CA89 Base is an ideal blend of comfort and convenience for families. Two miles from Palisades Tahoe with easy access to skiing/snowboarding in winter and mountain adventures in summer. Western States & Pacific Rim Trails provide opportunities for hiking/biking amidst stunning scenery.
Walk to a bike rental shop, follow a paved trail along the river to Commons Beach, Lake Tahoe. Shops, restaurants, pickleball, and playground within walking distance ensures something for everyone to enjoy nearby!
The main floor blends the beauty of the mountains and nature with clean lines and upscale design elements. The master bedroom on this level features a king bed and tv with a large double vanity bathroom and waterfall shower. Open the accordion doors to invite nature in!
The lower level, with its three bedrooms (two queen beds and one bedroom with two twin beds), is ideal for accommodating additional guests or children, ensuring everyone has their own space. Every bedroom has a private bathroom ensuite. The presence of a media room downstairs adds another layer of entertainment, perfect for movie nights or relaxing after a day of outdoor activities. CA89 Base is well-suited for families and groups traveling together.
NEARBY RECREATION: The neighborhood has a bike pump track and bocce ball court. A short walk to the public pickleball courts, lacrosse/soccer field and a playground. Stroll to the bike shop and rent bikes or walk to the Palisades Village for restaurants and shops. It`s all about ease when you stay at this home. There is golf and tennis at Everline Resort, just 1 mile up the road. The home is within close proximity to public boat launch access. Enjoy riverfront dinning a short 5 minute drive on hwy 89 or lakefront dinning just a 10 minute drive.
There is a complimentary, on-demand, Mountaineer Shuttle that runs December through April. The app is simple to use.
The property holds a Short Term Rental Permit with Placer County (STR22-6211).
- Please note that Placer County mandates a 12.5% occupancy tax, which will be added to your booking.
- A security deposit will be secured after booking, via a pre-authorized hold on your credit card for $1500 through our DACK app. This hold will be released 7 days after your check-out. This app is also where you will receive your keycode.

If you need a full size baby crib, high chair or perhaps you`d like to rent a paddle board - we`ve got your covered! We can help customize your trip and stock your fridge. Cancellations made within the cancellation period are subject to a payment processing fee of 3.9% plus $0.30 for any deposits collected.
1. Always double check that the doors are LOCKED to avoid wildlife incidents. We have active wildlife in Tahoe.
2. NO SMOKING inside the home. Remember, this is a wildfire hazard area. Take extreme caution when disposing of cigarettes butts.
3. NO PARTIES or events allowed.
4. Please respect the noise curfew of 9pm-9am.
5. Please do not place hot pots/pans on countertops. It could damage the stone.
6. If you have the house keys during your stay, take extra care not to lose them. If lost, the rekeying fee of $250 will be passed onto the guest.
7. Please do not damage or rearrange furniture.
8. The HVAC system should be left at 68 degrees in the winter and 75 degrees in the summer when you are not home and when you check-out.
9. The fireplace has a remote control. Use the remote to turn it OFF completely or the gas will continue to run.
10. The grill is connected to a propane tank. Be sure to turn the tank to the CLOSE position when you are done using the grill.
11. Dispose of all trash in bear box and ensure the top and bottom are fully latched to avoid wildlife incidents.
12. Lock all vehicles to avoid wildlife incidents.
13. Do not park on the street during winter months as this will prevent the plow service from doing their job.
14. Take extra care when operating the custom window treatments.
15. Guests agree to use the hot tub at their own risk.
