potty trained and cannot be left alone or on furniture.
-Pet fee is required and non refundable
-Guest assumes full responsibility for all and any damage caused by the pet during the stay. Pet fee is not meant to cover accidents to carpets and/or furniture, nor picking up after your dog or excessive fur cleaning; pet owner will be held responsible for all and any damages.
-If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation canceled immediately.
PET ETIQUETTE:
-Control their barking - if you have a loud dog, please never leave it in the home alone.
-No dog on furniture.
-Don’t let them treat everything like a fire hydrant (inside and outside the home).
-Play is fun, but silence is golden - be respectful of the neighbors.
-Keep them on leash while outside the home (required by local ordinance)
-Always pick up after your dog.
-Wash those paws and minimize bringing messes inside the home.
