Located on a quiet street, one block from the ocean on Long Sands beach. You will enjoy the sound of the waves and salty air during your stay away from home. Open concept living room, with a full kitchen and full bath. Beds include 1 Queen, 1 twin over full bunk and two full size sleeper sofas. Short walk to choice of restaurant and cafe. Closely located to Short Sands, Yorks Wild Kingdom and many other local venues and activities. Tennis and Pickle Ball courts 1/4 mile away. Parking spaces for two cars. Wifi, TV, USB charging ports. Board games and playing cards. Beach chairs, cart and boogie boards provided. Bed linens and towels can be requested for small additional fee. (I would like to clarify that there is no pool on site. For some reason VRBO has listed there is but I cannot correct it. I’ve asked them to look into the issue.)

Cute place with great location

We loved our visit to York Beach! Kerry was a fantastic host. Great communication and very accommodating. Location was walking distance to the beach. Hope to visit again soon!

It is just a very short walk to the ocean!

This was our first trip to York, and we were very happy with this unit and its location. The mobile home was clean and well-furnished (and the beach chairs were very much appreciated!). There were restaurants in walking distance and others were a short drive away. The beach was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

First and foremost, know that this isn’t a condo, but a trailer. With that being said, the unit is a decent stay, clean & decorated in beach decor. We had one night of humidity and it was oppressive with very little airflow , though fans are provided. Once the humidity broke, it was much more comfortable. Kerry was very quick to respond & hospitable. The beach chairs and boogie boards provided is a nice touch & be sure to bring your own linens. A bit of a tight squeeze due to the design of the unit, we made it work & had a lot of fun. It is a good location with short walk to Long Sands.

This was a great place that we had a small company gathering at! The beach location was perfect! Kerry was very kind and fast to respond with any questions we had! Very cute and clean. Would 100% recommend. Thank you for sharing your home with us! 😁

A surprisingly awesome little place!

A well kept vintage mobile home that is incredibly clean, comfortable and homey. The owner does not lie when they say it's a 5 minute to Long Sand Beach. The neighborhood that it resides in is very quiet. Also very close to conventional shopping for any necessities. Only real down side is the parking may be not for a large vehicle like a full size truck or SUV. Our Ford Flex just barely fit. Overall I'd highly recommend.

We are normally able to park two mid/larger vehicles (van and SUV) directly in front of our unit. I will be sure to clarify the parking spots, so that it is clearly marked for future renters with a diagram.

No ocean view...unless you walk to the end of the street. Key did not lock the door so our belongings were not secure. 3 people rented but only 2 bath towels supplied...had to use kitchen towels for shower. They left the "password" for wi go but did not leave the network so we never got wi go setvice

James, I am sorry that you found it disappointing. I reached out to you four times over a couple of months ahead of your stay before getting a response from you. My cottage is not oceanfront and nothing in my listing implies that it is. I also communicated in our messaging that my unit is one block and a short 5 minute walk to the ocean. The key absolutely does lock the entry door of the unit. Linens are provided upon request, but you did not request linens and said you would bring your own. I did leave a couple as a gesture /back up. The binder that was left for you clearly notes the WiFi network information and also encourages you to contact me directly by phone if you have any questions or needs during your stay. At no point during your stay was I contacted by you or anyone in your party. Had you reached out I would have been very responsive to you.

I have stayed in many rentals in many states and even different countries over the years and I’ve always been happy with my experiences until this rental. I knew that it was a trailer from reading other reviews, not from the description. Although the pictures were accurate, the trailer was run down, dirty, and smelled terrible. There was garbage next to the bed and in the drawers. The coffee pot which looked like it was bought at the dollar store, didn’t work. None of the sliding doors which separated the rooms worked. (Which made the privacy of a small trailer even worse). I could go on, but you get the point. The final kicker was when the owner started giving us a hard time about how we checked out. It was cleaner than how we got it! I had picked up all the area rugs bc they were filthy and swept and washed the floor when we got there so I would feel less grossed out… and I forgot to put them back down. She accused us of damaging the floor which she knew was broken already. And… this rental was NOT cheap! And when the owner response to the review by complaining that I didn’t reach out to her…I didn’t reach out to the her bc there wasn’t anything she could do to make the stay better while we were there.

A nice mobile home and community, but struggles with the truth

The positive: It's a nice little place in a friendly community and close to the beach. York is a great place to spend a holiday. We were comfortable and mostly happy with the "condominium".The rest:All in, the place cost more than a comparable hotel room in the area for the same dates (6/19-22). This cost puts it into a somewhat high-end category in the summertime. There were a number of things that bothered me:1. The "small additional fee" for linens and towels was triple digits for a family of 3 for 3 days (VRBO doesn't let me state the price). Linens were provided inside of pillow cases; we put them on the bed. The fee is not 'small', and springing large fees in the fine print is a poor way to treat your customer.2. There is no ocean view and there is no pool. I and other commenters alerted the owner to this but the listing appears unchanged.3. As a mobile home, the main bedroom is accessed through first the small bedroom and then the bathroom. It worked out fine for us, but this is not what you expect from most 2 br 1 ba places.4.The owner immediately accepted my request for the place even though I specified in it that we were excited about the pool (that acceptance made it much harder to cancel without paying any fees).
