Situated on the highest point of the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau, this newly built custom home is located in Chinquapin an exclusive high-end mountain preserve immersed in nature. Chinquapin was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal in an article entitled: "Summer Camp For Grown Ups" highlighting the dynamic, amenity-rich outdoor living experience families enjoy when visiting Chinquapin. The amenities include numerous hiking trails with some leading to beautiful waterfalls, fishing ponds, fire pits, pickleball courts, driving range, playground, Putt-Putt golf, archery range, batting cage, frisbee golf, basketball courts and a fitness room at the clubhouse. If that isn't enough to keep you busy Cashiers is only 15 minutes away with unique boutiques, seasonal festivals and local restaurants. Saphire Valley for snow skiing is also 15 minutes away. 
This custom home features 3 master bedrooms with king sized beds and custom ensuites, one being outside the main house above the garage. I was born in Nashville, Tennessee in a music business family and went to college at Auburn University in Alabama. After college, I moved to the Atlanta area where I currently live with my husband and three sons. My venture into vacation home ownership began in Destin on our very first trip in 2001. The gorgeous white sandy beaches and emerald waters were the perfect place to relax and watch my boys play on the beach during our yearly vacation.
I dreamed of one day owning my own vacation home and in 2008 I had the opportunity to make that dream a reality with a condo in the beautiful 30-A area. My family made many vacation memories there. I found I enjoyed sharing my home with others and helping them create memories. Ten years later, in 2018, I purchased Deja Blue, a townhouse at Prominence Resort across from the very popular Hub now known as The Big Chill. Then, in 2019 I bought a condo at Seagrove Highlands in the 30-A area. I renovated it to provide my guests with clean, comfortable, luxurious surroundings.
I discovered Kiva Dunes, a premier golf and beach resort located in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores in 2021 and was able to purchase there in 2022. I renovated this condo as well and it turned out beautifully!
I found Chinquapin and fell in love with the area and all the community has to offer. It's a great escape from the heat and a great way to enjoy nature.

There are two gas starting fireplaces, one indoors and one outdoors. A gas starting grill is provided. There is a hot tub. There are games and corn hole outside. All master bedrooms have smart TV's as well as living area. There is plenty of parking and a carport space as well. Most amenities are within walking distance.
