We were very happy with our stay. A very charming historic home with modern amenities. Very close walk to downtown restaurants. Convenient drive to wineries on Seneca. The host was very accommodating to our needs and quick to respond! Overall would recommend this place and definitely would stay again!
I'd like to be able to give a 3.5 star for this stay. I think in fairness, it's safe to say that some of our dissatisfaction came from us choosing the wrong place for our group but some of the choosing came from assuming we'd have outdoor space to hang (we didn't) and a kitchen to cook in (no way). If your group would like to spend time sitting outside, you won't and if you want to cook a meal, you can't. The kitchen is barely there. If more than one person is in there, you're falling over each other. The house was roomy and clean. There is a heavy musty odor (very old house) upon arrival but dissipated with use of the many fans, dehumidifiers and hepa filters. We had several house issues while there but the host was very attentive and communicative and tried earnestly to help. The house is located within walking distance of a very good coffee shop (yet which is so oddly closed on Saturday lol. Not this house's fault, we know). The beds are comfy, yet note to host: Please use washable mattress covers! One other note- the third bedroom with twin is barely a closet. Don't book if your fifth member is any older than 10 years old.
The house is beautiful and even though we were there the hottest weekend all year we all had a great time! It's spacious and located right in town. Would recommend!
We arrived at this row house and check in was as easy as could be. We entered and took a look around and the dwelling was better than I anticipated. Our hosts left everything for us that we needed and made check-in and check out super easy! We didn't have to empty the trash or strip the beds. It was a wonderful visit. We would definitely stay here again!
We were in the Geneva area for a Bridal shower ahead of my son and future daughter-in-law's wedding in the fall. This was a perfect location to walk into town to learn about the area. The home is lovely - beautifully decorated and welcoming. We appreciated the little details like wine and water in the fridge, creamer and pods for the coffee/tea and even a steamer for our clothes. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable with the ac units on a hot day. Other than perhaps a couple of extra mirrors around to help us get ready for the party, we could not have been more pleased.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Geneva thanks to this gorgeous home in the historic district. Lots of space and walkable to the downtown restaurants. The host provided everything we needed and it was exceptionally clean. A joy to spend time in while we explored Seneca Lake and also had a day trip over to Niagara Falls. A perfect stay- highly recommended!
The property was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect. Everything is in walking distance, and the house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely stay again, and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
We had a great stay in Geneva. The location of the row house is excellent - walkable to downtown, HWS and a great coffee shop in the morning. Property was very clean and well appointed and host communication was excellent. Would stay here again on return.
We came to Geneva for a birthday celebration with our Adult son and his wife. Thoroughly enjoyed this townhouse! Enough room for everyone and the kitchen and pantry were well equipped. Loved it.
We had a great stay while visiting our son at HWS. Very convenient location, walkable to town and campus. We really enjoyed the character of the home, very cute and updated.
I fell in love with the vibe of this spot the moment I saw it. My friends and I were in town to celebrate a wedding and wanted something a little more chill than a hotel room. Our hosts were great to communicate our arrival time with and we had everything we needed for the weekend! We spent the day lounging around before the wedding and the guys walked up the street to a sports bar to watch a game, so the location was really ideal! Just a note - if you are a hot sleeper, there are fans, so don't worry!
This is a charming house, perfect for our party and a great location. Easy walk into town for coffee and dinner. The hosts were so helpful with tips about places to eat and places to visit.
