A great one night stay close to the hospital in which I was working. It snowed overnight and my host finished shoveling the walk way as I was heading to work. I was happy from check in to check out. Thanks for a great stay!
Convenient location was a real plus. This place worked out very well for me.
I didn't realize, however, that I would need to provide towels, and had to run out and buy some. Other linens were provided.
I really have mixed feelings about my stay.
For just somewhere to crash at a low price, it was fine. In fact, I sense they did a lot to make a modified single-wide trailer house into a stayable place. There are newer fixtures and furniture, but things like wall paint and trim and such were done badly. It was a mix of nice touches and run-down details. I really liked the mini-counter with tall chairs in the kitchen, but weirdly, none of the kitchen cabinets or even the fridge had door handles.
The bedding was neatly presented but uncomfortable (blanket, no bedsheet) with very stiff pillows. I ended up using the ones from the couch. Again, no big deal but it would have been nice.
The one important thing everyone must know: THERE IS ALTERRNATE PARKING on the street. No signs, but according to odd and even numbers apparently. If I would have been told that, I would have avoided a cheap ($20) but still annoying ticket.
Lastly, I couldn't see the keypad for the lock at night and had to use my phone flashlight, so be sure to be aware of that.
I just feel this property would have been a dump if the host hadn't worked hard to get it to where it is, which really wasn't bad. For such a low price, I don't feel cheated, and I suspect it will improve for the next person. I wish the host and their future guests the best.
I need to be in Binghamton for work for a few nights and was just looking for some thing simple and affordable. This property offered that. You wonât find many properties more affordable for a nights stay. Everything was available and provided as advertised, and when my stay required communication with the property owners, they were responsive and very reasonable.
Nice little house behind a large home with everything you might need. Our only hiccup was we had to wrestle with the key for the doorknob. There is a m
