I apologize for your concerns and wish you would have reached out during your stay. The dehumidifier in the laundry room should have been left in prior to your arrival due to the changing temperature spring brings. I could have simply suggested you plug it in. As for any nest, I definitely wish you would have reached out with a concern so I could assure you there are no rats. We did have a flying squirrel try to get in so I had all the eaves checked. And if there was anything you noted to the contrary, I would have certainly had them rechecked! I certainly would have appreciated the opportunity to dispel those concerns so that you could fully enjoy your stay.

I certainly apologize for these items. The sectional initially showed wear on just the corner and suddenly began peeling in other spots. I spent several weeks looking for a new one but with COVID delays, would not get delivery during the summer season. It is such a comfortable sectional that I am now considering having it reupholstered, but either will unfortunately be after the seasons slows. In the meantime, I purchased a sofa cover to help eliminate more wear ( and cover some of the temporary upholstery tape repairs). The chair ottoman is indeed stained and will also either be replaced or recovered. I was able to at least purchase new porch furniture this spring despite COVID delays. As for the rug, the bias tape edging had loosened and is being remedied. I am not sure about any exposed light bulbs, other than the typical fixtures 8n the basement laundry but I will certainly look to see if any other fixture is missing a cover. Our large project this year was redesigning and rebuilding the stairs to the second floor to allow ample headroom at the top . The next off -season project is to complete the basement bath. We began with tiling the large shower floor and will continue the tile in the vanity sink area as well as replace the sink and add an access panel to cover the whole above the toilet that resulted from a plumbing repair. I am truly glad you enjoyed the location and sorry you felt the need to cut your trip short.
