Beautiful spacious home close to the beach

This was a wonderful spacious home for our group of five. It's well appointed with everything you need. Just minutes from the beach and a fantastic base for making the most of the sights of Newport. Hard to Leave Newport

A successful getaway to Newport at Christmas! Morning walks to the nearby beach and convenient couple minute drive to everything else. Home was great in all ways! Wonderful host!

Perfect location!

This is the perfect location to explore Newport. The property is settled in a seaside neighborhood and just a short drive away from downtown Newport and beautiful beaches. The kitchen, living room, and backyard are all perfect for spending time with loved ones! We loved our stay here!

Amazing place

The house was even better than described. Very spacious and had everything we needed. Stayed for 4 nights with our 2 year old. Owner was so nice and provided a gate for the top of the stairs. Very child friendly. We didn’t use the basement but the room, bathroom, and space down there was gorgeous. Location is perfect. Very close to Newport but far enough away where it’s still nice and quiet and you have parking. Highly recommend and we will stay again!

Perfect house great location

This house was amazing. The location was so convenient, an easy five minute walk to the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. The house was so clean, so much room to spread out, had everything you could think of. The fenced in yard gave privacy and security for my dogs. Truly a well thought out design of a house. The kitchen is large as well with table and chairs as well as dining room with plenty of room in living room to be gathered around. Thank you!

Lovely weekend in Newport

Our group really enjoyed staying at the house. The host was very responsive, the home was clean, and there was a lot of space. The backyard was a nice space to relax as we had some great weather for the end of September. I would highly recommend this home!

Easy navigation to all the wedding festivities. No sugar packets left—-just artificial sweeteners Little warm in downstairs area ,small fan just didn’t cut it.. Wonderful backyard area! Overall was a positive experience

Crest is best

Close enough but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport, this location offers great beach access and is close to the trails of Sachuset Point. Local amenities accessible by foot. Would definitely stay here again! Kitchen well stocked with necessary dishware which we always appreciate. Nice yard too!

Beach, Relax, Repeat

We were so excited to try a new place to stay! This house is in a great location - walking distance to First Beach and a very short drive to my favorite beach, Second Beach. The house was very clean and my teens took turns sleeping downstairs for more privacy. The kitchen was well stocked and the photos are 100% accurate. Our one “issue” was that the ac unit was very loud in the kitchen. Like ridiculously loud when it came on. We found in the high humid temps we had to really cool the living room during the day so that the back bedroom was ok for sleeping. Good problem to have; thankfully the ac was there! The yard (it was our first time traveling with our 3 year old dog) was very nice and the kids enjoyed making dinner/smores around the fire pit.

Clean and comfortable beach house

This home was easy to access, clean and comfortable for our family to enjoy the beach in RI. The beach was a very short walk and we enjoyed the beach chairs and boggie boards which were for our use during our stay. The central ac and washer/dryer were a bonus. Would recommend this house to family/friends and we look forward to returning next summer.

Great home in a great location

Lovely well-kept home! Plenty of room for a family of four and our dogs. A short walk to beach/water views. A longer walk or short drive to the next beach which allows dogs at certain times. Host was great, very communicative. We so look forward to our return trip next year!

Wedding Guest Family Vacation

Great location, charming, well appointed beach house. Decor was beachy, fresh and simple. Kelly was very responsive and provided helpful, well organized information. The wedding my husband and I and adult son and girlfriend attended at the end of our week was in early May. Would love to return with our entire family (including a toddler grandchild) in the summertime.

Nice location

Simple and quaint cottage in a good location. It is in Middleton within walking distance of a few restaurants and a short drive to the center of Newport. We were two couples and the house allowed a lot of privacy but also comfortable meeting spaces.

I bought this house and met my husband at the Newport Blues Cafe on Thames St. within 3 months of moving in. We were engaged there and had our wedding reception right down the street at Easton's Beach. We love this house and the entire island. We were very sorry to leave, but wanted to get closer to family with a baby on the way!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is such an amazing location. Steps to First Beach, where there is beach volleyball, a carousel, and the Atlantic Beach Club restaurant complete with an outdoor bar on the beach with live music. Right across the street from the beach is Flo's Clam Shack and a couple great sports bars, and a few yards up the road is the Atlantic Grille, which is our favorite breakfast place around. All of this is a five minute walk from the house. And 2nd Beach (Sachuest Beach) is a mile walk away, which is our favorite beach for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming (the picture of us from the wedding is on 2nd Beach).
It's also about a mile walk to Cliff Walk, which is an amazing walking/biking trail with the ocean on one side and the beautiful Newport Mansions on the other. Mansion Tours on Bellevue Ave. are a fun and memorable activity. Also on Bellevue is the International Tennis Hall of Fame, where you can dine overlooking the grounds, tour the museum, or even book a court yourself, or attend a professional match if the timing is right.
Thames St. is only a 5 minute drive and it is chalk full of restaurants, bars, live music, theater, shops, festivals, concerts, comedy shows, sail boat rides, outdoor ice skating during the winter, fireworks on the 4th, arcade and ice cream.
Ocean view drive on the other side of the island is another one of our favorites for breathtaking ocean views and Brenton State Park, which is a gorgeous pet friendly park, great for picnicking, kite flying, or just relaxing.
10 minute drive inland, there are Polo matches every Saturday evening during the warmer months, as well as Newport Winery tours and tastings.
