Our cabin rests beside Millcreek, and the view from the covered porch is delightful. You can take the stairs to the dock. It's a lovely place to fish or do yoga while sun comes up. Have your morning coffee while sitting on the porch watching geese and other water creatures. The cabin sets at the edge of a large field, which offers beautiful views as well. Clean and comfortable, the cabin offers one bedroom with a bunk bed (one double, one single) and another bedroom with a full-size bed. We offer a full kitchen with linens and towels provided, the cabin offers a respite from the busy world around us.

Close to small towns of Ravenswood and Ripley, WV, there are local restaurants, crafts, antiques and more! Point Pleasant, home of the Mothman Museum is a half-hour drive, and we're only 45 minutes from Charleston and Parkersburg. Enjoy a quiet relaxing stay!

****Important Information about flooding****

Our cabin sets near Millcreek which floods sometimes. When the Ohio River is high, it backs up to the area around the cabin. Flooding generally occurs only once or twice in the winter, if at all.

However, weather is unpredictable. Life on a creek or river always includes the risk of flooding.

Please note it is back water, so it comes up slowly. There is no danger of flash flooding.

We will contact you if flooding is an issue before or during your stay. If necessary, we may ask you to vacate your rental. If it floods right before your arrival, we may have to cancel your reservation. Sometimes we are able to accommodate you in another rental for your stay. We will do everything we can to accommodate you during these weather events.
