A beautiful and comfortable base for our adventures in the Methow Valley. Sitting by the river in the evening after our day of mountain biking and golfing was a delight.
The add stated hot tub no hot tub no washer and dryer no bbq Host said we were a day early in which we were not host said cabin still dirty and would give us a extra day to stay the shower was disgustingly dirty found dead bugs in coffee cups steps to creek were in need of repair felt like they were constantly being watched then host stated that she had a new booking and wasnt going to give us the free day we stayed one night and left very disappointed drove 4-1/2 hours to get there want a refund I have pictures of add stating hot tub and other amenities in which she changed add next day
Loved it. We came back from the Twisp market feeling like boiled lobsters and getting in the river up to our necks felt heavenly. Had that belly laugh feeling. Worth every dollar just for that. Everything else was incidental. But Susan was really friendly to us, so I guess I should mention sheâs a great host. She made a trip to town for propane even though we said we werenât going to barbecue. We could have changed our minds!
I have a soft spot for the methow valley so coming to stay here was a treat! A cute and modest cabin for an agreeable rate. Would happily come back here again! Really enjoyed the chickens even though they woke us up early :)
This cabin is cozy but adequate for what we needed. It was a bit of a surprise to see that the bathroom is not attached but rather in a separate building. The host provided some nice treats and items for breakfast which was great! We will return another time.
Hi My name is Susan Karlsen Im originally from the Northwest. I now live in the North Cascade Mountain Range. I grew up on skis My parents worked at Stevens Pass. We traveled and camped out in nature a lot which instilled a tremendous appreciation to nature. We live on Twisp River. It's teaming with an abundance of wildlife and four distinct seasons. There are no street light so it breathtaking to sit outdoors in the evening, listen to the crickets and watch the stars. Each season brings new adventures and wildlife to observe. If you love the great outdoors, outdoor activities or just need some tranquil peace and want to sit and listen to the sounds of nature and the river then you have come to the right place Enjoy
I chose this location because there are no close by neighbors but if you go for a walk or go into town I promise people are smiling at you waving to you. Its like going back in time where things were simple and people were friendly.
We have a surrounding view of mountains and trees and we are siting on Twisp River In the morning and evening you can look out and see deer drinking from it or watch the ducks, Canadian Geese, Turkeys Hawks and Eagles fly by.
