Resting on the beautiful, rugged Bailey Island coastline is this well-appointed 2BR, 1 BA cottage offering stunning ocean views, a spacious lawn, patio, and A/C for warm summer days. You'll love exploring the neighborhood, as well as the local restaurants and shops during the day and returning to the comforts of the cottage in the evenings to relax and soak in the sights and sounds of the ocean.

Inside the cottage you'll find a well-equipped kitchen with all you'll need to cook, a sitting area for 4, dining table, and two chairs overlooking the water. The full bathroom located on the first floor offers a large tile and glass shower. Upstairs, there are two ocean view bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a twin trundle bed, both opening to a shared balcony.

Outside, guests will enjoy a patio with a picnic table for dining outdoors, as well as a yard with adirondack chairs perched overlooking the bay and ledges.

We consider ourselves VERY lucky to have stumbled on this property last year. Beautiful views of the Ocean and Sunrise. A cozy modern home with a wonderful kitchen, eating area and living room. Beds are comfy and the outside area is wonderful. Hannafords and a Super Walmart are 20ish mins away and a nice drive to make.

My husband and I had an amazing time celebrating our 22nd Anniversary during our stay. The property was exactly as described and more. We will definitely plan another stay at Sea Spray on Bailey’s Island.

Right on the ocean, we enjoyed watching the lobstermen hauling in their traps, the occasional seal popping its head out of the water, and the wide variety of sea going birds, including a bald eagle. The property matched the description and was very clean and well maintained. We come to the Harpswell area every year and this is the BEST place we have stayed. We will return.

The cutest cottage in Maine!

This adorable cottage has everything we wanted! Incredible water views from every room. Lots out outdoor spaces with comfortable seating. Fully stocked kitchen. We would definitely come back!

Fabulous Maine Experience!

The property was even better than expected. We were there for only a few days but kept quite busy. Two days of golf at the Sebasco Resort along with watching the ducks swimming through the tidal pools in front of Sea Spray. The fresh lobsters from Watson’s General Store was a highlight of our trip.

Better than expected!

Beautiful location, super clean, great condition, and excellent communication throughout our stay. Cottage has many upgrades and appears to have recently been nearly completely re-done. Very comfortable. Lots of opportunities to sit comfortably and watch the ocean, both inside due to the many large windows, or outside on a variety of available chairs. Bed was very nice. Kitchen is nicely appointed and although we didn't use it too much appeared to be well-stocked with dishes, glasses, pans, utensils, etc. Overall highly recommend staying here!

Amazing seaside getaway!

We loved everything about this cozy house, from the incredible view to the well appointed kitchen. The location was perfect-convenient to the general store, nature walks, and still only a short ride into Brunswick’s commercial district. We appreciated the thoughtful additions like a stocked spice cabinet and gift bag! With only one bathroom it’s best suited for a couple or perhaps a small family. We can’t wait to come back!

The views are wide open water and the upstairs deck of the primary is perfect for reading or just watching the birds. The cottage is super clean and well appointed. Everything works. Kitchen is fully fully stocked. THe bed is super comfortable-it’s an adjustable saatva. The location is great-2 min walk to BIGs country store, post office and fishnet restaurant. Quick drive to other local spots. Will definitely return!

The cottage was spotless, had amazing amenities and was well- maintained. The customer service was the best. Excellent communications and very prompt replies. We highly recommend Sea Spray. Our grandson was enchanted by the cottage, the ocean, the Giant Stairs, Lands End and Cedar Beach. We all enjoyed dinner at Sunrenched Restaurant. The Coastal Maine Botanical Garden was a big hit- the trolls, the fairy houses and the children's garden and all of the beautiful gardens. The weather was perfect for swimming at Range Pond, cruising on the Kennebec River with the Maritime Museum in Bath, and visiting family in Brunswick. There is a wonderful playscape near Bowdoin that our grandson enjoyed. The sunrise over the ocean, the sound of the waves, watching the lobster boats and the kayaks and the people we met made this the best vacation.

Amazing views from nearly every spot in the house (especially the master bedroom) and a very comfortable interior. We like to cook and appreciated how well fitted out the kitchen was with dishes and cookware. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to bailey island for the last 4 summers and are constantly blown away by its tranquil, relaxed and peaceful spirit. our family of four love to just sit, enjoy the world class views and listen to the lapping waves and chugging motors of the lobster boats...Sea Spray was the perfect basecamp. With its gorgeous views from the open air-y kitchen/sun room you really cant get a better look at the ocean wildlife, stunning sun-rises and tidal flows over morning coffee. the house is beautifully remodeled (everything about it feels brand new!), the kitchen and living area is larger than any of the cottages we've stayed at on the island and the bedrooms are immaculate, modern and feature more amazing views and a perfect little sundeck to fall asleep on. There's plenty of comfortable seating inside and out, lots of space to park (we had 2 cars and we were able to leave them in the lot opposite the cottage), the lawn is perfect for laying out a blanket and listening to the blue tooth speaker and the curb appeal is second to none (Seriously, the view as you drive down to the house looks like a movie!!) the best part...we brought our bikes and our girls were safely able to ride the 5 minute trail to cedar beach. they loved being independent beach kids and we loved knowing they were safe on a ride basically free of cars. we love bailey island and are already booking our 5th summer

It was clean with all the amneties one could ask for. The access to the rocky beach in front of Sea Spray was perfect for beach combing while the sandy beach a short walk away was ideal for a swim on those hotter days. It was overall a stellar experience for a week vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful relaxing week for my husband and I on Bailey Island. This house is top notch. Just as pictured. It was so clean we felt like the first people to stay. All the appliances are top of the line. A view from every corner but my favorite was lying in bed watching the sunrise. The upstairs deck is perfect for reading a book and watching the boats sail by. It felt like we were on a ship. 2nd bedroom with the trundle is perfect for kids. The MainStay team were super responsive and helpful in planning our stay. “BIGS” general store is within walking distance and sells everything but great for a coffee in the morning or lobster roll in the afternoon. Two good restaurants within a mile from the house.
