Historic 1860 Charm, Modern Amenities Comfort. This home was built in 1860 as the very first impressive Italianate style home in Marion, it has some amazing history, and incredible original woodwork throughout. In 1910, it was converted into a duplex to provide homes for railway leaders as Marion brought the railway to Linn County. This is certainly a one of a kind stay, with just the right updates to make it comfortable, and just enough original aspects to make it memorable.
The house is charming and very homey. Our family had a great stay. We enjoyed the board games and love the Keurig coffee. The house is located in a nice neighborhood & has easy access to everything you need. Weâd definitely stay again!
We enjoyed our stay and the house is very well done, many details to help make it an enjoyable stay including sound machines in each room, and pretty much anything you may need. I appreciated that products provided were of good quality too. The location of the house was perfect, super close to fun shops, coffee, restaurants, etc. Our family with young kids stayed while attending a wedding and it was perfect. My only wish was while the one bathroom had a charming claw foot tub/shower, it wasn't very practical for getting ready quickly. But overall would recommend and would stay again!
Angieâs house was perfect for our weekend stay. The house was clean, well-appointed, and inviting. Angie was very responsive to any question we had. Would absolutely stay again!
We were in town for a youth convention. We did not have nearly enough time to enjoy this beautiful house. Historic charm, combined with updated amenities made this a lovely and comfortable place to stay.
