While I respect the ability for guests to leave fair and honest reviews, I am curious what happened to cause this guest to leave such a poor review. As the owner and host of this property I went out of my way to accomodate this guest. The initial reservation was for 2 people and a pet. Within the week prior to check-in the guest informed me that another person would be joining them. I had no issue with that because I don't charge an additional fee for extra guests. I made another bed for the additional guest and prepared the unit for 3 guests and a dog. I was alerted by the guest that the hot water was not working on the first morning so I relit the water heater and fixed that problem rather quickly. While I was lighting the water heater the guest informs me they added another guest and they had to find bedding from their vehicle for the fourth guest to use. I let them know I would have gladly made an additional bed for them had I known. Again...there is NO upcharge for additional guests at my rental. During the stay their dog got loose twice and chased my chickens all over the yard and was even up the road at the neighbor's house. :( Late Saturday evening I received a phone call asking for more bottled waters. I graciously took more bottle waters to the camper. Had the guest been honest and forthcoming about the number of guests, I would have stocked more waters in the fridge to begin with. Our listing is accurate and depicts exactly what the unit looks like and the property as well. It's a real working farm with livestock.
