Construction brought unwanted peats

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is beautiful. We stayed only a few hours as the construction on the building brought out unwanted pests. The condo was super clean so don’t feel like it was from anything other then the construction. Brooks and Shorey sent us to another building. We always use B&S and will continue to, just won’t book when construction is going on again.

Little slice of paradise!

We have been staying at the island princess for 3 years now it’s forever our home away from home and the best place we have ever stayed! We stayed in room 309 very spacious and clean every year. Beautiful view and my kids always enjoy the pool especially after a day at the beach!

Property was great and with 3 BRs and 3 Bathrooms, it was very comfortable. Mgmt was responsive when I reported that the hot tub wasn't working. I will definitely be back soon.

Great Condo!

The kitchen could be a little better stocked with sharper knives and a couple blankets in the closets would be awesome! My only complaint is that the pool was freezing. It advertises the pool being heated, yet when the lows were in the 50’s, they didn’t have the heater on. I know that is not the condo owners fault! Overall we loved this unit and would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our families first experience staying directly on the beach/ocean front which was great! I don’t think we will ever stay off the beach again. The condo was plenty spacious for our family. Having the beach chair service included in our stay was fantastic and so worth it! The beach service guys catch a lot of flack from customers and don’t get enough credit for their hard work keeping families happy and accommodated. My only complaint was that I did find some unswept trash under the furniture but visible, the master bedroom mirror was covered with dust and the ceiling fans are very dusty and dirty. One day the water was shut off for a couple hours for repairs by the HOA and then the next day pest control came by to do routine bug spraying. We were called ahead of time about the water but not notified about the bug spray. I later found that i was emailed regarding the bug spraying but who is reading emails on vacation? It wasn’t a huge inconvenience so I’m not complaining. Outside of that, our stay was amazing and we were very pleased!! Would definitely recommend this condo!

We will definitely be back!

The location was absolutely perfect! A short distance from Destin and lots of great restaurants just a few blocks away. The view was incredible and ease of access to the beach was a dream. The amenities the unit had to offer made our trip even easier traveling with an 8 month old. Loved that every room has its own bathroom as well! We will definitely be back!

Loved it!

We had a great time staying here! Great space for all of us. Three bathrooms were perfect. Comfy and felt at home:) Beach service with the umbrellas and chairs was awesome. We rented paddle boards several times from the chair service guys and it was so convenient to have available right there. Would be nice if pool rules were enforced (there was loud music, lots of smoking, etc) but I’m sure those things vary as different guests stay. Overall, great place to stay! This was our third summer on Okaloosa Island and we just love it so much!

Not like panama city

This place is alot more family oriented with less traffic than Panama city. Beaches were pretty good when we got down there the only downside was algae in the water but they can't control that other than that nice place to stay

Great Stay for a good price

We have stayed at Island Princess in the past but not this particular condo. The overall stay was great. We enjoy the area because it is a little more laid back and not as crowded but still many things to do and a 10 minute drive to Destin. The beach chair/umbrella was better this year than last much less confusing. So those that go know, the property owners and paid reserved get priority and are reserved. The free ones that come with room are first come first serve so you go get the one you want that are not reserved and you are good for the day. This particular condo was very nice. Good location close to central elevator. But being on 3rd floor we used the stairs majority of the time. The condo was nice. We are not real picky since you are renting a condo you are going to have things great and things not so great. Condo had the basics of what we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall cleanliness was good. Would have been nice to have a broom so we could sweep up, but not a big issue. As the overall experience, everyone had a great time. No bed is like your own bed. Condos don't replace furniture every week for new guest. For those that complain about those two issues! We thought it was a nice condo for a good price. We did enjoy the fact we rented it from Friday to following Sunday. the two extra days rather than the standard Sat to Sat requirement, made the trip even better

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Island Princess was pretty good. Overall we were happy with our stay. The location is perfect and you can't beat th ocean view from the balcony. There were a few issues that came up. The hot water isn't very good and runs out quickly. Also, the floors were pretty dirty from th moment we got there. There was a roach in the kitchen but the biggest issue was the sliding doors leading to the balcony. We couldn't figure out how to close them completely and it made the condo extremely muggy and uncomfortable!Even though there were some issues it was still a fun stay for our family! Also the customer service was phenomenal. The company also does a great job of communicating and updating you. Probably better than anyone I have ever dealt with. Brooks and Shorey answered any questions and made us feel welcome during our stay
