The Steel Fin is in the heart of Topsail Island. Relax and enjoy the endless ocean views, beautiful sunrises, and spacious beaches from your own private access. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has been completely renovated with all new furnishing in 2023. Located only 3 miles south of the Surf City Bridge, you’ll experience the convenience of all the island has to offer.
On the Ground Level access to the house is through a wet/dry entry with a full 2 car garage and 3 additional outdoor parking spots.
On the First Level you can wake up in one of 3 ocean front bedrooms: King with Master Bath, Queen and 2 Doubles with shared bath. All bedrooms share an adjoining deck overlooking the scenic beach and Smart TVs.
The spacious master suite with adjoining master bath includes a comfortable King bed, 55” flatscreen TV and workspace for those who want to extend their vacations into a multiweek retreat.
Head up to the Second Level featuring an open concept floor plan with wall-to-wall ocean views, dining area that seats 6, countertop breakfast bar that seats 4, Queen bedroom, full bath, and living room with a 70” Smart TV

Beautiful Birthday Stay!

This was a birthday trip for me to have special family time with my kids & grandkids. The house was very comfortable & had such beautiful views from every room. The upstairs was so cozy. It was a chilly weekend, but we all still enjoyed the beach & games that were provided. I only wish we would have stayed one more night & got snowed in!!Bryan was very communicative & check in was effortless.

On The Beach and Pet Friendly

We had a nice stay with three adults and our two dogs. The house is as described and on a great spot on the beach. Excellent communication with the owner. You need all of your group to be good with steps as the main living is on the third floor (one nice, small bedroom and a full bath on the top floor). We are step friendly and our old dogs did well with the outside steps so worked well for us! Thanks for a great stay.

Location, location, location!

We loved Steel Fin. Located on an especially quiet stretch of Topsail, we had the beach to ourselves over the Christmas holidays. I love to cook and the kitchen is huge and well stocked with pots and pans and any utensil you might imagine. Bryan, the host, was great, very responsive. We look forward to visiting again.

One of the best rental at surf city

Everything is 5 stars! The beach decor of the house is so tasteful. The house is clean and updated. The whole family enjoyed our Thanksgiving at the beach at Steel Fin!

Fantastic beach house!

Home was incredibly clean, nicely furnished, and well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We could not have been more comfortable. Super close to the ocean, with stunning views from the deck. And the hosts were friendly and super responsive. We will be back!

Steel Fin Was Awesome

We had a great stay. The property was bright and spacious. Plenty of towels in the linen closet. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cooking supplies, a lot of pans, and every small appliance needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the balconies and beach. Awesome. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Lovely oceanfront home

The house was in a great location! Only a few miles from many restaurants, ice cream shops and attractions. Bryan was wonderful and very easy to work with. Definitely check this home out!

Beautiful and comfortable beach home

We had a wonderful stay. Bryan was easy to get in touch with, great communication. House as described, beautiful, well decorated, well maintained. Right on the beach, beautiful views, and perfect location at the mid-way between two public beach accesses (so no crowds around us at all). lots of items to use for beach as well as other items in the kitchen which was great. Hope to be back again in the future! 5 stars

We enjoyed the beauty of the home. It is furnished and decorated beautifully. We enjoyed all the chairs outside, beach chairs,rockers,swing, and deck. We loved that this beach area was a lot less populated! It was a fantastic vacation for our family ❤️

Wonderful vacation property

Perfect Vacation

This was a perfect week away and the house was fully stocked with everything needed to enjoy the beach. The deck is great for enjoying a view of the ocean. My wife and I typically come to topsail once or twice per year and this has been our favorite place to stay. The beach was not crowded and it was a short drive to town if you needed anything. We will definitely be back here.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was amazing! Everything we needed was there. Beautifully decorated and modern. Lots of towels and comfy bedding. The decks are perfect to enjoy the beach. The owner was very accommodating and quick in response. We will be back!

Relaxing Beachfront Vacation Home

We had an amazing stay at the Steel Fin! We were there for the first week in April so the beach was empty most of the time. The home was clean, well furnished and decorated, and looked even better in person than in the pictures. The beds were comfortable, we had ample towels and blankets, the home had everything we needed. The beachfront location was perfect, and we especially appreciated the gated porch for our dogs. Communication with the host was also great - he was friendly and quick to respond. This was a great home for a relaxing beach vacation and we hope to come back in the future!

Unlike most vacation home rentals, this house was so organized and had just what you needed. Bryan was a wonderful host with great communication. The house had a fantastic beach front view and lovely decor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing way to spend Christmas

We decided to do something different for Christmas this year and we are so happy we did. We got lucky with temps close to 70 each day and the house was more than we could imagine. It is bright, clean and well cared for. Everything was as described in the post and Bryan is so great. He's super responsive, kind and helpful. Check in was smooth. We were sad to go home. Hoping this becomes our annual Christmas family outing. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. We are grateful!

Great home, Great communication with Owner

We really enjoyed out stay. We went for a wedding, took the dog with us, and left the kids at home! Lots of fun on the beach with the dog during the day, enjoyed the deck at night, interesting walks at night watching the dog's expression when he saw the crabs. Kitchen had all of the basic needs plus others. Very easy to get to other places!

The Perfect Beach Get-Away!

We have rented many beach places over the years, but this ranks right at the top. Perfect location, great house. The small deck with benches at the bottom of the stairs to the beach is a perfect place to hang out. The house is laid out well, kitchen well stocked with everything needed to cook. Comfortable furniture and beds. Internet and TVs worked great. Host responded to messages, and got a wonky outdoor AC unit fixed immediately. Absolutely no negatives. Will be putting this one on repeat.

Perfect Beach Cottage

Communication, check-in and check-out all went smoothly. The location on the island was perfect for us. The house was everything we had hoped for and more. It was well appointed and beautifully decorated. We loved every minute and hope to rent again in the future.
