The Space:
Tucked among the majestic pine forest, this charming family-friendly condo will make you feel as if you are hidden away in nature. The two-bedroom condo is just 3-minutes away from Olympic Valley Ski Resort and includes access to a variety of shared amenities such as a pool, hot tub, and a tennis court. The location of the home makes it easy to pop in and grab a quick lunch or outdoor gear before heading off for another adventure. If you are looking for a great stay in Tahoe, this is the place!
When you arrive at the condo you will come to a front hallway that includes a coat rack and two benches providing a convenient place to store your outdoor gear before settling in. Just a few steps down the hallway, the home opens up to the kitchen/dining area/living room. This bright space features lovely hardwood floors, large windows overlooking the trees, and a social and open layout.
You will first come to the kitchen, a well-laid-out space the chef in your group will easily be able to prepare a meal in. The kitchen features ample cabinet space, lovely black countertops, and a full range of cookwares including a drip coffee maker, a blender, and childrenâs dishes. A pass-thru window to the dining/living room doubles as a kitchen bar where you will find four barstools providing a great spot for grabbing a snack or chatting with the cook. On the other side of the kitchen is the open living space where you will find the dining area with a table providing seating for 6 and the living room. The well-decorated living room is a cozy space that will have you feel right at home with two couches situated around the fireplace. Warm up by the fire while you take in the views out the sliding balcony doors, or enjoy a movie night on the 55â TV. This dynamic space can be used as a sleeping area, with one of the couches doubling as a pull-out full bed. Your group is going to love relaxing in this space that is surrounded by windows, everywhere you look is a beautiful view overlooking the trees!
From the living room, you can step out the sliding glass doors onto the private balcony, where you will find two plastic chairs, so you can sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking the tranquil scenery.
When you are ready to settle in for the night, you will find the condoâs two bedrooms down the front hallway. The rooms are located directly across the hallway from each other, providing a nice separation of space. The spacious master bedroom will have everything you need for a comfortable stay with a king-size bed, a dresser and closet, and an extra area set up as a sitting area with a couch and a reclining chair. You will be impressed with the space the master bedroom provides! Adding to the comfort of the room is a full-size attached bathroom. The master bathroom boasts a double-sink vanity with ample under-the-sink storage space, a linen closet, and a separate room with the toilet and bathtub/shower combo for additional privacy. Across the hallway is the second bedroom where you will find a bunk bed with a twin-over-full, a fire TV, a closet, and a bench underneath a large window making for a cozy reading spot. A second full bathroom for shared use is located in the front hallway near the bedrooms. The bathroom includes a single-sink vanity and a bathtub/shower combo.
A stacked washer and dryer are available for guest use and are located in a closet near the second bathroom and kitchen. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the many wonderful HOA amenities the home includes such as an outdoor pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. Please note, some of the amenities are only open during the summer season.

This centrally located home situated just off HWY 89 is a short 3-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort, and just a 7-minute drive to Alpine Meadows, placing you nearby some of the best ski runs in the area. During the summer months, enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Truckee River bike path, located just a few miles from the home. A minute away is a bike rental location where you can rent bikes in the summer, or tune your skis and snowboards in the winter. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas such as Truckee just 13 minutes away. Or head into Tahoe City is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers' markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. With its easy access to ski resorts, bike paths, and the river, this cabin is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.
Getting Around:
Enjoy free shuttles during winter season with the Mountaineer app! The shuttles only service trips within Alpine Meadows & Palisades Tahoe.
Centrally located just off HWY 89 and within walking distance of a public transportation stop, you can get by without having a vehicle is needed. A two-minute walk will take you to the public transportation TART stop at Tavern Inn. This bus will take you to Tahoe City with a short bus ride where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Being close to HWY 89 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas, with just a 13-minute drive to Truckee and an 8-minute drive to Tahoe City. In the winter time, enjoy being only a 3-minute drive from the Olympic Valley Ski Resort and less than 10 minutes from Alpine Meadows.

Even if it hasnât snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
