Profitez de Glen Arbor dans cette maison historique unique de 4 chambres / 3 salles de bain qui peut accueillir jusqu'Ă  12 personnes. Cette maison appartenait autrefois au fondateur de Glen Arbour et est un petit morceau de l’histoire de Glen Arbour. "Barefootin" est une excellente maison et est une promenade facile Ă  une belle plage du lac Michigan sur une route de terre calme. La maison Ă  2 niveaux fait face Ă  l’est, situĂ©e sur le chemin River. (M-22). Dort jusqu'Ă  12.

 3 grandes chambres Ă  l'Ă©tage principal ont chacune 1 lit Queen. Spacieux, les dortoirs ouverts Ă  l'Ă©tage sont dotĂ©s de 2 lits Queen, de 2 lits jumeaux et d'une tĂ©lïżœïżœvision. Salle de bain au niveau supĂ©rieur avec grande douche Ă  l'italienne. Cuisine complĂšte avec lave-vaisselle et table Ă  manger pour 10. Laveuse / sĂ©cheuse. TĂ©lĂ©vision directe (service limitĂ© en hiver / printemps.), DVD, WIFI, chaĂźne hi-fi dans toute la maison avec station d'accueil pour iPod. Nouveaux appareils, nouveaux meubles, nouvelle dĂ©coration! Oh mon! >
 À l'extĂ©rieur, profitez de la magnifique terrasse et du patio. Parfait pour un rendez-vous autour du foyer en fin de journĂ©e. Façade sur la riviĂšre Crystal juste en face de la maison avec 2 kayaks fournis. Gril Ă  gaz et foyer.

Un endroit idĂ©al pour rester quand vous voulez profiter de Leelanau. À seulement 5 minutes en voiture de l'ascension du Sleeping Bear Dunes. À 5 minutes Ă  pied de Sunset Point Beach, sur le lac Michigan, avec une vue magnifique sur les Ăźles North et South Manitou. Le M22 est situĂ© Ă  800 mĂštres au cƓur de Glen Arbor oĂč vous pourrez dĂźner, faire du shopping et mĂȘme jouer au mini-golf! Une pĂ©tanque et un croquet sont prĂ©vus pour s'amuser en plein air. Des jeux de sociĂ©tĂ© sont Ă  la maison pour ces rares jours de pluie. Descendez la rue et louez un vĂ©lo pour visiter la rĂ©gion. Putt Putt & Paddle est Ă©galement accessible Ă  pied pour s'amuser sur la riviĂšre Crystal.
Rénovée dans un esprit «vert», cette maison est dotée d'accessoires de salle de bain à faible débit, de LFC et de bacs de recyclage fournis.

The location was very convenient to Glen Arbor (walking distance) and many other locations. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, the most pleasant surprise - 3/10 miles up the side street is a public pet friendly beach that is never had too many people. We had 6 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs - never felt like we needed more space. No reservations in coming back.

The house is spacious, full of charm, and has plenty of character. It easily accommodated our large family and even our small pug. We loved being just a short walk from beautiful Lake Michigan and downtown Glen Arbor. The yard games provided by the host were much appreciated. The only reasons I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 were the proximity of the house to the road and the number of cobwebs we noticed.

Quaint stay

We had a great time at Barefootin on 22! The Great Granddaughters loved the upstairs bedroom. Close to all the quaint little towns to explore.

Glen Arbor Historic cottage

It was beautiful and spacious. We all enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy each others company but also have space of our own. The kayaks were fun and the beach was very close! Just a suggestion- would be great to have oven mitts and kitchen towels but otherwise great!

Great Glen Arbor Vacation

The house is right on M22 but still felt like a cozy getaway. Plenty of space for our large extended family to relax in and out. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious enough for a few cooks to create wonderful meals. Highly recommend it for a large group of older kids and adults. Matt was a great host and available for questions!

Great option for families.

It is, as described, a historic property, so do not be disappointed by lack of a modern floor plan or furnishings. Main floor is spacious, and very quiet despite proximity to M22. The upstairs suite was great for two grandsons and their parents. We all enjoyed congregating on the back deck, and the short walk to the Lake was a special feature.

Beautiful location - spacious home

This home is ideally located for kayaking the Crystal River (across the street). The dune hike is a short drive away. The quaint town of Glen Arbor is less than a mile away. Lake Michigan sunsets are less than 1/2 mile away. Home was very large and had a nice set up with a hangout space upstairs

Lovely Beach

Short walk to a GREAT beach!! We loved walking up the beach into the town of Glen Arbor in the mornings to get our coffee. House is very roomy. Beds are comfy. Upstairs is huge, it was great for our college age kids. Outdoor area was a bit overgrown and road noise was loud, so we walked down to the beach for most of our outdoor relaxing. Location is a good launching point for visiting all the nearby towns.

Great house in Glen Arbor

House was great size & had everything we needed for a 3 family trip in late summer. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. Wish check out time was a little later or flexible, but understand the cleaning of this large house takes time. Booking was easy & mgmt company thorough. The house is a short walk to swim or watch the sunset at Lake Michigan. About 1 mile walk to town for a bite, brew, or browse of th shops.

Home Away From Home

I cannot say enough good things about this place. THE LOCATION!!! It's a 5 minute walk down our street to lake Michigan, the river across the street you can kayak, and a 15 minute walk to town. The house is amazing and so much space for 12 people. We came here for our friends birthday and it was the perfect place for us to all be together. We will absolutely be back

We felt the same inviting, cozy atmosphere that we felt years ago. The space is so large for our family and dogs and we love the walk to the beach. Lots of room to spread out and so close to town and bike trails. We are buying a home in Glen Arbor but will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family!

Okay overall but "a few feet literally" from a very busy noisy highway (not completely unexpected) and noisy bridge replacement project (completely unexpected) with very noisy large water pump 24/7. Both very noisy. Spacious and very clean except for the mice and poop; we caught 2 with available traps but there were more. Communication (by text) was mostly nonexistent, took days if ever, essentially unresponsive to simple requests. Some issues with lights. No kitchen windows opened -- needed for fresh air when cooking. Property needs a specific named Host with a cell phone that is responsive like every VRBO or similar we've ever stayed at. Host by committee/office means no one is responsible or responsive. Otherwise liked the location close to Glen Arbor and gorgeous beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The curb appeal is lacking and is on a fairly busy road. However, once you start enjoying the house it makes up for location. The 10 friends enjoyed the very large living and dining areas. The kitchen and baths have been updated; watch your balance on the shower tiled floors though. The owner was very responsive and brought over a new toaster and coffee pot the day after we reported it. Management was very responsive also. Would recommend this house for a large group.

Upon our arrival we found the house was not all that clean. Hair in the showers, dust everywhere. One of the first floor bedrooms could not be used due to the slumping mattress. The couches in the main room were also slumping and uncomfortable. Lack of vents in the bedrooms made it very warm.

The kayaks were an unadvertised treat. So close to Lake Michigan or town makes this a prime location. If you don't want to paddle to the lake, just carry the kayaks down the road 1/4 mile to a private beach.Our only 'not so great' comment would be to ask the cleaners to get the dust & webs from the light fixtures, doorways and corners more often. But it is a great home with lots of character.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is much larger than it looks on the outside. We had a group of 7 adults and 2 dogs, and still had plenty of space for everybody to hang out, sleep, shower, etc. The decor of the home is a charming mix of old and new. There is a public beach just down the street (within walking distance, but maybe not if you are hauling a bunch of beach gear with you). Downtown Glen Arbor is just a mile down the road. The house was clean and comfortable. The yard is a bit small, and the home is of course on a busier road, but the noise wasn't an issue for us (it gets very quiet at night). I would love to stay here again soon!

Disney 218 takes over Barefootin on M22

Very old Gas station now rental property worked out perfectly for a group of friends to crash at for a wedding in Glen Lake! This property has a lot of character and a bit different layout because as mentioned it use to be a service station! With that said, if you have little ones be aware it is right next to main road so if you open the back door, keep the screen door latched. Check in process with rental company is very easy to deal with. (They even worked with us on the possibility of getting in early. That just depends on the order the homes get cleaned it sounded like) Place was very clean on arrival. And no issues with the property itself. IF you have never been to Glen Lake, the house is very close to “downtown”. Also Lake Michigan is a short walk down the side street. And if you have an event to attend at The Homestead as we did, that is a very short drive as well. Would rent the house again when back in the area.

About as perfect as it comes

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For my group of 11 friends and I, this property was just about perfect. The walk up the street to the beach, the included kayaks, built in speaker system, fire pit, corn hole boards and grills were very nice amenities. The property was very clean and pretty much as explained in the description. The three bedrooms downstairs were quiet and the upstairs loft made it nice for an additional 5 friends to sleep comfortably. With the two tables outside on the deck there was enough seating for all eleven of us. Honestly the only two issues we had with the property was that the internet did not ever work correctly (Something the owner said he would look in to) and that the water heater didn't seem to keep up with my groups needs when getting ready for the day. There were a few of us that had to take lukewarm showers, which for some would have been dealbreakers. Overall a very nice property that is close to everything. Will stay at again!
