Spacious, nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Groceries, gas and restaurants are close by. Home had everything we needed!

Only a few suggestions! Mirrors in the bedrooms would really help, especially when you have an ever and everyone is getting ready at the same time.Also, the window in front if the fireplace is broken we assume you know but you could feel the AC coming through.Lastly and this is personal preference for sure, but lounge chairs by the pool would have kicked everything up a notch.Overall we loved it. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It is in a great central location with access to both beaches, amusement parks, antique shops and many other attractions. The host was very responsive with all our requests or concerns. Check in was easy. Beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well equipped for a long stay. I would suggest that they get some sort of cable or satellite television for some of us older folks that don't have all the streaming apps. Heating the pool would also be a plus.

Beautiful House

Loved the pool, kitchen and bedrooms. Communication with the host was great and they were very accommodating to our needs. Would definitely stay again the next time we’re in town

Great house on the edge of town

The stay was canceled 4 hours before check after driving 16 hours to get there. Called contact and unable to find a place to stay.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m really sorry your trip ended up starting that way because having plans change after a long drive is never easy. The cancellation was due to an unexpected issue at the property that had to be addressed right away, and we didn’t want to check you into a place that wasn’t safe or ready. I know that doesn’t take away the frustration of scrambling for a backup option, but the call was made to protect the quality of your stay. We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback, and we truly hope your travels after that point went a lot smoother.

Great getaway

Retired couple who were in town for grandsons baseball games in Lakeland. House and neighborhood are terrific. Publix nearby is convenient.Electric recliners walk in showers and sturdy shower seat helped my wife who has MS. The pool is pretty big and very private.Laundry and kitchen areas are spacious and up to date. We’re relatively new to house renting but this is by far the best one we’ve stayed at. If the grandson is still in Lakeland we’ll be trying to rent this house again!!!

Disappointing

Entry way dirty and moldy, pool needs to be resurfaced, pool patio dirty and full of spider webs, numerous fence panels down, water leaking from the wall in bathroom, mold in bathroom, outside furniture unsafe to use. Disappointing, left early and got a hotel.

Sorry to hear the stay didn’t live up to expectations. We know how frustrating it is to show up somewhere and feel like things aren’t right from the jump. Once the leak was reported, we got a plumber out as soon as possible. They confirmed the shower issue and took care of it, and also let us know they didn’t find any mold. Still, we get that the situation left a bad impression, and that’s never what we want for our guests. Appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Feedback like this helps us catch things and keep improving.

Need a new cleaning and maintenance company

The pool was nice. Beds were comfortable. Communication with host was good. However, while fixing dinner the first night we noticed that several cups, bowls and utensils had food caked on them so we hand washed and then loaded the dishwasher with several dishes we knew we were going to use so they would be clean. There is a lot of roach droppings in all cabinets and drawers in kitchen. We wanted to take showers after swimming the first evening but all the white towels in the master bathroom were damp and smelled like mildew (like they were removed from the dryer way too soon) so we had to wash and dry all of them before using. The master shower head leaked as well as the faucet in the 2nd bathroom sink. There are weeds growing inside the lanai and in the gutters. Pool deck was black with dirt/mold. It would be a super cute house if it were maintained and cleaned properly. We just wanted a place to relax and enjoy after 7 months of dealing with husbands major medical issues but I felt like I spent majority of my time cleaning everything that should have already been cleaned before we arrived. You may want to look into a different cleaning company.
