There were a couple oddities - all the hand and bath towels were wet upon arrival (that took a long time to dry in the dryer), some of the interior and exterior light didn't all work, light switches throughout the house were a bit confusing (i.e. dimmer went up instead of down). Overall though, it was a great experience. The owner was very responsive and helpful and the house was very clean.
My family and I stayed at for 2 nights and while the house has potential, it wasnât very clean. The walls were dirty, furniture was run down, beds werenât very comfortable (mattresses felt old and saggy). The living room smelled a bit like dog/ urine. It also liked basic things extra bedding and towels. We found an old twin mattress in our bedroom closet with stains on it. The outdoor trash cans were full and clearly hadnât been picked up in a while (smell wasnât great).
Small nit, but I also had to reach out the host about the check in instructions multiple times before it was actually sent to us.
We arrived after dark, and there are no lights leading up the stairs to the front door, making unloading a bit treacherous. There was not a welcome book and it was difficult to sort out the lights inside as well. The house was a good size for our family. However, the VRBO website indicated that there were 2 pullout beds and there are none. So our youngest had to sleep on the floor. The kitchen was well appointed, but the dishwasher did not work well. We wanted to freshen our bath towels as we were there a week, however the clothes dryer did not work well either. The weather was nice so we were able to take advantage of the many outside patios and sitting areas although they were a bit unkept. The location is ideal, and the house is a very interesting southwest architecture that we all enjoyed and appreciated. I would recommend this house, just be aware of the few things I mentioned above.
We spent one night in this property. The parking instructions were very confusing. The house was filled with random books, textbooks, binders and papers on every bookshelf in every room. Trash and equipme t was piled outside. Walls were dirty and crumbling. Drawers filled with random items and trash. Would not stay again.
