The Space

Upon arriving at Country Character, you’ll find plenty of parking with a spacious driveway that accommodates up to five vehicles, along with an attached two-car garage.

Relax on the front patio or back terrace while watching cattle graze across the road and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Inside, you’ll be welcomed by a bright dining area with a convenient entryway closet for coats and shoes. The modern farmhouse dining table and comfortable upholstered chairs create the perfect gathering space for meals, games, and conversation.

House is perfect if you want to escape from EVERYTHING. The furnishings in the house are nice and it has everything you need. The firepit in the back yard was great and the house had extra firewood. All the rooms have televisions and the living spaces have plenty of seating.

Perfect, peaceful spot for a girls trip

Me and two friends from college stayed at this property for a girls weekend. We found it very peaceful and had everything that we needed. My only suggested improvement would be to add a hot tub.

Quiet and peaceful stay

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect spot to relax. The nearby country and farm setting—with animals close by—made it feel like a true getaway. The home was clean, well-stocked, and just a short drive to all the Mohican activities, which made it super convenient. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, clean and accommodating.

This was such a great house to rent after our Mohican river float. The house was perfectly clean and stocked with every thing you could possibly need. The host was so polite and helpful.

Wintery getaway

Warm and cozy well decorated and stocked home. We were able tp explore the area and come back to this accommodating home. With the snow we especially enjoyed parking in the garage.

The folks who run this place are fantastic. They were the nicest folks in solving our problems. Very attentive to our needs. Recommend them to anybody wanting to stay in area. The house was filled with small amenities and they were incredible

Family Canoe Trip

Excellent communication from the owner . Very clean and had everything we needed . We made breakfast both days. Kitchen well equipped even had coffee . Great place to come back to after canoeing . Wife and son liked the cows across the street . Very peaceful . Would definitely return .

Wonderful

The house was in immaculate shape. Each room was elligantly designed with matching decorations. There were a vast amount of accommodations such as coffee, extra toothbrushes and dish washing supplies. I would definitely recommend staying at the house. The owner was very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful Country Home

We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed Jennifer's Country Home. Everything is new, very clean and beautifully decorated. Simple but oh so sweet! Very well stocked with everything we could need and more. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. The deck and back yard are gorgeous. We spent more time outside enjoying the country atmosphere than being inside. The Host Jennifer is lovely and very accommodating. 5 stars! We hope to return next year!

Peaceful with extra’s

To start this was my 1st experience with VRBO Booking and communication-easy with good communication! My stay was peaceful and I had everything one could need and more- lots of extra here. The views from front and back of home were beautiful- watched sunset from the front and moon and sunrise from back picture window or deck. I made all meals in the home and had more than what I needed to do so. LOVE the electric fireplace with remote and the deck with huge tree were my favorite things! The bed was very comfortable (I am rarely happy with mattresses in my travels), the decoration in home was lovely. The owner also provided info about places to go/see in the area. I was very happy with my experience and the surroundings for my stay. The owner has created a wonderful space and made everything about this easy. Thank you! I certainly hope to stay again.

What a great place! So clean, beautiful decor, very well stocked. The host, Jennifer, in was very quick in responding to questions. Very quiet location but close to everything we wanted to do.
