Beautiful Sunrises

Property was cozy and clean. The sunrises every morning were picture worthy. So many things to do in Marathon, the fishing was great and food was wonderful!

Our own beach

We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the family from Italy that shared our outdoor space. We did buy our own folding chairs to sit in inside. It would be helpful to have a couple of them there We enjoyed our time at the Keys.

Our tiny vacation house

Very small, nice water view and waterfront, but poor swimming area.very tight room, smaller than a small motel room.

Hello Thomas, thank you for your review, I'm sorry to hear you say that, the cabin is really small but very well equipped and comfortable for 2 people, it may not be as spacious as a hotel room, but unlike it it has all the comforts for cooking with a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, space to eat with its table and 2 stools, It also has a small room and bathroom as we have described on the page, I think it is more than the comparison with a motel. The beach, unfortunately we have no control over that, because it depends on the tides and the time of year, it really is shallow but as you enter the ocean it deepens. Anyway, I really appreciate your comment so that it can serve as a guide for future guests.

Great location

The room is on the small side but it is a great location. Direct beach access to the ocean with a great view. The rental has everything you need to make meals and then some. I would definitely stay here again. Check in was super easy and host was spot on with instructions. Im very happy we chose this rental.

Good things come in small packages

The prettiest sunrises I’ve ever seen. Property was as described. Cute and quaint. My only complaint is that The bed could use an upgrade.

February Getaway

This property is 100% as advertised. The owners are extremely attentive and responsive to any need that may arise. Perfect location on the north end of Marathon which makes Marathon and Islamorada within easy reach. Bahia Honda is just 30 minutes away.The unit is decorated and equipped as well as your own home. The attention to detail is amazing.

Very small we knew that the WiFi was horrible especially when someone else was staying in the other unit. They need to upgrade to a higher speed. The main reason we picked this. Was for the Fishing when the tide went out you had no water at all when tide was in maybe 3 feet at best wasn’t expecting this at all very disappointed in description about the Fishing.

Perfect weekend getaway

Our stay was perfect. We came in town for long weekend to celebrate my birthday. The location was in a great area and right on the beach. We felt very welcomed and safe. The host had a birthday cake, balloons and bottle of wine awaiting our arrival which exceeded our expectations. The rental was very clean and had everything we could possibly need to feel comfortable. They had kayaks, fishing poles and lots of yard games to keep us busy. We were extremely pleased with the quick communication with the host and overall really enjoyed our stay. This by far was one of our favorite weekend escapes and we are already looking forward to the next trip.

Misleading and ambiguous description

It stated no children and adults only. The adjoining cottage had 5 or 6 children. I would like a reimbursement for 6 days.

Hi Jim, I'm going to start by replying to your message,"Thanks Marjorie for the refund.", I did not do it, it was my son who did not have authorization to do it, and he did it by mistake and so that Vrbo would leave him alone, because he was at school and I was in a meeting, he is only a translator, because he is only 15 years old to make those kinds of decisions. I did not agree for 3 reasons: 1-For being a lying man and slandering, threatening and giving false testimonies. 2-For their bad intentions and ruthlessly breaking things to achieve a justification for refunding money. 3- For being a social misfit and justifying his lack of tolerance for children's laughter and joy with misleading justifications. I never want him on my properties again, may he do well and if he needs solitude, go to the mountains of ALASKA

Hello, I consider it to be in very bad taste that if everything on the page is well detailed and we are referring to a cabin with little space, you have given a 3-star rating only for the space, because as I see in the rest of the comments you gave 5 stars in: communication, cleanliness, accessibility, supply, incredible views, you could also have taken into account the games in the patio, washer, dryer and kayak, and not have been so superficial when making an evaluation, in any case we appreciate it.

Pros: - Location - it's super easy to do day trips to island hop from here - Unit is so thoughtfully furnished (kitchen items and being able to wash all swim things before heading home were super helpful) - Being right on the beach made for beautiful sunrises and we also took their kayaks out for a spin (just be sure to wear bug spray! and be mindful of the tides as water is super shallow here) Cons: - The main reason for not giving 5 stars is that the mattress was waaaayyyy to soft for us. IMHO needs to be replaced. - Wifi was pretty spotty (luckily we were not reliant on it)

Best Deal Around in a Beautiful Location

My husband and I decided to stay at this location for our honeymoon because it was centrally located in The Keys and it was not at one of the resorts. We like our space. We loved it!! It was clean, well appointed for a small space and the view was amazing. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. The grill was perfect for our shrimp and steak dinner and the kitchen was big enough to do all the other cooking. The bathroom has a full sized shower. Big enough for 2. Majorie, the host, even left a little surprise for us for our honeymoon. We were able to communicate with Marjorie the entire stay and she returned our questions very quickly. We love this place and hope to return soon.

The beach cabin was very nice. We had a few issues. The WiFi was not strong enough to do any remote work or stream from my computer to the tv. The door lock went kaput and we had to access the cabin using a key, which was fine. I was asked to change the batteries in the door lock but could not find batteries or a screwdriver. I purchased batteries and a screwdriver, replaced the batteries but the lock did not work. Someone came and replaced the lock while we were out and left a “semi” scolding message about touching the lock. No thanks for my efforts or any attempt to pay me back. Also they did not let us know that they were going to enter while we were out. The sand portion of the beach was nice but it was impossible to access the water at all due to the muck and mud at low tide and the “seaweed?”

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was responsive with all questions before and after booking. The kitchen, though small was more than enough to cook for two people and was well appointed . The location was perfect for local adventure or as a starting point for all activities to the Upper or Lower Keys. We loved our stay!
