Ides Cabin est une maison unifamiliale de deux étages pouvant accueillir jusqu'à dix personnes.

La cuisine bien équipée comprend un grand réfrigérateur, une cuisinière et un lave-vaisselle. La salle à manger peut accueillir six personnes à la table et des sièges supplémentaires au bar pour cinq personnes. Le salon dispose d'une cheminée à bois, d'un canapé-lit, de nouvelles grandes fenêtres offrant une vue magnifique sur les pistes de ski, d'un lecteur CD et d'une télévision à écran plat de 81 cm avec lecteur DVD. Il y a une deuxième salle familiale au rez-de-chaussée avec une table de ping-pong, une télévision 20 pouces avec lecteur DVD et une cheminée à gaz. La première chambre, située au niveau principal, dispose d'un lit queen. Les deuxième et troisième chambres sont à l'étage inférieur, l'une avec un lit queen et l'autre avec un ensemble de lits superposés. Il y a deux salles de bain complètes dans la propriété, une au niveau principal et une en bas. Une grande terrasse est située au rez-de-chaussée du salon. Le pont du niveau inférieur comprend un barbecue au charbon de bois et un local à skis au niveau inférieur. Détendez-vous dans le sauna! La maison est située juste sur la route de la piste de ski Home Again. Les animaux domestiques sont acceptés, et nous demandons des frais de nettoyage supplémentaires de 87 $.

Great place for a mountain getaway!

This place was a great cozy escape after a long day out and about. I had 6 people including myself staying here and we had a great time.

Nice property for family

The property was able to accommodate a party of 10 individuals, though we decided to use a blow up matress to make it a little more comfortable for one of our members. The property is clean, with all the amenities expected. Yes it is a little dated, however it was expected and was perfectly fine considering it was a little less expensive than other similar size properties. I would consider this place again if we go back and visit Glacier at another time.

Mountain fun

Enjoyed the entire area glacier np was great whitefish lake is just down the hill and weather was great. As for the cabin. It needs ac in a big way it retains all heat and won’t cool down I wouldn’t stay here again unless they added it. also the furniture is from a garage sale here or there very basic. Other then that everything was great thanks

Hi Derick, Thank you for your input on this property. We compile a list of concerns our guests have and pass them along to the owners of these properties, so this review helps us greatly. We also hope the owners will update the furniture a little bit as well; the house would then be quite nice! If a property has no AC, we advise our guests to open the windows and night and let the cool mountain air into the house and then close the windows/draw the blinds during the day to avoid the property heating up too much. Unfortunately, the week you stayed with us was one of the hottest weeks of the year where the temperatures were in the upper 90's. We highly advise guests to inquire about booking a unit with AC if they are coming to stay during times with extreme heat. Our confirmation and pre-arrival emails state as such. Sorry Can't Recommend

This place is badly in need of an update. I don't mind that fact that it is old but please at least provide updated linens. Because there has been no updates done to the place in a very long time it feels dirty. The lay out is great and fit our family well but please consider putting a little bit of money into the place. For those of you skiing, it is pretty long walk to the ski trail. We ended up getting dropped off every day because we had younger kids. On a positive note, parking was great, The mountain staff did a great job of clearing the snow.

Great Location, Worn Out Cabin

We loved the location of the property that we stayed at. Whitefish mountain resort was filled with great things to do. But the house we stayed in needs to be updated. Much of the furniture looks like it came from the 60s or 70s. Some of it was badly worn, even broken. Even though the resort staff cleaned the property, there were places in the house where it appears that it had been much overlooked--like dust on the fans, the lawn not being kept up, and the appliances of the house not being well-maintained. I don't normally give bad reviews on the properties we stay at. But for the price of the house, and the location of the house, it should be pointed out. Please update the house and make it fit into the beautiful location that it is located in.

The pictures and property description is accurate. This property is privately owned and all changes/updates to the house are decided on and done by the owner. Some owners of property here on Whitefish Mountain Resort prefer their property to remain unchanged and thus let their property go out of date. Because of this, Whitefish Mountain Resort properly adjusts the rates to match the status of the property. Disappointing -Not as listed

First of all, check-in, check-out was very inconvenient. Picked up the key 1/4 mile away from property. Had to wait 30 minutes to return key as property mgt co didn't open until 8am. No key drop off. No access to front door-It just led, from the inside, to small fenced yard of weeds. Large pet stain on carpet downstairs. Furniture & beds very dated & uncomfortable. Plywood sticking out under mattress caused injury to my husband's leg. Coin Operated OLD washer & Dryer. Really? Questionable neighbors. LARGE burn barrel fire during summer fire ban. Extreme fire danger. Overall, disappointing.

Debbie - we are sorry to hear your stay with us was not as expected. We do manage over 120 individually owned properties here at Whitefish Mountain Resort, so we need to have a central check-in for all units. We do allow our guests to leave property keys in the unit upon check out if we are not open for the day if departing before 8am. We have submitted work orders to our maintenace team to clean the carpets and look into the bedding issue you have brought to our attention. Both the washer and dryer do not require payment, though do still have the coin slide as that cannot be removed.

Accommodating

We felt as if we were staying in a “subdivision”. The windows were open, because there is no A/C., and the neighbors dogs barked at all different times through night, and early morning. They were very accommodating to give us a fan. A heat wave came through during the time we stayed. The area hasn’t been mowed or trimmed up at the very least. There was no view, from any area of the cabin. The place reminded us of the cabins we stayed in while snowmobiling in the UP. The cabin is old and outdated. Which isn’t a big deal. What is disappointing is how dirty things were. The dining chairs are disgusting and stained. The sleeker soda downstairs was stained, carpeting was stained, towels were stained, and upstairs bathroom had thick dust. This place needs some TLC!

For future guests: This property is accurately described in it's property description. It is a standalone home in the Tamarack Loop neighborhood. The address is correct and is easily accessible on the site map on VRBO's website. Guests booking this property are fully aware of the location of the property. The owners of this property are fully aware of the status of all aspects of the house and are in control of updating their property when they so choose. As property managers, Whitefish Mountain Resort does it's best to meet the standards of each guest that comes to stay with us at the resort. Due to an industry-wide shortage of staff, some issues may take longer than normal to be addressed. Guests may have to be patient as we work to solve any issues that arise during their stay. the unit all be it in a great location is a bit aged in every way.

TV, DVD players did not work. They are very old and there are so many remotes, most of which the batteries were dead in, that it was like doing brain surgery to get it to work. Things were plugged into the wrong ports on the TV and players. Everything was a mess. And to top this there are no instructions on what does what from a remote and channel perspective. Beds are very uncomfortable. My wife woke up with a neck and back pain that lasted for 3 of the 4 days. In the kitchen, there need to be better cooking tools. The can opener is broken, which meant all the things we bought we could not use with dinner every night! Lower entry door is very difficult to lock. To the point that you think it is locked, but it's not! This could be dangerous.

Spring Getaway To Whitefish

The Ides condo at Whitefish Ski Resort, was the perfect place for our family for a spring getaway. It’s in a great location giving us beautiful views of Whitefish mountain. Thank you for making out first-time stay in Montana so comfortable.

Ski Resort Cabin

The property itself is clean and nice, but dated. Upon our arrival we didn't realize we were staying at a resort, we thought it was just an individually owned cabin. Since we arrived late and the front desk was closed, it took some doing to get in touch with an answering service who then contacted resort security to go to the main lodge and get our keys. This was much more complicated than we were anticipating, since we've been staying in individually owned properties across Canada. However, the resort workers we interested with were all very nice and professional, so that was great.

Great Property!

Great location only a few minutes walk to the lifts. Very cozy cottage with an excellent 'mountain' feel to it. Comfortably fit 10 of us for the weekend. The sauna in house is amazing after a day on the hill!! Mattresses on the pull out beds and cot could use updating, but otherwise extremely comfortable and well laid out.
